Clean and spacious king room. 24 hour coffee is great! Desk personnel friendly and helpful. Lake Michigan beach walk is just across the highway. Eating options around here are quite doable; nothing fancy. Enjoyed senior night at the casino too.

The room appeared clean and in nice condition, however there was an over whelming smell of may be pine sol or other cleaning product, the laminate floor was slippery, almost greasy, it was 10pm and they had no other room available, I opened the door and window, then mopped the floor with a damp towel, turned out it wasn’t clean at all, the towel was very dirty, I told the manager about my issues the night before, she wasn’t happy that I may have ruined one of their towels, I was shocked to find out that after the experience I had, that was the first thing that came to her mind, later that day as I was traveling home the manager called me to tell me they where going to give you a small credit to pass on to me, Haven’t seen the credit on my card yet, they did make a small effort to make it right but to little to late in my opinion

First time staying at the econo lodge in Manistique and at a Motel for that matter. It was decent. The section our room was in looks like it was renovated within the last couple of years. Price was good, and it had everything we needed. Beds were comfy too!

The owner, Sonny, was extremely welcoming and flexible on all fronts - we asked to change our room to face the front of the property and no problem at all! Very outdated motel. Staff was super nice and helpful. No coffees service in room. Breakfast ehhh. No eggs but turkey sausage palatable. Staff of one ( 1 ). Trying her best to literally do everything!! She was checking in and out while making breakfast and cleaning rooms all simultaneously.

The building is not very appealing from the road. The ladies at the desk and I had a very hard time communicating. It was for me to understand their dialect and they must have had a hard time understanding me as my zip code was not entered properly. The batteries in the TV remote became weak. I asked for replacements about an hour ago. They did not know where they were but would get them to me when they were found. We still have not heard from them.

Right across US-2 from Northern shore of Lake Michigan and one of the end trailheads to a beautiful boardwalk all along the shoreline that's at least a mile maybe 2. Not too far from a Gourmet-like grocery store with prepared Pasties rated excellent, large wine selection, etc.

Loved being right across the street from a little boardwalk and trail. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Very small town, limited dining. Shower head didn’t want to work for a couple minutes but I figured it out. Room was clean. Sheets looked fresh. Many fresh towels available. Perfect for a rugged day of hiking!

A very nice hotel and a convenient place to stay. Room was spacious and clean, bath was clean. Breakfast was ok. The coffee unfortunately was lousy. They have one of those coffee dispensers which is basically instant coffee.
