Breakfast isss not freeeeee Maybe I just assumed because of the verbiage but it’s not and it’s not good enough for it to be 20.00 a person. The dining area was not cleaned consistently so food a crumbs was everywhere. Parking after 1am is hard there is barley any parking if you come in late That’s my only 2 complaints That’s why I can 4 stars Other than that the hotel was very nice and clean and staff was friendly and accommodating I would definitely stay here again

Guest services was awesome, check-in was a breeze. All staff I came in contact with was friendly and quite helpful. Parking was a bit congested but adequate. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The only takeaway was most of the outlets were loose so the devices were hard to keep charged.

Stay was amazing. Very clean hotel, pool area big, and lots of windows with a huge outdoor area to sit and still able to watch your kids. Staff at front desk weee very pleasant checking us in and out.

Nice property, great location near alot of food spots, liquor stores. The rooms were clean, even after my inspection which is always a plus. The room was a bit dated with no microwave (it did have a mini fridge) decor a bit dated Staff was amazing they made sure I received my points, I checked in early on the Marriott app and they allowed me to check in at 9 in stead of the 3pm check in time Pool was clean and indoors that's always a plus! Would recommend staying here **call ahead and see what the deposit is per day before getting there the highest is 300 a day the lowest is 25 a day**

The restaurant was closed for renovations, yet they still maintained the bar for evening cocktails. Our server Jennifer was very accommodating, and a delight to converse with. Jo was equally delightful with any questions or concerns I had at check in. The room was clean and bathroom had adequate toiletries for multiple showers! We didnt access the pool, but it looked nice. It was actually empty most of the time. Most of the guests appeared to be traveling on business. Complimentary breakfast was adequate with most everything needed to start the day. All in all a great stay!

The walls were paper thin and had multiple rooms with people fighting/screaming with each other at the top of their lungs- endless smell of marijuana throughout the halls and elevator. Had to call security to get someone checked on in a room next to us because we couldn’t sleep due to the abusive nature of their fight. Pool was a cloudy mess. It was terrible to sleep there. Staff were nice. Rooms were clean

Well the hotel looked nice I was disappointed in the service. The bartender was very rude and uninviting. Also, we arrived on a Friday night hoping to grab dinner at the restaurant only to find out it was closed because they didn’t have a server. We had to eat at a table by the bar. The bar was full of people not staying at the hotel and very loud and obnoxious. So we didn’t stay down there too long. Food was ok but over priced. I’m from Chicago and was charged $20 for a cosmo! I don’t even pay that here. I would not recommend the restaurant or bar just based off price. Room was ok. Floors were not very clean and shower wouldn’t drain due to hair build up under the cover over the drain. We lifted it and saw and were really grossed out. We didn’t get to use the pool it was always full and loud. Over all stay was ok but we won’t be staying here again and we come to Michigan often to visit family.

I brought my family here while visiting some friends. We fully intended to use the pool multiple times a day, at the start and end of our days. The front desk staff was very pleasant and welcoming, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. The parking lot was also excellently well lit. Unfortunately, the pool completely ruined what could have been a great stay. While the water was pleasantly warm, the pool was disgusting. There were sticks, leaves, bugs, and even a bandage floating in it. On top of that, there was a noticeable film across the surface and throughout the water. I immediately notified the front desk on our first night—staff were polite, seemed genuinely concerned, and said they would contact maintenance right away. I took my young daughter out and we immediately showered, happy we did get our heads or faces in the pool water. When I checked the pool the following night, it was still in the same condition—bandage and all. It’s clear that no one addressed the issue. For a Marriott property, I expected much better upkeep and attention to cleanliness, especially in a shared facility like the pool.

We choose this hotel when ever we are in the Detroit area. We have enjoyed 3 visits in the last two months! The staff is friendly and efficient, the hotel is very clean and the noise level is low. breakfast was tasty !! Parking is free

Our room wasn't properly cleaned and the bed wasn't even made! Floors needed to be swept n sanitized. I've never had this happen before 😔 way too much money for one night. The staff seemed to struggle n check in was chaos. After reading many reviews about hotels in this area, seems to be the normal. This is why I hate to travel.

