First off, the staff is amazing. So friendly even when (due to a flight delay) I arrived super late. And when my parents were having issues with their room, they did everything to make it right even though they were completely full and busy with a big wedding party. The location is great and the pool and fitness center are open until midnight. The only thing I’d “dock” some points on is some of the items in the room are a little dated and worn out. I had to work one of the days out of my room, and the desk chair had seen better days. The desk was all scratched up, and some of the towels were barely holding together (although staff got me some additional ones). Is it the Arrowwood Lodge? No. But it was a great alternative as the staff really care about you. I’d stay here again.

We loved that the pool was open until midnight, with no children in the pool after 10pm. Screaming children (yes, even they're screams of joy) really kills a relaxation vibe. Our room was right next ti the breakfast area but it wasnt loud. The hot breakfast options were different each day & quite good! Staff was friendly. We will definately be coming back!

Close to a lot of restaurants, other up north attractions and towns. Easy access. Love the hot tub and pool and pool are open until midnight. Very easy check in.

The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was terrible. There needs to be a way for the hotel to clean up their rooms. I would not stay here again.

It is a lovely hotel. The hotel is located in a busy area, but it is quiet and feels safe. The breakfast is plentiful and excellent. The staff is amicable and accommodating. The only remark I have is that the carpet looked as if it needs some cleaning.

We arrived late and were tired from a long day driving or we would have left. The room smelled and the carpet was disgusting. We left our shoes on and kept everything we could off the floor. I would not recommend this place unless to anyone.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was so friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of extras. And the price was right. I would highly recommend. The only negative would be for people who can’t do steps, ask for the first floor room because there are no elevators. But that didn’t bother us.

Plenty of clean towels, hood coffee with the kuerig . The bathtub was VERY dangerous!!! My husband and I both almost slipped -the surface was so slippery you couldn’t stand in one place without sliding

The room was neat and clean. All the staff we encountered from the front desk to house keeping were very polite. They had a good variety of hot foods that changed for breakfast. My only complaint is the the comfort of the bed. It was way too firm. I dreaded having to try and sleep a second night there.

The hotel service line wouldn't allow me to reserve a cot for our room and told me to book it through Expedia. Expedia online service called the hotel and reserved it for us and told me no charge. The hotel staff wanted to charge us extra, but they did honor the agreement. This could have all been resolved a lot easier if the hotel service line had just helped us from the beginning.

I think the property was nice. The staff was friendly. I felt the room was a little dirty, bathroom door had dry water marks running down, the edging on the walls could use a little vacuuming around the room. The beds were not that comfortable for my husband and I, kids slept fine. I wish the bathroom sink had more area to store your belongings, it mainly was the sink with about 2 inches around it. There was no place to hang your hand towel or set it without it falling in sink from the kids. I did get a message saying staff does housekeeping every 3 days, after the first night they came through and tried to make beds and provided fresh towels. It was nice, however I wasn’t expecting them to come since it was our first night so our room was a mess since we had to leave for a competition. So a little notification would have been nice. Also messaged them what time breakfast was at about 8-9 pm, didn’t get a response until 1:30 am. There is no elevator, it wasn’t a huge deal to us as I knew that while we booked it. Pool and hot tub were nice and warm. Breakfast was good with nice options. Would be helpful if they advised you pool hours and breakfast hours at check in, as some reviews had mixed times for them. Overall, we would stay again.

The bathroom shower head has white gunk in it. Needs attention. Beds are horrible! They are not comfortable. Pillows are uncomfortable to sleep on. Service was great! Breakfast was good, however the bacon is not to be desired. Felt like we were eating bacon flavored paper. Very dog friendly, the baggie of treats and doggy poop bags were a very nice touch. All in all out stay was pleasant.

My family and I loved the breakfast and pool. The temperature of the swimming pool was perfect. It wasn’t freezing like many places. My kids and I were able to spend a lot of time in it without having to rush out and into the hot tub. There were many delicious options for breakfast which was open to 10:30 so you can sleep in a little without worrying about missing it. Another wonderful touch was the Minnesota post cards that were available in the lounge. There was a fun assortment of them and they already had a stamp. We definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
