The parking situation is a hassle. The gentleman at the front desk seemes leas than enthusiastic to help us, and the restaurant kitchen shut down early.

There isn't much parking and they need to mark that better. Staff was great. Hotels.com screwed up our booking. I booked a 2 queen suite and Hotels.com changed it to a king. Not the hotel's fault. They were very nice about it. The room was big and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The property is getting dated. None of the ice machines were working. In my room the carpet in the sink area was saturated with water not sure where it was coming from, we had to change rooms. Staff were helpfu but, not espcially friendly. Hilton should NOT write this property off. Its a convenient location for anything downtown. Great parking lot attached to the hotel. Housekeeping was generally good. Im a little annoyed that the DT Downtown isn't being maintained better.

Parking in the ramp was terrible. Our truck barely fit. The parking spaces are small and tight. It's an additional $32 a night to park. Front desk staff was less than friendly. It was like every guest was a bother to the girls at the counter. Rude to every guest I witnessed them check in. No AC. Our room was hot even with temps outside being in the 50s-60s. Windows opened a crack but that's all. These are suites and there was no bedding in the room for the pullout couch. We went to a concert and returned around midnight. Multiple families waiting at the front desk to get "a kit" (as they called it) for the pullout couch. Didn't even have a bottom sheet to put on the mattress. No handles on exit doors to get in or out. Have to use the handicap button to get the door to open. What happens if the power goes out? When you're in the elevator you have to use your room key to "unlock" the elevator to get you to any of the floors so make sure you have your key card at all times. There is no free breakfast. The restaurant in site wasn't open on a Tuesday night. Front desk didn't tell us about any of the ammenities available, which I'm sure they didn't, because there are none. No pool or hot tub. Spend a few extra bucks and book elsewhere. It'll be worth it. We made the best of it, but so many other guests complained as well. Glad I wasn't the only one who felt the same way. I should have listened to the poor reviews I read prior to our stay. Never again.

You can tell that this DoubleTree is quite old. The front desk staff made us feel rushed, didn't have any information about the restaurant and wasn't helpful in finding information for us. The building itself was run down. The cooler in the grab and go amenity was broken and so there were no beverages available. The restaurant on site initially told us they were open at 4pm, but then at 4:08PM, they told us 4:30 pm. The ice machine on our floor was broken. There was no full length mirror in the room and overall the entire hotel was so warm. Way too warm. We opening our window in March in MN so we could sleep comfortably. I will not stay here again.

Literally nothing works in this hotel. We were stuck at the parking ramp entrance for 15-20 minutes trying to get in. We tried calling support using the help option at the kiosk and it didn’t work. We called the hotel and they sent someone out who didn’t know what was wrong or how to fix it. Thankfully she was able to manually let us in so we could park. When we tried to leave the parking ramp the next morning, that kiosk didn’t work either and we were stuck in the garage. The AC was out in the hotel and we weren’t told until we were checking in. Ice machines only worked on two floors of the whole hotel. Would not recommend. Staff working the night shift were very friendly and helpful with the parking and check in situation, but overall, hotel was not in good working order and was not a pleasant place to stay.

No air conditioning on a hot day in March. I was told to open the windows and turn the thermostat off because it's an old building. They offered a fan. We had to go back inside upon leaving to get the parking garage us out. The shampoo and conditioner was out. The fridge was broken and they told me to give it another hour after we already had given it an hour. They said they would replace the fridge the next day and never did. The revolving front door was broken. The ice machine on our floor was broken. No sheets were on the pull out couch bed. The elevators smelled like strong stanky weed although they did try to put air freshener. The towels were lovely and so was the shower head.

The rooms were fine, but the main floor wasnt heated, and the bar and restaurant were not open or available. Which was a big reason I booked this hotel in the first place. The elevators we shady, and the front door was broken and not usable. Just hugky disappointing since we planned on those things.

I was disappointed in the fact that i was paying for my Hotel room and had to pay $30 to park. Also there was garbage in the bathroom garbage can. Otherwise it was fine. Also the pipes had froze and burst, so no ice, or food. Except stuff you could microwave.

I checked into this hotel on 8/5. Upon getting to the room, it was extremely HOT, even though the A/C was set to 74. I immediately turned it down and there was a slight change but the AC NEVER turned off during my entire stay due to the room temperature not meeting the desired reading I set on the thermometer. The bathroom was filthy. There was stoned hand print on railings of toilets, tubs, and sink. There was substance marks in the walls. I did not complain to staff as I was not in my room for long periods due to be out for my conference. THat being said I will NOT stay here again and do not recommend it.

