Toilet was not screwed down. Mold in bathroom. Musty stinky rooms. Dirty carpet to the point your feet would be black after showering. Pool was green. Kids were looking forward to swimming… did not let them use the pool. We went for froyo instead to get out of the hotel room.

The property was ok for the price. The breakfast was not good, the eggs horrible, the sausage was hard & there was ants on the cereal dispenser. The construction at the property next to it woke us up at 8:00, had a prop plane flying over very low for hours after 10:00 at night, but were 5 minutes from the airport. The elevator was sketchy, it reminded me of something out of Tower of Terror. Vending machine had few options & cost $1.50 a can drink & a small bag of chips each. Ice machine leaked water into the hallway. Toilet was not bolted to the floor securely.

Great Stay. Check in was quick and easy. Pool was nice, the Grand kids loved it. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Great location to freeway and very close to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, which is why we picked this hotel. Felt safe and secure here.

There was a lot of construction making it inconvenient to get to the hotel, the TV was old and wasn't working at first. We got it to work though. The blow dryer stopped working as we were using it. The pool had WAY too much chlorine in it.

Overall, this is a decent hotel. I have stayed here several times with incident. The one issue is that the side road into the hotel has potholes that haven't been fixed for more than a year. I would stay here again.

We stay here when we are in town to visit our daughter. There are closer hotels but we prefer this one. Nice friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms & comfy bed! Breakfast is great with warm items options and having a laundry room is helpful. Hotels is a bit tricky to get to with a very long entrance drive past some new apartment complex but there's plenty of parking. It's always quiet too which is nice. Convenient right off the highway so there is some traffic noise. Definitely a good value you get everything you need at a reasonable price!

The room was pretty clean but noticeable dust on shelves and water stains on the counter. Missing tile on the wall in the bathroom. The walls had some miscellaneous scuffs and such. Bed was comfortable. Shower head didn’t fully work and would always send water to the lower faucet. Breakfast was hot and appreciated, good variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location just far enough outside of the city.

Black mold in the bathroom looks like they tried to cover it up. Dead bolt didn't work on the door and bathroom door handle was screwed up. Carpet was dirty

Our room was invested with small ants. We had to throw away food and drinks. We told the front desk twice and asked for any traps or for someone to place them and they never did anything. We ended up checking out early because of this and ending our vacation early. We asked for additional towels on day 1 as there was not enough in our room and were told we had to wait for house keeping to come. I usually only stay and choice hotels but next time I would not stay here.

The first room smelled like smoke really bad, After changing rooms, the tub was not clean and was rusting . The water pressure was poor and the air conditioning intermittently worked but was filled with dust. The curtains were very dirty. The only reason I am saying poor instead of terrible is the bed was somewhat comfortable. The pillows were as small as couch cushions, and the TV didn’t work well. It also had a smell. The staff were decent and check out and check in were pretty easy but Wi-Fi didn’t always work. All in all it wasn’t great.

We were told we were no shows even though we paid and the cleaned our room. Gave out room to another person who tried to get in during the night. Gave us a bottle of water as an apology.

I made reservations and paid online but when I got there it took 40 minutes to check in then was required a $60 deposit once in my room everything was fine until the kids used the bathroom and the toilet over flow onto the floor called downstairs to front desk 3 times and 4hours hours someone finally came up and switch us to a new room the next morning at check out time the manager went and check the room and brought a cover back and said he was keeping the deposit for a stain on the cover when they have to be washed any way and tried to argue me down of why the money was being taken then said he’ll just take $20 I was so angry me and my family couldn’t even enjoy our breakfast or stay for the price we paid and I think I got charged twice over looking receipts now maybe next time they’ll be more generous overall the kids did get to swim

There were people banging the doors at 2 am and no one seemed to do anything. Then I was rudely awaken at 8am because the front desk said they didn't have my reservations. How did I check in and have 2 room keys? And why wake us up at 8am.

Been going to this hotel all summer long to watch my son who plays for the Kalamazoo Growlers. Front desk were very friendly and helped in any way possible. No complaints and I will definitely stay again.

I booked this hotel two months in advance because of the good star ratings and affordable price. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the reviews. Our toilet was literally coming up from the floor, and when I reported it to the front desk, they didn’t seem to care. The room itself was dusty, the toilet had what looked like black mold around the rim, and there were spiders in the corners. At checkout, the front desk staff had earbuds in and was talking on the phone while assisting us, which felt very unprofessional. The pool also closed at 9 PM, which was disappointing since most places we’ve stayed keep theirs open later. Honestly, the only decent part of the stay was the breakfast.

Everyone was helpful. The hair dryer didn't and they brought a new one to my room right away. When I asked the housekeeper where the ice machine was they took my ice bucket and went to get the ice. I didn't ask just nice customer service. Room was clean bed comfortable bathroom clean. We will be staying there again.

We meet our family in Kalamazoo for a weekend outing. Kalamazoo was more fun than expected and the weekend went well. Our stay at the Comfort Inn was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean. The local highway construction work was pretty loud but the Inn had nothing to do with that.

Convenient to Kalamazoo airport as well as Portage and downtown Kalamazoo. Very near I-94 exit/entrance. Currently a little difficult to get into parking area and main entrance with inadequate signage. Breakfast good.

Everything getting a little run down and our dated. Was very convenient next to the interstate…but you could really hear the cats reve up at the traffic lights. We managed to sleep through it each night though. Decent place at a decent price

Room had Nutella packets in the room behind the light between the beds. Food could use some work. Stayed 5 days and the cooked food was bad. Only eat 1 day there. There breakfast was bad.....

It was ok for one night as a rest stop. Notjing else. Brekfast was good. The breakfast area is tiny and gets full quickly ( 4 tables only). The bathroom in the room needed a lot of upgrades. The toilet looked dirty and so did the bathtub. Check on woman was not friendly and was annoyed when i asked for the wifi password.
