Simple, clean, no frills place! Breakfast fit the bill for my family and kids, the pool water was warm. Hot tub wasn’t working but that didn’t bother us, the rooms are small, clean and a good value!

Rating was affected by the fact the property was in the middle of a renovation. The lobby seating area and breakfast areas were closed. There were construction materials stacked around in places, spacers beret floor tiles that had not been grouted yet, etc. I would guess the property will be in great shape once the project is completed. The front desk staff was very friendly.

The staff member who checked me in was wonderful—very friendly and kind. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The hot tub was open until 11 PM, and the breakfast was good. I got a great deal at $100 per night. Highly recommend!

We had to ask for sheets twice. First time stained sheets with holes and the second time holes in the sheets again. The management was considerate but no one wants to sleep in stained or holy sheets.

The place could use some maintenance. Vacuum, Broom, some paint. The floors throughout the common areas had a lot of litter. 2 days in a row. The furniture in my room was pretty beat up. Walls are pretty banged up throughout the facility, doesn't look good. Staff was friendly.

On the positive side: Bedding was comfortable and room quiet. Breakfast was nice and check in was easy. On the negative side: Carpet was wet by air conditioner. Bathroom door did not fit right and was hard to open/close. Ventilation fan in bath was louder than it should be. Could use a hook for a towel on bare wall close to shower.

This has been our place to stay when we visit family in the area but this stay was not as comfortable as it has been in the past. We constantly had issues with our room keys and had to return to desk to get new keys almost every time we returned to our room. The key always worked to the fitness room but never to our room. Also the room heater constantly made an annoying noise when it turned on and tried to heat the room. We alerted the management and a service guy was sent to check on it but it was never fixed so we just turned it off entirely and had to hope that the room would maintain its heat for comfort. Typically this is an excellent location and stay for us; it is very clean; very friendly front desk and awesome breakfast lay out.

The property just seemed like the frontline workers took pride in what they did, whereas the owners/management were trying to squeeze every dollar they could out of the property. The reason I would think this is the little things that were observed: shower curtain rail hanging, shower curtain ripped, old tv's (remote broken) with a marginal cable service, worn bedspreads, and well-worn furniture.

Everything aside from check-in and the first hour there was fine. The front desk staff issued a second set of key cards to another guest, who accessed our room 30 minutes after we had checked in (and while changing to go prepare for a wedding). The other couple was kind and understanding, but it was a bit embarrassing and a big security concern in my view, considering people travel with expensive electronics, cash, sometimes firearms, etc. The pool and hot tub were nice and breakfast was a good touch as well!

The room was great. I'm surprised it's undergoing a complete upgrade. I've stayed in many hotels that were in poor shape and weren't being upgraded. The breakfast is awesome too. The most impressive thing is the staff though. To a person, every single staff member is amazing. So personable and accommodating!

It took over 25 min to check in. It was insane. The lady spent over 10 min looking at "her notes" about how to check someone in, then another 15 min trying to figure out the printer. Absolutley unacceptable

Disturbances from next room until 4am gave us not even close to a restful night’s sleep. Notified desk at midnight and they followed up, but 5 minutes later it resumed. I would expect another follow up by staff to make sure it was resolved but was not done. Room was just down the hall from front desk, so easy to check on. Paid for a room that we got little value for and most likely would never stay here again. Property was clean and staff friendly enough, but did not serve this customer properly

Last minute, at midnight I had to book this room and when I arrived I had realized that I had left my ID at an establishment earlier and couldn’t get it at that time. I understand that and ID is needed, however I had a scanned copy and other documentation to prove it was me. But the front desk person was very rude and unwilling to look at my digital ID and documents. He stated that there was nothing he could do for me and that it was my problem. I asked if we could call a mgr or supervisor to ask for assistance and he stated that he was the mgr and it was his decision and there was nothing he could do. It was 2 am and I was on my motorcycle so I asked in I can stay for a bit to warm up in the lobby, he say for 30 mins and then I had to go. He proceeded to ignore me the rest of the time. I had to sleep outside next to my motorcycle during a 40 degree night. Will not be staying nor recommending your location to friends or family.

There was a technical problem which landed us with keys to the wrong room, then with keys which did not open the correct room, and finally with the correct keys. The staff member, who was helping us, was excellent and patient with explaining what was happening. Your front desk staff is very good. At check out, we had loaded some of our bags and were leaving for the elevators. A person from the cleaning crew had assumed that we had vacated the room, but we still had family members in the room. Please, don't make assumptions; verify that we have left and then enter and clean. Always knock, just in case your assumption is wrong. If you suspect someone is vacating their room, just ask them, don't assume. This hotel will need some gentle upgrades to the furniture in the rooms, to the doors (some squeak), and overall it does not appear clean but rather a little neglected.

We have family that live in River Falls, but this is the second time we have stayed at this location. Close to the freeway and shopping and restaurants. We will be back. If you stop here check out the Lakewood Tavern!

The hotel was nice, as well as the hot breakfast. Had a good variety of breakfast options… Just wish they also offered bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon for breakfast?!? The staff was extremely friendly & accommodating. The indoor pool/hot tub area, was very clean. Will most likely stay here again on my next visit.
