Old, Stains on walls and ironing board cover, only one elevator for entire complex had to walk 5 minutes to get to my room. Alarm woke me up on last day we all had to stand in heat for hours.

Nowhere did it mention before I booked that the entire first floor of the hotel is under construction. There’s pounding and paint fumes through the whole hotel. There was even drywall dust footsteps in my room. The side entrances to the hotel have garbage and construction stuff outside them. They should definitely be making it very clear that the hotel is under renovation.

The beds are so old and mattress have never been replaced. The room was gross as the vents had piles of dirt coming out of them. Bedsheets had a yellow stain to them and staff didn’t clean my room one of the nights there. Most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had

Front desk staff was amazing! Very friendly and eager to help. Room wasn't vacuumed when we checked in, such low hanging fruit makes me wonder what else isn't clean. Pealing wallpaper in bathroom, leaky bathtub faucet, bathtub stopper didn't work properly. The two nights we stayed the property had some outfit doing swim lessons in the small pool so we couldn't use. I am not usually a negative review leaver but this post pandemic negligence and lack of service in what should be a good mid-range business hotel is unacceptable. I expect this from a random motel, not a Hilton property.

The property definitely needs a refurbishing. The carpets are stained all through the hotel and in the rooms. The A/C didn't work on the second floor halls, nor did the ice machine. Staff was excellent though.

The pool was in use by a swim school, and that wasn't disclosed to us during our visit. The room was clean, but things seemed to be missing - a chair, a lamp, and the bathroom door did not open and close easily - there was also a very loud sound that it made. I also called the front desk and asked for extra blankets that never arrived.

Rooms were clean and stocked. No mircowave in rooms. Pool area was clean but pool towels were not stocked regularly. Front desk night was very sweet and helpful. Encounters with "housekeeping" staff was very unprofessional. Pool does not have a shallow end which was hard to accomodate with younger children. Standard 4ft deep. Also no hot tub. Breakfast area was nice but they do not have continental breakfast. Prices were EXTREMELY steep $$$ considering the average breakfast available for a buffet. Bar prices for adult beverages were also steep.

This hotel is very outdated. I was not happy. Everything is old and rundown. My bathroom had a leak that I listened to all night, and the tub drain was clogged and would not allow the water to go down. Tables looked a tad greasy. I did not feel comfortable staying here but it was far too late to search for another hotel. It was unlike other Doubletrees I stayed at in the past.

My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the shower and bath temp was just slightly warm but not at all hot. The location is perfect with plenty of places to eat and shop around. I really appreciated the warm delicious cookie.

Towels were what I cal derm abrasion. The property is undergoing a remodel, and the public area were new and the rooms were 1980. I had no table lamp and nor charging facility for phone or laptop No lighting, one lamp for the bedroom area!

The poor guy at the reception was understaff based on the events that were happening in the space. The bathroom was not clean and the carpet was old, definitely not what you expected for a premium pricing or double tree standards as whole.

Staff was terrific. A gentleman employee even helped us by jump starting our rental car when we found our vehicle with a dead battery. A member of the cleaning staff brought us some plastic silverware when we realized we had nothing to eat our salad that we’d brought to the room. Front desk was friendly and helpful. There was some wear and tear showing on the carpet but the pleasant staff made it easy to look past this minor negative. Beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet which made for a good night’s sleep.

The staff was rude and unprofessional. Also they need to make it clear in advance that the continental breakfast isn’t free. They charge $18.95 for a basic free breakfast at any other hotel. Disappointed. They also allowed people to check in under my personal name without me present.

My daughter and I just returned from a weekend in Detroit. The main purpose was to go to the Detroit Institute of Art but we also wanted to shop at Twelve Oaks Mall so we chose this hotel. We were very happy and would stay again. Close to the mall and also lots of plazas nearby with stores, restaurants, etc. Hotel room clean, quiet and safe. The property was being renovated and the pool was closed for half of our stay. The bath tub was dirty. They were hosting a family reunion of over 200 people. The music from the party was loud and was heard late into the night. We could hear people talking through the walls until after 1am. Knocking on doors at 6am. Breakfast was a disaster. It’s $18.95 if you don’t have it included. They were dramatically understaffed for having such a large group - they all had breakfast included with their rate. We tried having breakfast at 7am and 9am on different days. Disaster both times. They have one waffle maker. We waited over 20 minutes to make a waffle. Planning needed to be better. The room felt humid. Nice area. I’m sure if we stayed another time it would be better but for what we paid, this wasn’t good.

The hotel charges $20.00 per person for an average/basic breakfast. For a hotel stay in excess of $200 per night, that is outrageous. Additionally, coffee is only available to guests during breakfast hours. After that, no coffee for the entire day and evening. I wouldn't stay at this property again.

Great property with great surroundings for shopping. Stayed two nights and it worked for our purpose. Great greeting cookies. Only downfall was that we were booked for full breakfasts when two continental-types of breakfast were had. Breakfast seemed uninterested in knowing what people had and just sent standard billing . All in all, great service for the majority of time

Great hotel, great staff, fantastic breakfast (went with our room but I am not sure it went with all rooms - $12.95 otherwise). Room was clean and we had everything we needed. Bedding could have been more comfortable. Great area, everything we needed was within walking distance from the hotel.
