This was an amazing property. The pool and hot tub were my daughter’s favourite place to be and the beach with kayaks and stand up paddle boards was a close second. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable with a balcony to watch the lake. The hotel is well maintained and the hot breakfast was 5 star.

The Lodge on Lake Detroit was cozy, clean and a great place for the kids. The beach was sandy and the open space by the lake was nice for yard games. Having access to kayaks and paddle boards was a nice perk. The staff were great!

The Lodge was very comfortable and staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean. The pool area was very nice. Our room was clean and well-stocked. We were extremely pleased with everything about our stay and will definitely return.

Great place with unique pine log furniture. Lakefront balcony rooms perfect for viewing sunsets and lake. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and the usual waffle maker and eggs. Super friendly staff and actual clean and working spa pool. A little weedy in the small swimming area, but typical of lakes in the area.

The hotel was beautiful, our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We did find some ants on the nightstand which was the only complaint we had. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. I would suggest extending breakfast until 10:00 am. I would recommend staying at the Lodge to all of my family and friends.

The lodge was very clean, and the staff was very attentive when asked. Like many properties now, this one didn't offer daily maid service, which was fine with us. We could pick up clean towels, etc., whenever we wanted, and we didn't have to coordinate any plans around maid service. The Lodge is right off a major highway and has its own beach with games, boats, breakfast offerings, etc.

The property was very pretty. We had a handicap room that was very accessible other than the fact that it was the furthest away from the entry of the hotel. I didn’t like that they don’t come in and give you clean towels every day and empty the garbage. It states that we are to leave the garbage outside the door door before 11 o’clock and they But they never did. The entryway staff were not very friendly so initially I was very let down. But overall, the experience was very nice very pleasant. The breakfast was very good thank you.

We decided to extend our stay by one day. The staff seemed confused and talked to us numerous times trying to find rooms. We ended up being moved after being assured we could stay in the room we had. Had a couple's get away. Room was awesome, very quiet, awesome balcony, a large soaker tub in the room. Very clean lobby and room. Was there Friday until Monday morning. There was a teenage girls hockey team staying as well, the room was still quite. Sunday night we basically had the whole hotel to ourselves. The ones working the front desk went beyond and had offered and prepared breakfast for us. That was so amazing. The service was exceptional!! Also booked a couple's massage at the spa that is in the hotel. They provided exceptional customer service as well. All around great stay.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. I arrived early as my partner had a conference in the area that I could not attend. I called before my arrival and the gentleman said they would try their best but it wasn’t guaranteed (understandable!!). I arrived a few hours early and the gentleman at the front desk told me my room was already ready (I was fully willing to wait and read in the lobby). He had called the cleaning staff earlier that morning to make sure the room was ready a little early. Little gestures go a long way.. well done. Very impressed 10/10

Very nice room. Clean, modern with a comfortable bed. Had a room facing the lake with a good view. Enjoyed complimentary "S'mores" in the evening. Had a very young bartender that didn't know how to mix drinks. I was charged almost $25 just for 2 mixed drinks. Other than that, we really liked the place and enjoyed our stay.
