Property is in the midst of a remodel. So, a number of rooms were closed, the gym was closed, and there were construction related materials around the property. The room was fine. Nothing remarkable. Hot breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly. There are a number of other properties in the immediate vicinity that appeared to be in a little better shape. Not to say that this property won't be better upon completion of remodel, but for now, I would probably look elsewhere.

The pool heater was broken so the water was ice cold. One of the only reasons we booked here so the kids were extremely letdown when they couldn’t swim. Check in was supposed to be at 3 but we didn’t show up until 4 and still had to wait around 30 minutes to be able to even check in because the rooms weren’t clean yet.

A bit rough around the edges and seemed like it was under construction on the exterior. Gym was not accessible during our stay. Staff was friendly and hardworking. Loved the high powered hair dryer.

The people at the property were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was normal hotel fare.The thing I didn't like was that the pool was non-operational. I specifically picked this hotel because I needed the pool for my aching body.

The hotel is great and very clean. The parking lot is in terrible shape. It rained while we were there and it caused ponds in the parking lot. There places you couldn’t even park because of it

Should have been told this property was under construction and amenities were missing. We pulled up and it looks as though there is a lot of work going on- only two others staying here. The fitness center was out of order, pool heater broken, the tv in my room did not work. Staff was friendly, room was clean enough, but overall we were extremely disappointed in our stay.

Very friendly staff, clean comfortable room that was very quiet. Pool was nice. 1 star deducted only for the craters in the parking lot that could swallow a small car. Breakfast was fine and is average hotel fare.

The parking lot was flooded when we got there, so there was limited parking. Upon arrival to the room, the bathroom was dirty. There was mold around the caulking in the bath tub, the toilet was dirty, the mirror was dirty and the grout on the floor was dirty.

Please, never accept room 214. It is right above the lobby and the sliding door in the lobby booms throughout this room. It sounded like a 1960’s hot rod starting up outside in the parking lot every time the door opened/closed. It made for a very miserable nights sleep as the door opened on a regular basis until about 1:00 AM and then occasionally all night long. Wasn’t impressed by the breakfast either but some of that may have been because of the terrible nights sleep. They may have given us the room (right next to the elevator as well) because we booked through Expedia but no way of telling. Either way, avoid this hotel entirely, or demand a different room if they assign you to 214.

Stopped here on the way to northern Michigan. I was a little worried when I walked into the lobby because it was extremely warm like the ac wasn’t working and it felt a little worn down. But when we got to the room it was clean and comfortable and the ac worked fine. The breakfast was okay. Good selection but the area where you eat was in the lobby and it was small and crowded and very hot like I said before.

Was close to anything you may need. Shopping/food Was quiet at night. Room was clean. Only thing I see needs changed is the window had sheers and curtains, but the curtain did not close so room was not dark for sleeping. (Street lights outside). I was on 3 floor. Yes I will stay there again next year.

The rooms don't have a mirror for you to see how you look in your clothes. There is one mirror and its in the bathroom. The closet is so tiny, we couldn't hang all our clothes and it wasn't that many. We utilized the hang up bag and laid it on the floor next to one of the beds. Now, the staff gave excellent service, and the room was clean.

The sitting area with the extra TV was an excellent feature. Check-in was very slow, but front desk was friendly. Our room was not cleaned so garbage was a little overflowing, and we had to phone for fresh towels. Expected service was not up to par.

Overall I was pleased with my stay with the exception that I paid for a King bed and received 2 queens as no rooms were available and I booked well in advance. The hotel was unable to refund me the difference as I had booked through Expedia.

Waited 15 minutes at desk before an employee came in. Looked like she had run an errand in her car. She didn't even apologize to all the people waiting to check in. Then she asked if we wanted a queen or king. My reservation was for a king suite. She didn't act professional at all. Otherwise hotel is average. Bed is just ok

Hotel was under renovations and I was unaware when I booked. The staff was absolutely amazing and addressed our needs immediately. They were really nice. However, we had an issue with our room and the Manager was supposed to contact us. I tried calling back after the weekend for a follow up, and I never received a call back. I followed up again a week later and still no call back. It’s been a month now. I was assured I would get a call back this time, nope!

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. They served hot free breakfast. My only issue was that I was not lucky but both checking in and out. The process took long- staff had issues with their computer system checking in (took about 20 minutes) and there was no staff at the desk when I checked out.

I booked a room for the night because we there for a church revival. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming. My room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was very clean as well. There hotel was under construction but they ladies at the front desk were so nice and accommodating they put us on a floor that wouldn’t be so noisy but otherwise we had a great experience here especially being in Saginaw for the first time. Also you have many options to pick from for restaurants as well.

Pretty poor experience for multiple reasons. Asked if I wanted housekeeping throughout my week long stay. I of course said yes…. Never got housekeeping once. Construction was as going on for my entire stay as well. In the morning until going to sleep. Nice little surprise as you show up out of town and already booked the hotel. The receptionist told me it was all finished in the rooms, it’s just the lobby. That was a blatant lie. They would be working on rooms on the second floor in the evening while I was in my room. My shower door was broken, the remote to my tv didn’t work fully. The toilet would barely flush. I’m sorry to leave such a negative review, but it really was just an awful experience from the moment of arrival to leaving.

They overbooked the hotel and had no room for me when I went to check in. They basically said too bad for you. They told me to try booking I. Another town but to not choose a shady motel. Absolutely ridiculous since I had prepaid for a room.

I liked the fact that two large strip malls were within easy walking distance for any items wanted or needed at a moment's notice. The property is easily accessible to the town's main shopping avenue. I regret that the actual hotel is largely concealed by the surrounding properties.

This was a Christmas shopping trip and the location of the hotel was perfect. Right in the mix of shopping and food. Accommodations were great. Only complaint would be that the heater had a funny smell when it was first turned on. But it disapated after a while.

Brief stay here, check in staff was polite and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Book area was clean even though we didn't have time to use it, we still checked it out. Breakfast options were typical, waffles bagel eggs sausage oatmeal cereal. Breakfast was well stocked and kept clean.

They were remodeling so cleanlyness was not what it would be when the project is done. Room was clean. Shower fan did not work. Elevator needed to be vacuumed. Breakfast was very good. Staff did a good job at counter and in breakfast area.