Elevators were disgusting. Bathroom was dirty. Pee stains on the hidebed sofa. No room clean service while staying we were told. One lady was super sweet, the other was rude AF.

Completely gross rm. We arrived later in the day on a Sat. I noticed the bathroom wasn't very clean, garbage in the can and no holder for the toilet paper roll and just kinda dirty but we were tired and at first glance the rest of the rm looked ok so we thought it would be fine since we were just staying the night. The next am when packing to leave next to the bed and around curtains and corners and by couch we found containers with old food dirty kleenixs and other garbage. We informed the desk who said that it was unnaceptable but they could not refund as it was through expedia, but we should definately contact expedia and get the refund. She did refund us for parking and was friendly. Of course once we got home and contacted expedia the hotel denied the refund. I have never asked for a refund from a hotel ever before, but this was completely gross and unaceptable! Would never stay again or reccomend.

This hotel ruined my memories for Hotels. It was nasty , disgusting, Filthy they didn't clean our room from day we checked in until the day we checked out. We even requested the rooms to be cleaned and they didn't even bother. They left our rooms open and not even clean. We had to change some of the sheets because they had blood stains and big brown spots. We had to vacuum our rooms 12:00am with a broken vacuum. I would not even let my enemies stayed at this double Three . The carpet was nasty that we had to have socks on at all times and throw them away because how brown they were. The elevators and lobby both smelled weed. There were so many teenagers and young people that they were smoking in the elevator and hallways. I only stayed there because it was close to the hall were my brother was having his wedding and we were too many that I had no time to look for a hotel, but I wish that I left the first day. I had three rooms my sister had two rooms and small kids. People were checking out left to right. They only had two employees one security and on for front desk. One the employees cried when I brought them sheets and billows that was in our rooms. I have pictures I emailed the two so called managers they have. I even talked to Dustin in person and he told me to Expedia.

Mold on bathroom ceiling Comforter was dirty when we arrived. Had to ask to have trash emptied

Unfortunately we found bed bugs in our first room. Both beds and on the floor. The staff did move us rooms but the second room the lights didn’t work, so we had to move a third time. Despite checking our third room with a fine tooth comb my friend still woke up with welts on her body so we are not sure if our third room had bed bugs as well. Probably will not stay here again but again staff was helpful

The room was very dirty and unkempt. In need of paint and remodel

We only stayed one night so didn’t complain but really should have. The hot water faucet was stripped and had to push down and turn to get hot water. Toilet was iffy if it would or wouldn’t flush had to lift the lid and have it fill and then try again to flush. Room was so hot!! Had it set down to 60 but never cooled off and made sleeping horrible. Went to take a shower to cool off and someone else’s long hair was on the shower wall. Very disappointed for a Doubletree HH property.

Outside of location and staff, there is nothing to boast about regarding this hotel. Hilton should be ashamed. To charge for parking when you are already paying to stay is ridiculous. Hotel looks like it hasn't been remodeled in 20 years. Toilet was sloped to one side. Black mold all over the shower tiles. Hot water in shower has to be turned on for 10 minutes prior to getting in just to warm it up. At that point you either burn yourself or turn it down and you freeze. Coffee tasted weird, only to discover that it was the mold growing inside the coffee maker in the room. Mini-fridge froze everything inside. Several beverages exploded due to this. Had to open windows in the room because it was too hot because their was only heat. Windows were caked with mold from the moisture. Water dripping from the ceiling in the lobby for 2 days. At first, they used a bucket to collect the drips. By checkout there were buckets and full sized trash cans there. The front foyer had plastic sheets taped off due to a broken window. Hard to believe Hilton is represented by this.

I had a beautiful room, actually three rooms which included a separate living room. Both the bedroom and living room had big flat screen TVs, although the channel selection was minimal which didn;t even include ESPN. The location is good being within walking distance of the central city and Target Field. No included breakfast but there's a decent diner a few blocks away.

It was so incredibly hot in our room despite the fact we had the thermostat set to 60. None of us slept and we couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning.

Rooms are very spacious but the property needs work… had to change rooms three times due to lack of AC.

