This was a great hotel for a family trip. The kids loved the waterpark, arcade and restaurant. We appreciated the option to bring our dog. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had no complaints.

This is a great hotel for a family get away. Kids eat free in the restaurant and a great pool area. Only real criticism is the arcade is lacking any real "games" and is mostly just different claw machines and similar games and they are over priced based on my experience with other games of that ilk. But overall this is a great place in a great location with a multitude of restaurants/shopping options, etc. only a couple minute drive away.

The front desk staff were awesome, the room was nice, but there was food garbage under our bed. Other than that it was a very nice hotel/ pool area. Only other thing I would recommend is more garbage cans in the pool area.

Checked in and out within 15 minutes. King suite smelled like an ash tray and not acceptable for a non smoking room. Not booking this location again. On site staff apologetic and cancelled stay. They handled it well.

Ants in the bathroom, pool and water slide were closed on Christmas, hot tub was full of drunk people and kids. Very disappointed with the price we paid to stay at a hotel with water slide and then have no access. Shower curtain was torn. Towels were stained. Check in and check out was great. Employees were very friendly. It’s unfortunate how this property has gone downhill so fast! For the price, you can stay somewhere much nicer!!

About $50-$60 pricier than neighboring hotels. You’re paying for the pool area, which is entertaining for under 10 yr olds. Otherwise, the hotel is worn down. Several of our bath and pool towels were unraveling, hallways reek of cigarette smoke. Onsite restaurant had sizable menu. Food was better than expected.

We always enjoy this Holiday Inn. The rooms are comfortable, the service is great, and the rooms and pool area are very clean. The only suggestion, is there need to be Handicapped equipped door opening buttons. My husband needs a wheel chair at times, and it is difficult to get through all the doors without them. It is also dififcult manuvering with a full cart without buttons.

Hotel was nice, loved the pool and pool seating area. Tristan was great during check in. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Upon arrival there were feces on the toilet bowl and stains on the shower curtain. Food from the restaurant was great!

One of the best experiences we have had. We took the granddaughters ages 4 and 7 on a little spring break get away for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly rooms and common areas were very clean. The pool area was like a mini water park. Close to the outlet mall and Mall of America.

The pool doesn’t close until 11pm on the weekends- so we had to listen to kids screaming way past our kids bedtimes. And then the same kids ran up and down the hallway knocking on doors. Pool was full of drunk parents who didn’t care about their kids. Staff and room was nice but we wont be back!

We were on the front floor facing the pool area and it was extremely loud until eleven pm. Woke up by eight the next dayby the people at the pool. We spoke to someone at the front desk and apparently the rooms were sold out for weekend. He didnt ofter any other suggestions

When I was comparing "apples to apples" online I had weeded out all except for two or three. looking more in depth at there advertisement, pictures, prices and reviews I came to decide on this one. The Holiday Inn & Suites lakeville by IHG. The main deciding factor was the indoor water park verbiage in the description. After checking into the room and walking down to this water park I come to find out that it is nothing more than a very small pool with one water slide that I couldn't even access. After multiple visits to this so called water park we come to find out that the gate to enter was locked and no one was there. We went down multiple times and the results stayed the same. We stayed there for 3 days. Also the maids never came to the room to clean or exchange towels or replace the coffee. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool, we found out to late that it was loud with kids screaming and yelling as they played in this pool. We shut the sliding glass doors and pulled over the curtains but this did not help. So if you are looking for a hotel with a water park this is not it. If you are looking for a quiet room this is not it. Also if you are okay with seeking out the maids for towels and coffee as well as emptying your own trash, then this is the hotel for you!

I regret having to write this review about our recent Valentine's weekend stay. While this hotel has previously been an excellent family-friendly destination with great amenities and dining options, our most recent experience was unfortunately marred by concerning customer service interactions. Our issues centered around interactions with an overnight staff member named Erica. There were multiple instances where the service fell well below expectations: first, during a pre-stay call to confirm our Expedia reservation, and later when requesting an extra blanket during our stay. Most troublingly, she hung up on my daughter during one of these interactions. Given the hotel's reputation for family hospitality and our room rate exceeding $250 per night, this level of service was particularly disappointing. As frequent visitors to the Twin Cities area, we've always appreciated this hotel's family-oriented atmosphere and convenient amenities. However, the unprofessional and dismissive treatment we received has given us pause about future stays. While one staff member doesn't define an entire establishment, customer service is crucial in the hospitality industry. I would strongly encourage management to address this situation through additional training or other appropriate measures. The area has many family-friendly accommodation options, and we hope this feedback helps maintain the high standards we've previously experienced at this location.

The staff were all excellent but one in particular stood out. The lady that was watching the pool area and waterslide couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. She made the stay for our son one to remember.

Booked a 2 queen room 2 months before. When we arrived I was told they overbooked at put us in a room with a king bed and a roll away bed for “no extra charge”. Me, my wife and 3 kids. So I had to ask for another roll away bed so 4 of us wouldn’t have to share 1 bed. Roll always were terrible. Floor was more compfort able. The blanket that provided zero warmth. When the beds were set up there was zero room to even walk around the room. Then at 3 am we all woke up to some sort of party gone wrong. Screaming, yelling ect. Cops finally showed up after about an hour. No rest. Terrible stay. Won’t be back.

We accidentally left 2 shopping bags at the back entrance when loading the car and forgot about them until much later that day. When I called the front desk they had them in the office and had even taken the wet swimsuits out and hung them to dry.

Check-in staff very friendly and helpful, hotel does not have a restaurant but they work with Rudy’s Redeye Grill for all meals. Kids eat free but kids menu is very limited, we had dinner and it was great, breakfast was ok, but slow service. Our room had stuffy smell, outlets in the bathroom are not working, i thought hair dryer was nor working, housekeeping brought a new one in really quick and the new one did not work in the bathroom either, then we checked the outlet by the TV and realized it was the outlet issue. Pool was very nice, kids had a blast. Great place for getting together and having kids playdate.

This was a decent place for kids. I would say the "free" Breakfast was a joke!! For my 11 year old and me to have the breakfast buffet and 1 orange juice each it cost $25. So i wouldn't spend another dime in that place. For some reson there was a $7 room fee added to my bill as well. I guess i should have questioned this, but i was in a rush. Pretty disapointing!! Also the beds and bedding were very uncomfortable
