I was very disappointed. Hot tub not working. Vending machine not working. Juice machine not working. Breakfast sparse and lacking many things. Building access limited to one door. No info provided at check in like pool hours, breakfast hours, etc.

Place is shabby, pool is closed but staff are sincerely wonderful and the place is clean even if it is dated. Very worth it as a budget hotel but the images are old because it looks way older in person.

I should have read the reviews. Went mainly for the hot tub and pool. Pool was ice cold and hot tub not working. Look at some reviews and the hot has been broken for quite some time. Ended up leaving and going back home.

The pool was out of service with no warning. Would have booked elsewhere if I’d had k own my son was very disappointed. Also room door did not easily close and have to be pulled shut to lock which seemed very sketchy. Overall building was very dated compared to other America inns I’ve stayed at and there were no washrooms for any conman areas. To top it off the flag in the parking lot was tattered do a disappointing state.

Upon arrival their key card machine was broken. We had to have the front desk open our door for us the whole 2 day stay. Our reserved room was given to someone else ( we checked in about 4:30pm) so we were put a handicap room and the shower had mold and missing grout. The pool was cloudy. The breakfast had cheese omelets that were hard, no regular coffee, all the tables were dirty. The second morning we ate away. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

It smelled of smoke and was musty. Everything was old and worn out. Shower temp was either scalding hot or cold. Cleaning supplies left in the room. Bar soap left in the shower. The management was very nice.

Quiet, super clean, and easy to check -in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well as flexible when it came to me checking out late. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making my weekend so enjoyable!

The pool was an ok size and we got lucky enough that our kids were the only ones in there. As far as the rooms—they definitely need maintenance. The shower/bathroom had mold in it, there was only one entrance to the hotel which was frustrating when coming in and out, the room smelled like it had been smoked in and the atmosphere outside—not the hotels fault—was not the greatest. There was a car parked just past the parking lot with the doors wide open, junk falling out, almost wondered if there was someone living out of it. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again for the price we paid just due to the cleanliness.

Had to wade thru cigarette smoke from staff outside to get to lobby. Then wait for clerk to check us in. Then Upon opening the door the musty smell was so strong it made our eyes water. Could NOT close bathroom door! Our door to room took a good effort to latch.

Absolutely Disgusting! Pubic Hair in the bathroom. The Room had been smoked in by cigar. My guest had a bath in room 219 the plumbing overflow drain leaked to the room below. Extremely Dangerous as lighting wiring is installed in ceiling. The manager confronted my guest and accused him of letting the bath overflow. After inspection it was apparent that there was no water on the floor. It was the plumbing that was disconnected. The next manager accused him again of letting the bath overflow. My guest is lucky he was not electrocuted.

This facility has been poorly maintained. There are supplies laying freely about in Customer areas (not housekeeping but think broken lamps and other clutter). The room itself had very poor repairs done, beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, musty smell, broken window.

The room heater did not work properly. The windows leaked cold air. There was a sheet and a thin blanket on the bed. Two of the pillows were half the size of normal pillows. The full length mirror was taped together as it has been previously broken. The tub surround has been siliconed using a paint brush. And there were medical diabetic stickers on the back of the washroom door. The place needs to be gutted.

The location was perfect for me. The building was warm and inviting in the public areas. The staff were great. I had to ask them for extra attention a few times and they were great in providing it. The breakfast was very good. The room was cheaply decorated but it housed me. The wi-fi in my room was terrible, slow and weak, and the staff simply told me I was in dead zone. I used the computer in the lobby and its mouse pad really impeded the mouse. I got what I most needed, a room to sleep in and good service from the staff.

Staff was rude and in order to get clean towels, you had to take them to the front desk. Other hotels I have stayed at when I stay more then 1 night replace bath towels without have to ask or take your dirty to the front desk to get clean. My daughter locked our keys in the room and staff acted like we were criminals and made snide remarks when asking for a new card for room. the only door you could go in was the front door as all other doors were locked and did not have a key entry. our room was at the opposite end of the hotel as the main door

The rooms where manageable & the so called breakfast was terrible. The receptionists were very unfriendly & dismissive. Paid for 3 nights & arrived early at 12noon from Vancouver because I had a hockey game. Asked if I can check in early but they refused, I begged them if I can leave my luggage somewhere until they check me in but they were dismissive & insisted that I pay $50 usd. I pleaded & they later accepted $30 USD & they checked me in. It's not about the money it's just their attitude, very unfriendly. Even after staying for 2 days I went to ask if they have an airport shuttle I can pay for & their response was rude, "call an uber or lift!" & the guy just ignored me. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The room was nice and kept properly. When we tried to check in the woman at the desk was very curteous and told us someone was in our room and she talked about an early check in fee which we didnt mind doing she was nice enough to put us in a different room for a few hours because we had just rode a bus for 13 hours and and didnt make us pay the early fee which we had already agreed to do out of the kindness of her heart the next day a different woman was at the desk and got a little rude about our room still not being ready when we were turning in the key for the temporary room and ended up following us outside about the 25 dollar fee which we wouldve paid anyways becuase we had already prepaid 400 dollars i just dont understand why she had to be rude about it.

Called hotel midday to let them know i was checking in late due to airline delaying flight several hours. Arrived at hotel about 1:30 am. No one was there at desk. Waited 10 min. Called. No answer. Left voicemail. Waited 10 min called corporate 800 number. They did not get anyone to answer. Waited 10 min then went to Country Inn and Suites and they had desk person. Went to bed. Chatted with hotels.com agent worried desk person was murdered or robbed at Americinn. Took 20 more min till mgr finally responded and called me back. He asked if i was nearby to come back. Said no and i dont want to be billed for the room. Today they refused to credit me. Will never ever book AmericInn again.

The lady at front desk was very helpful and courteous. The room had a very strong wall plug in air freshener and I have allergy issues to strong scents. It made things a little miserable. The lighting was not great in the vanity or entry areas. The location was very nice. We did not use the pool. The pricing is outrageous everywhere right now, so can’t really fault them for high prices.

When you pull in to the property there were abandon cars people living in them it seemed. Abandon carts and junk on the side of the building. As soon as you walked in the front door it smells like people are smoking right there. You walked by rooms and people were fully living in them. The rooms are not what to expect. Outdated, dirty sheets and odor covered with a febreeze plug in. If you want a pool I wouldn’t suggest swimming, adults were wearing full clothing and the water was not clean. Breakfast was sub par there was barely any selections. I would spend extra money to stay somewhere else!

I was there during a winter storm. The wall unit heater in my room blew cool air. When I reported this the person at the desk responded with "I\'ll tell the manager.". I only stayed 1 night. The breakfast consisted of VERY burnt sausage, some kind of eggs and a waffle making machine that didn\'t work. I don\'t recommend.

The people in the next room were very noisy. Had TV blaring until very late Friday and Saturday night. Called the front desk after midnight. They did go and talk to them and they turned tv way down and then turned it off. Lots of doors slamming especially Sunday night. Bed was not that comfortable. Monday breakfast consisted of small I guess you’d call the omelets?? No meat. No cream cheese for bagels. I don’t think we would stay there, again.