Could not get the room to cool down at night. The bed was very hard. The pillows were way too soft. The bathroom was so small that you either had to go to the bathroom with the door open. I’ll go to the bathroom with it completely closed the roof smelled There were no trash cans but one of the bathroom. The food in the dining room is very limited these chairs and boost sync when you sat, but all the staff was very fun.

Room was large, nice for a family of 5. Beds were not Queen sized, but full so that was a bit tight. Enjoyed having the gym close by. Walked to the Vikings and TimberWolves games. Ubers & Lyfts were close by and easy to access.

He was consistently rude when approached with questions, notably when I inquired about the non-functional internet in my room for nearly a day. His response was dismissive, claiming that the hotel didn't control the internet as another company managed it. He didn't even make an effort to understand the issue. As a result, my family and I had to endure nearly ten days without internet access during our stay.

You get what you pay for, as they say. It's an OK place to stay, conveniently located downtown. There was an issue with my room temp but was (eventually) given a different, warmer room (initially being offered extra blankets). Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The space is great with the suites if you hold that it is a 60 yo building. With an early Spring, it was quite warm and they cannot switch to air until May. With the windows open, the room was good to sleep in. The wifi was great and the staff very helpful. The location was very good to get to places in town with walkable restaurants nearby.

Everything seemed dirty and run down, very disappointing for a Doubletree, usually they're reliably clean and well kept. I would not stay here again.

Front desk friendly and helpful. 15min walk to sporting venues and First Ave. Parking ramp attached to hotel and come and go for $30 parking was nice. Front entrance was a tight fit so expect to walk with luggage from parking ramp down to corner entrance door thru rmap gates. Breakfast is made to order for $17+. Have to use your room key to use elevators. A nice added safety feature. Breakfast is 6-9 and Cafe 57 restruant is from 5 to 10p. Didnt eat at either so cant speak for them but they are pricey. $15 burger or $25 fish. Room has tall mini fridge and a microwave. Rooms were very quiet. Highly recommend this place.

Property was okay, we had issues with the hot water in our room which was unfortunate. The staff other than 1 person (Jen) was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I would never stay here again solely because of how horrible the staff was. If I were the building manager I would consider retraining the staff on customer service and how to run the building.

I booked a room for 6 people two month in advance and when I arrived to check in was told that they overbooked rooms, so that they could only offer me a room for 4 people. Management was absolutely terrible, and didn’t even apologize for the terrible service, and overbooking multiple large groups. After an hour and half of waiting, we were finally provided with the original room we booked. I was one of many groups that has to experience this same issue. After we got to our room, we weren’t provided with the necessary covers for the beds and the bathroom only had two towels. I went to the front desk to request blankets and towels and the front desk lady was incredibly rude, as if providing customers with the necessary items was an inconvenience to her day. Terrible service, terrible stay, terrible management. I will never stay here again. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I never leave reviews so that’s saying something.

The hotel itself was nice however the check in process was horrible. Check in was at 4 pm and we checked in our our Hilton App earlier so we were just waiting for our digital key. The lobby was filled with people waiting for their rooms to be ready - at least 100 people. The front desk staff were trying their best but there were only 2 of them and most of the time only 1 of them was helping with the line of people. It was the 2nd night of the Taylor Swift concert so I understand there was a lot of room room turnover, but also feel if you can’t handle the turnover, you shouldn’t keep booking rooms. We finally got our room at 5:45 pm. Room was clean however there was no bedding for the pullout couch so we called down to the front desk after the concert around 12:30 a.m. and they were too busy checking people in (the ones that didn’t get their room before they had to leave for the concert) so they had to call me back. We ended up using a sheet from the other bed and trying to go to sleep. We also only had 3 towels to use for 6 people - tried calling the front desk but they didn’t answer. This may have been an anomaly because of the concert but I won’t choose this hotel in the future.

Unclear where to check in vs where to park. Staff hung up on us twice while asking for help. At checkin staff was dismissive and rude. The bed didn’t have a blanket on it upon arrival; had to request it 3 times before getting a blanket 90 minutes later. Housekeeping brought us items we didn’t request. It was a convenient location to restaurants but overall the experience was negative.

