My new favorite hotel! Clean room, the bathroom fan actually kept the room from fogging up, breakfast was simple but good and the exercise room was great!

These hotels are great for a nice basic stay , very clean , very comfy bed , nice breakfast options , 24 hr coffee machine , nice television ( you can connect your laptop but not sure about phone. It’s a flat screen but not a smart tv where you can sign into apps) . This location doesn’t have a pool but it does have a workout area . We stayed for a quick over while we attended a concert at the Kalamazoo state theater!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The check in was quick and the man behind the desk was nice enough. Not overwelcoming, but he was okay. The man at checkout, on the other hand, seemed very appreciative of us staying there and thanked us.The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and more importantly, it was quiet. There are very few places in the area to grab some food, this was somewhat of a downfall. There's an abandoned boarded up Godfathers pizza next door that's somewhat of an eyesore. It was a little off putting when we first drove up. This obviously isn't the hotels fault but not what a travlers wants to see when checking into a hotel. Breakfast in the morning was great! I saw on another post someone complaining there were no waffles. Who cares! There are plenty of other great options to pick from. The only thing that could have made this a better stay is if they had a pool. 😉 We would definitely stay here again.

The beds and pullows were very comfortable, got a great nights sleep. Had coffee 24/7 in lobby. Breakfast had cereal, assortment of bagels, packaged oatmeal, juice, hard boiled eggs, premade hot breakfast sandwich, assorted fruit, nice, fresh and simple. Right off 94, staff was excellent and friendly. Would stay again. Only complaint is hard water stains in bathroom toliet and shower.

This property has BIG problems with housekeeping staff. Room never cleaned 5/21-5/24. Teresa the GM is wonderful. Breakfast was great.

We stopped here on the way to our final destination so we could rest. The staff were nice, it’s easy to access, and the bed was comfortable. All that being said it smelled like weed, towels were stained pretty horribly, and we viewed the following wildlife: 2 living roaches, 3 dead roaches, 2 spiders, and a silverfish. So, probably not the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed.

We checked in late our first night, and the first room had ants all over. Alcohol and left over food left in the fridge with the addition of rust inside the fridge. The front desk had us check out 3 other rooms all the same ants and in one room the desk chair was beyond discussing. They couldn't refund us and told us we had to wait till the morning to speak to a manager. Beware this place does not get properly cleaned!!!!

Clean, clean, clean! The only drawback I could find is that the color temp of the lights are brilliant White which is incredibly helpful to show how impeccably clean this place is but without dimmers the brightness can be jarring in the middle of the night. Overall great stay.

Overall it’s a nice new hotel. Unfortunately the room we had was cleaned very well. There was wrappers and hair balls next to the bed and toilet paper was almost empty. But overall, I would stay here again

Our room was so gross. Crayon on the wall, crumbs on the bed headboard, fries under the bed, goo on the chair and lamp. Yuck.

Hotel was very nice, brand new. Room was a bit small but not an issue since I was traveling alone. Unfortunately there is a sketchy hotel right behind that had people walking around a lot. Didn't feel completely unsafe, but the area seemed a bit off.

The hotel is new and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It's not in the best part of town, and some of the other guests were a little rough around the edges. Also, the walls are very thin, so if you have a very loud guest next door to you as I did, you will hear everything. The pillows are a little too big and it was uncomfortable on my neck but the bed was comfortable. Also, they put body lotion in the body wash dispenser in the shower so I had no soap in the morning, but honest mistake I guess! :)

Second time i have been here and the wifi doesn't work. I can't stream. Moved rooms same thing. Staff is amazing. Beds are comfortable. I just wish i could relax how i want to.

The hotel desk staff was loud, disruptive and unprofessional. They were on the phone on a personal call when I came in and one left the desk and went to the back to loudly talk and curse while my kids were there. A homeless man came in while we were at breakfast and almost got into altercation with the staff. They did even call the police even after he came back in recording with his phone. The noise level in the hotel was ridiculous. We were kept up all night despite asking the front desk to deal with the noise. We will never stay here again.

Very nice hotel but they need to figure out a better system for housekeeping. We got there around 5-5:30 and there was no clean rooms available. We waited for a bit in the lobby(with a few other families as well) and then they sent us up to our room and they were just starting to clean the room so we waiting in the hallway for a good 1/2 hr-45 min. and all the rooms around it were still needing cleaned. Check in is supposed to be at 3:00 :( Like I said..it was a very nice hotel other than that.

The first room had a clogged and completely disgusted toilet. That being after I called ahead to make sure a room would be clean and ready twice. The associate at the desk was playing on his phone the whole time while talking to me and didn’t even offer anything to apologies for the inconvenience of having to be moved to another room.

When we came to check in there was a line. The lobby smelled like cigarettes. Got the front desk no hello just grabbed my license. When I asked is this a king bed he said no 2 queens. I need a king for my medical needs. He said it will be 10-15 minutes none are clean. 30 minutes later I just take my 2 queens as there is a line out the door. He doesn’t speak English well so not good at communicating my need well. All pillows in the room labeled firm. None are firm. 10:30 pm at night after returning the rooms on our floor were still being cleaned abs the cleaning crew were leaving doors open tv blaring and talking loosing on their phones. They had people in the lobbies waiting for their rooms to still be cleaned when I complained. Will never ever ever use this hotel again. Their breakfast is a joke. The room smelled stale the shower I had to clean again to use……

Overall great location, close to where we needed to be. The weather was not great, so the side walks and parking lot were not cleared well. That caused the inside of the lobby to be a bit messy. When I got out of our vehicle I slipped and fell in the parking lot. The person that checked us in was pleasant but didn’t bother standing to greet he was on a stool the entire time. Maybe that is just how it is. When we came down for breakfast there was no fruit, only 2 cups of blueberry yogurt, white egg omelets, cereal and only one coffee maker was working.

Front Desk staff at check-in was excellent, I very nice young man who was very pleasant. Although the hotel is not that old my room was in need of maintenance. Peeling paint, loose tile in the bathroom and less than spick'n'span conditions. Breakfast was just slightly better than nothing. I arrived for breakfast at 9:00 a.m. (they said breakfast was open until 9:30). I couldn't get the coffee machine to work, and the overall selection was very limited. I found no one to ask for help. I think I would avoid this property in future trips to Kalamazoo . . . but it certainly wasn't awful.
