The breakfast was great, especially the omelettes. I wish they would not use styrofoam plates though. Gym was clean and well-equipped. Everything worked. The room was spacious and the bed was so clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Parking was easy - with an EV an Tesla charger. Coffee was pretty good as far as hotel coffee goes and was conveniently located to access Minneapolis. Super safe neighborhood and a quick walk to the Tavern, which had good food.

It was nice that there were two televisions in the room so that all of us could watch together. I like that there was a fan in the bathroom. The large pool was rather cool. There was plenty of room in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the slide in the splash pad, but there was a stub on the rubber landing mat at the bottom of the slide. My son hurt his foot on that. We enjoyed the breakfast, with lots of protein available. It was unfortunate that breakfast didn't start until 7am on Saturday

The room was great!! But the reason we got the room was to use the pool and hot tub. Hot tub was broke. Sure they would tell ya when some of the amenities are down.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool and hot tub. COLD!! Not like a little but a lot the “hot tub” was anything but. When you turned the jets in cold water literally came out. Was excited for the breakfast buffet but nothing any roach motel serves for less prices room. Rooms were clean staff was friendly. Super bummed about the pool. It was literally the only reason we didn’t stay across the parking lot at Sheraton.

I stayed on the second floor and I could hear the people above me walking which made it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during my stay. The gym was nice and clean.

The rooms are very clean, the hotel overall is fabulous. The pool and hot tub on the other hand are very dirty. Disappointing considering the rest of the hotel is kept to a high standard.

We have stayed here multiple times over the last few years but this time it was nasty. Shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, hair in sheets when pulled back, sofa in room was absolutely disgusting with filth. Water marks in the counters. Just felt so nasty sleeping here and showering here

Room itself ok. Bathroom tub was old the grout was very dirty. Wallpaper next to tub peeling off and dirty and sheet coming off also. Free breaskfast not much to choose from. Hotels usual have bagels and more fruit they didn't.Been in a lot of hotels over our travels never would stay there again.

Our stay was 5 nights and overall good. Quite nights. Even when there was a large group of kids one night and a teen sports team another. Breakfast was good lots of choices. Hotel and room was clean with 2 exceptions. Corners of shower and carpets. You can definitely tell the carpet in halls and stairs need a cleaning. I always wear a soft slipper in hotel rooms. I’ve never seen them that dirty. Also they definitely need new pillows. They make them into squares and tuck the end of the pillow cases so they have a little fullness and are half the size. We went to Costco and purchased cheap pillows.

I’m unsure why no one would clean or tidy my room. I stayed for 4 nights and never had someone replenish towels or vacuum or replace toilet paper or cups. Otherwise it’s a decent place

We have been staying at this La Quinta every time we’ve visited Woodbury. We’ve never been disappointed. Service is always friendly. The staff genuinely look happy to work there, greeting each other in the hallways. The rooms are clean. It looks like they have switched over to Dove products which I appreciate. They have a great pool and hot tub. The breakfast options were nice - eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins. As long as service and cleanliness continue, this will be our hotel of choice whenever we visit.

Rooms need a deep cleaning. Dirt and grime in all corners. Bathroom exhaust fan looks like it has never been cleaned in room 136. Behind toulet was disgusting. Pool area is over due of a good cleaning. Would have gave it a one star if not for the staff, they were polite and helpful.

1. Hot Tub in pool area was not working properly no air injection working. Just water flow. 2. Refrigerator in RM 430 kinda worked. Could not store food in unit as it would be barely cool. 3. Sink in RM 430 bathroom water slow to drain. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Building smelled clean and was clean. Kudos to cleaning staff!! Beds were comfortable still don't understand small square pillows.

We booked this for a staycation so the kids could enjoy some pool time and we were not disappointed! Decided to book the queen suite so there was some room. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable, which is to be expected, so we just doubled up in the queen beds and had a slumber party. The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and fresh with Minnesota inspired decor. Breakfast was pretty standard, but made well (no watery eggs).

