Super 8 by Wyndham Luverne

It was expensive for what it was. It's an aging property that apparently had water issues. Superficial repairs left a musty odor. The unattended entry door had a non-functional card entry lock and often failed to even close. Windows very unsecure. Electric wiring appeared very old. Outside looked old and in need of TLC.

Building looked run down. Had an attached building that was vacant and in disrepair.

We got to the hotel and it smelled terrible. We got up to our room and there were only two small, flat pillows on the queen sized bed. We called for more and were told that they didn’t have any extras in the entire hotel, which was very concerning because it made us uncomfortable sleeping there and it did not seem that the pillows ever got washed or replaced because of this. The towels were discolored and seemed dirty. The bathtub was also dirty. The room and hotel as a whole stunk like urine. The TV only sometimes worked. There were stains on the wall in the room. We went to the ice machine and the front desk lady told us there wasn’t any ice and it didn’t work. The reservation said there was continental breakfast and there was not anything at all for breakfast. The staff were unhelpful and we left as soon as possible.

Upon arrival the place looked abandoned. There was abandoned cars in the parking lot as well as an attached restaurant that hasn't been open in YEARS. the place looked terrible. Our keys didn't work so she had to give us a different room. Our room smelled of mold as soon as we walked in and looked ABSOLUTELY not like the pictures. I asked if we could get a refund and just leave, the clerk said NO because i already paid for it. I felt completely deceived by this listing.

The motel is very old, front door has a sign dont let door slam, then fix it. The key card wasn't working so if you left the front office person would look your room while you were gone. Breakfast was terrible, there was gravy but nothing to put it on. I had a cup of coffee and got the heck out of there.

General: back entry door is not secure. Room 114: window does not lock; room damp; mildew in bathroom; carpet very dorty; shower does not work, and leaks; do not disturb sign was not available so cleaner walked in early and woke us; when we askes to speak to manager we were directed to a man they said was owner, who denied being owner. The quality here was what you could expect for $50/night, not close to $100.

The front door closer broken, it was windy, door uncontrollable. Desk clerk job oriented, not overly friendly. Unfortunately non-refundable reservations. Hallway smelled like sewer. Window in our room did not lock, desk clerk did reverse inside sashes to secure outer window. Only one outlet at the floor at the nightstand, very dirty on floor while plugging in a cord for CPAP. Carpets and bedspreads did not seem clean. Breakfast not diabetic friendly, all carbs. No eggs of any sort, no yogurt. Did have apples. I also rented a room for my son, his tub not clean, tub and bathroom wall had stains. They slept in their clothes. Not sure if I would do Super 8 again.

No covered entrance when it’s raining, which it is now. Entrance is a bit rough with a few potholes, but not too bad. Conveniently right off the freeway so easy access.

The entire building had a stench to it. Out of nine key cards only one worked. The room was dirty, mirror looked like someone spit all over it. The bathroom floor was dirty. Patchwork done was messy ans there was graffiti on the wall that was lifhtly painted over. I slept fully dressed on top of my blanket on the bed and still felt gross!

The bathroom was so dirty that we didn't even take a shower after working in the field all day. Toilet was never cleaned and didn't dare sit on it. So tired otherwise would have found a different hotel. The beds were ok, I guess.

One of the worst motels I've ever stayed at. Room had mold and paint falling of the wall. The safe did not work. No watter pressure and could not maintain a constant temperature, scolding hot to feeezing every few minutes. Very smelly, like mildew, and dirty, our blankets had stains on them. We received a call at 11 stating they could not hold our room unless we gave them our card information over the phone. Hotels.com should remove them as a place to stay.

Very un clean, room smells like drug use and musty. Very poor up keep had wrong size toilet seat on the toilet very run down bathroom paint peeling on the walls stains on the sheets. Electrical in the room was very questionable. If there was other options available would have left and got a different hotel refund or not. Do not pick this hotel

Very smelly, dirty and run down. One of the rooms had bodily fluids filled sheets. The ac was noisy. Outlets were scarce. Breakfast room was a teeny tiny room with no air movement so it was stuffy and hot. The only pro was that in our room we had clean sheets and the water pressure was nice.

Room was extremely musty to the point the toilet had condensation and puddle of water on floor. Bed needed more coverage.

We didn’t stay there rooms had spiders in bathtub sink was not clean my wife refused to stay there.

We were exhausted from driving. When we checked into our room (2 queen beds) i walked between the two beds and badly scraped my ankle. Luckily, it was superficial and it could have been much worse. The bed frame had 3-4 areas that jutted out like swords! My husband and i lifted the box spring to try to center it to prevent further injury. I had already woke up the front deskclerk when we arrived at 1030 pm ao i didnt want to wake her again, most likely, this was not her fault. One of the "blades" from the bed frame could not becovered by the box spring so i placed my suitcase in front of it and made a mental note to try to remember to walk around it if i woke up during the night. When i did lay dawn, i smelled a strong scent of urine next to the wall. I couldnt wait to leave. As far as the front desk clerk, i am a person witha great deal of empathy. I was sorry I woke her up at 1030 pm but the more i think about it, she really didnt have to make me feel bad and tell me how tired she was upon greeting her. It wasnt 2 in the morning...but weve all had bad days and, again, i can empathize with her exhaistion. I think the carpeting in that room should be replaced...as i write this, Ican still smell that acrid, rank room.

Motel looked like it was closed down. First Floor Hallway had just been shampooed. Registration area smelled damp and mildewy. Our room was very hot on arrirval, but did cool down with AC. Everything was very outdated! Not a good experience for us.

Had to evict a few spiders from the bathroom including one in the shower. This place definitely needs to be updated. The ac unit was really struggling. If you just need a place to crash for the night and nothing fancy it works. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was very limited but waffle maker and biscuits and gravy. Cereal and apples.

The building is so so so so old. The manager does their best but some investment really has to be put in for this to be a decent hotel. There was a hole in the tub, which had all kinds of caulking around it from patch jobs. You could feel how soft the floor was under the tub while standing in it. There were barely any outlets so we had to choose between a lamp, a TV, and the fridge being plugged in. No outlets by bed to charge phones or electronic devices.

Situated next to a bar and adjacent to a highway, with loud neighbors, room was noisy. Earplugs helped. Tiny round toilets. Switches in weird places, some of which didn't work. Breakfast had waffles but no protein.

The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The key cards for the room took some time to work but eventually got in the room. There was no hot water in the bathroom so I was unable to shower. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked great. Still not sure if I'd stay here again or not

We were not happy with this hotel. The room was nothing like the picture on the Expedia website. I feel like the website lied to us. Very dissatisfied.

The staff was friendly and helpful. She is an exemptional employee.

The remote didn't work and the tv on button was missing. Found a plasti. Fork behind the bed and my comforter was stained. Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

People were nice, but I stayed for 3 nights and room was only clean once the last night. Had requested clean towels and they never brought them.

Staff was nice and friendly. Rooms were clean.

The room was gross, i was charged by you and again by them…asked for a pet friendly room and they double charged me for that…

Last minute stop. Price was good. Room was good. Restaurant up front, the bull pen was great! Went to the drive in and saw Superman…literally a block away!

The age of the hotel shows but the staff is great! Breakfast room is tiny with just three table and nine chairs but it’s clean and stocked. Looks and feels run down but was fine for an overnight. Towels are very thin and rough. Despite the rundown every staff meme we we encountered was very friendly.