My family and I just checked out of this hotel yesterday morning. We were in town for our family reunion. I WILL NEVER STAY at this place again. The only reason I've giving 2 Stars, is because the ladies working on Thursday, July 24th after 3pm were so polite!!! Checking in was ok-- the crazy $250 hold was crazy. Second of all we checked in around 2pm-ish and got to our room, called down to the front desk a little after 3pm to ask for 2 extra big and small towels, pillows, sheets and blankets for the pull-out sofa, we didn't receive any service until after 7pm. After about an hour of waiting, I did go downstairs to the front desk to just grab them, thinking maybe they were just busy and I didn't mind just carrying them to back to my room. Got downstairs and the receptionist was very very nice and informed me that she could give me the towels, however, they do not have access to the pillows, blankets or sheets. I said, "oooookkkkk and I guess we'll wait." Mind you we can't use the sofa without beddings (I have small children with me). Next issue, EVERY FREAKING ICE MACHINE ON EVERY FLOOR DOES NOT WORK! My 5 yr old and I literally went to every floor...and nothing! Finally went back downstairs and asked, "Why are all the ice machines not working?" No reason given, but I was then told that there is a bar and they can give me ice. Ok cool, got my ice. Parking is $30 for no apparent reason! We're from out of town so we don't the downtown situation. No parking security whatsoever.

If y’all don’t give my girl Kelly the biggest raise ever I will change my review. She is your saving grace and constantly went above and beyond. We were in town for a huge softball tournament. Kelly let us check in a couple hours early and made sure we were on a quiet floor and away from the elevators. A couple days in, we asked for the room to be cleaned a little (just asked for beds to be done up, more towels and for the nightstand to be cleaned up because I had found some questionable stuff around it. We asked two days in a row and it wasn’t until Kelly was back at work that anything got done. I’ll give the hotel a 3/5 stars (cleanliness is the biggest factor), but Kelly is a 10/5 star employee. I’m so serious. @Hilton Give her a raise, employee of the month, year, decade. You can’t afford to lose her.

No one cleaned our room the entire time we were there and we stayed for 3 nights. There wasn’t a sign that said call for cleaning. We had to change rooms when we got there as well as the first room wreaked of smoke. The front desk staff was also rude and other staff were sitting in the lobby eating chicken drumsticks and socializing

Our room was not ready at 4:20 so we had to wait. Then there system went down so we waited some more! Then when the system did come up they started giving the new people coming in the rooms, and we were still waiting. I final ask about our room and they gave me my key. Total wait time was a little over an hour and would have been longer had I not asked about our room.

Clean rooms and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and Target Field.

This Hilton property is convenient to entertainment venues and restaurants. Not as nice as other Hilton properties in downtown Minneapolis.

Super great location downtown Minneapolis

Great hotel downtown. We attended events at both Target Field and US Bank Stadium and both were easily walkable. There were also plenty of food and drink options in the area. The hotel was very accommodating and provided me with a late checkout when I had a later flight and stored my luggage for me until I had to go to the airport.

Conveniently close to conference center

It was a great & comfortable place for travelers visiting the convention center. It was walkable to places like Target, large indoor mall, & food vendors along the way to the CC. My only complaint was how long it took for us to check in. It was well into late afternoon b4 we got our room.

Great property for trips to downtown Minneapolis. Walking distance to everything downtown. Decent gym.

Restaurant was open early Sunday morning for a coffee before we headed home.

Hotel was in a good location within walking distance to many things including restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was available for purchase on site which was nice. Bathroom and bedroom area were very clean. Hot water was shut off to the sink and only cold water available however shower did have hot water.

Staff had bad attitudes and not hospitable at all! No food choices and the on site restaurant was inconsistent with the hours. $18 for breakfast and it wasn’t worth it! Coffee,Cookie and free water was the best thing about the stay. I would not recommend this hotel as there are other options in the area.

Entire hotel was understaffed. Service was unbelievable slow and everyone looked overworked. Restaurant food was poor quality. I'd say I expect more from a Double tree. But honestly, I don't.

I had higher expectations for this hotel than i should of. Had to pay for anything extra basically nothing was complementary besides wifi. Had to pay if you wanted breakfast, parking, didn’t have a vending machines with drinks so had to get the expensive ones by the front desk and only could charge them to the room. Couch cushions were stained and had some holes in it. There wasn't any blankets for the couch bed in the room. Overall it was alright but for the price i expected more so i don't know if i'd stay here again.

Lady at front desk very friendly and helpful. Stations on t.v. went off the air for some reason. For a high end place no extras. Such as pool for the kids, breakfast, etc. But very secure and clean. And had to pay for parking.