We had the rudest people in the room above. Clomping around all night. Dropping heavy stuff on the floor( weights maybe??), yelling. Extremely noisy. And I’m not a big complainer. I can put up with a bit of annoyance. This was way over the top. It went on from late afternoon to next morning. Last time I looked at time it was 2:45am. None of us got much rest. We did call front desk to complain. Nothing changed. Everything about the room and other facilities was very good. But this will keep me from choosing la Quinta again since they evidently don’t have the resources to deal with noise complaints.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed and furniture were both very comfortable. Really liked the bedding, not too heavy and not too light. There is a leak in the shower pan that creates a bubble of water behind the wall. Maintenance should look at that right away. Also the batteries in the remote are dying. Had to push the button several times for it to work....but it does still work. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and yet very close to the elevator. I do wish the access to coffee and juices would at least stay open after 9am. Some of us drink slowly.

On Thursday afternoon, it sounded as though a large child was jumping off the bed and stomping around the room above ours repeatedly for HOURS. Our room was 228. It spoiled the whole afternoon and we couldn't wait to check out.

Overall the Hotel seemed to be clean and good condition. Some of our curtains were in poor condition though. Service was pleasant. We had 2 queen bed room. The room and bathroom seemed relatively small compared to other hotels but it was adequate for our needs.

We had a sleepless night because we were stage right next to the elevator and hard it going up and down through out the night. We can hear people walking above us and every time they shower or flush the toilet. If you want to sleep quietly not recommend the rooms near the lobby.

I’ve been staying at this place yearly for 6 years. Changed their policy on payment without notice. Not sure if it’s new management but manager never came out to address the problem. Didn’t end up staying this time. It’s a shame bc overall it’s a nice place to stay. Make sure you look at payment policy before you get there

We had such a great time at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Woodbury. We rented four rooms and a party room, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Anytime we needed something, they were right there. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at while traveling, this one has been the best by far. The staff truly makes you feel welcome.

It was good until I went down to use the hot tub only to find that it was closed due to the heater being broken. I had mentioned I was mainly there for the hot tub during the check in, but the reception clerk did not let me know that it was out of order. Not a good way to keep me coming back. I generally stay a few days a year here. I will have to reconsider my next stay.

It was a lovely place but the staff left something to be desired. We asked for a crib that we never received and when I asked for extra pillows the manager on duty said he’d try to find someone and just never brought them up or contacted us.

This hotel is always clean and fresh. The staff at check-in are always super friendly and helpful. The rooms.are always clean and neat and tidy. The bathroom is always very clean. They have several room types available including mobility accessible. We always choose this place when coming up to Woodbury area.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was just okay, the bed was clean and comfortable. The service though— NOT good. Check in was at 4am for us. I called ahead to let them know this was going to be the case (after 3am). They said no problem. We get there and there is no one at the desk. For. 45. Min!! I called 13. Times! He said he waited until 330. Acted like it was no biggie. He did give us free snacks from the grocery area. Then check out 2 days later a different man was not at the desk for over 15 min! I’ve never experienced anything like it. I was exhausted at 4am after a 9hr drive. I wanted to go to bed.

Great location, 15 minutes from the capital. Good clean but er. There are many cafes nearby where you can eat, and breakfasts are available here. There is a swimming pool, gym and parking area. We liked it! We recommend

I loved how close it was to the freeway but also close to so many shopping and dining options. My only complaints are that breakfast was not kept stocked so we had to wait quite a while for the hot food options each day. Also the hot tub was not hot at all. It was the same temperature as the pool which was quite disappointing

We had a nice and quiet evening, even with my kids. Super accommodating for us. My only complaint is breakfast isn't served until 7 am on weekends, which doesn't work when you have to leave by 7 for a tournament.

We had an excellent stay. The kids loved the pool and my husband and I loved the affordability. The free breakfast saved us a lot of time and money. The only con was that since we were there for an extended period of time I hoped to see a better selection at breakfast. Yes it was free and I appreciate that but one can only eat waffles so many days in a row. The eggs changed every day but it was definitely not a breakfast I would have ordered if paying for it. Only reason we ate it was because it was free.
