Check in was nice. We were able to check in easily. The room was not properly cleaned. The sheets were stained. The carpet was dirty with stains. The bathroom ceiling above the shower was crumbling

They closed the restaurant and turned the restaurant into a funeral home and crematorium. Pool was drained. Had a deep stench in the halls and room. Bedding was stained and dead bugs were found all around the room.

The hotel owner was pleasant upon my arrival. However, that was the only positive thing about this hotel. It is old and run down. The room was as clean as it could be but there were stains in the carpet and the tub was not very clean. There were plenty of clean towels and hot water. The bed was clean and comfortable. The AC worked properly but it was noisy. The swimming pool was empty and although they did have a guest laundry the drier was not working and it appeared that it had been broken for a long time. I will not stay at this hotel again.

For a hotel attached to a funeral home, I'm not sure what I was expecting. The room had a very strong musty smell upon walking in. The carpets were dirty and had clearly not been cleaned in some time. There were dead bugs on the walls. There was mold and chipping paint in the shower. About the only thing that was clean was the beds and sheets. The pool looks like it has been closed for some time. The "breakfast" is literally just two kinds of cereal. At least the staff were willing to refund me for my second night, which I decided to cancel about five minute after checking in. Do yourself a favor and stay in Montevideo or Willmar.