This is my family’s second stay at the property and we always have a comfortable experience. The building is a little older, but it has been kept up well. The only minor issue that we had was that a couple of our outlets didn’t work, but there were many outlets available for use. We will be booking again.

This property seems to have been very poorly built. The walls are so thin, you hear people as if they are in the room with you. Joe, the weekend manager mismanages his authority. When i complained of the noise he told me i had to leave. This, because i wanted to meet with him in his office if need be to discuss his arrogant and rude behavior towards me. Furthermore, i want to make a suggestion. As i have seen in other hotels in which i have stayed such as the Hilton, immediately upon exiting the elevator there are signs (plaques) indicating that as of a certain time in the evening ( 9pm, 10pm?) There should not be any noise emanating from the rooms otherwise it will be quickly addressed. With the very thin walls you have, this should be a necessity in this facility. The hotel was very cozy for me and my man and the front desk service was great as well the only thing I didn’t like was that there was no microwave in the room so you had to go to the lobby but they had plenty of elevator access and stairs as well. I also didn’t like that nothing was truly complimentary besides coffee and tea in the room which was great we were just missing a piece to our coffee machine in there

The lady at check in was extremely condescending. I called the day prior to inform them that i will be arriving a day late due to flight cancellations. Upon my arrival, there seemed to have been an issue with the reservation which was taking a long time so I began to inquire about the wait time because I needed to get ready for a graduation that was starting in 2 hours. She responded in a very cheeky tone "I don\'t know how long it will take so maybe you should leave for your graduation and I can check you in after return" while shrugging her shoulders and walking away from the front desk (for support) before i could respond. It was extremely rude and showed a complete lack of concern for a customer whose room should have been avaliable because I paid for the night prior. Besides this, breakfast wait time was excessive due to communication with the order taking technology. These were the only 2 concerns I\'ve experienced. Besides the extremely rude lady with the 2 tone color braids and the nose ring, the remaining team members were professional.

The room was clean, the pillows and matress were comfortable. The noise level was very minimal and each and every employee we encountered was pleasant and very helpful. There was a slight mix up with the deposit amount charged to our card because we booked through a 3rd party but they fixed it for us!

Katisha and Dante at the front desk were exceptional staff. Katisha particularly was so welcoming and cheerful. Gave a really good first impression. I was however disappointed that the restaurant was under maintenanace during my stay hence i didn't get to have breakfast. Other than that, my experience was great.

It was only 18 minutes out of Detroit. We stayed there for a concert and it was the best decision we made. Free parking! The room was clean and the staff was super nice. They let us check in early and the bed was super comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again.

Our server, Jolie(?) was the best. Efficient and caring. The first day we stayed, there was more staffing and when we came to breakfast it appeared that our server did not have any assistance. Being a server for over 20 years- it was obvious to see the lack of support that she had, no bid boy, no manager in sight which was disappointing to see on a Saturday morning and about 25 people she was esotojf on. We got everything we needed and as I mentioned, our server was great!

A decent stay for the price, but management/ownership needs to see to a few things: #1 The in room phone, with which one is supposed to be able to order room service, call the front desk, etc. had a ring tone but the buttons did not work. When I went downstairs (in my pajamas) to order my room service in person, the front desk staff said they’d send someone to see to it immediately. No one ever arrived. #2- When my room service was delivered (delicious, BTW!) the waiter asked if the ice machine on my floor was working because the restaurant & bar’s main machine was not. I then checked the ice machine on my floor (4), and it was also not working. #3- The room was clean, but the headboard on my bed was damaged all across, and there was a weird “U” sticker someone had randomly placed on the bedside lamp’s shade. It was not something anyone would have missed; whoever was responsible for housekeeping obviously made the choice not to remove it or replace the shade.

Overall quiet stay for NYE - the radiator in our room made a continuous clicking sound that woke me up several times. The internet on the tv was buffering so much that I just used my phone to stream. The food for dinner was bland and left much to the imagination. The breakfast sandwich was good. All the experiences with the staff were okay... for the most part. The morning of New Year's Day there was a woman at the desk that seemed a bit frazzled. She gave lots of personal information regarding her family instead of explaining our bill and options for extending our stay. We did end up booking another night but used a 3rd party booking site since the interaction with her was not helpful and we had meetings to attend. When I returned later that afternoon all staff interactions were pleasant and helpful.
