Quality Inn Near Six Flags St. Louis

Didn't like the no elevator, but understand it was a smaller facility. The building/rooms smelled nice. Although stained furnishings, the room and facility were clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Didn't swim, but pool was clean. Good stay.

Parking was good. Close to our room. Breakfast had choices that even our grandson loved.

Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful! Pool was clean and pleasant temperature, with a bathroom within the pool room, but some of the “clean” pool towels were dirty. Nice area outside to walk dogs, but poop bags were not provided (which is possibly why some guests didn’t clean up after their dogs and we stepped in a fresh pile). Breakfast was lacking options that don’t contain sugar, ultra-processed food, or pork. The room was clean and smelled good; however, the ceiling over the shower was drop-down which is not moisture-proof, so that made me feel concerned about mold (room 117). All throughout the hotel I noticed that rust was being painted over, or little “bandaids” here and there to improve the visual appearance. I never saw a business center, so I’m not sure that the listing photos are accurate. I would stay here again, but bring my own breakfast.

The staff is friendly and the place is nice, only 5 minutes from Six Flags. They don’t have elevators but there’s only a flight of stairs and the breakfast doesn’t offer meat (no eggs, bacon, sausage or even ham).

The staff was exceptional The only thing that wasnt great was that there isnt an elevator and were were put on the 2nd floor .. my aunt doesnt do steps well and it was difficult to get her up amd down the stairs ..

Need an elevator

Very friendly staff. Convenient location, with fast food options in walking distance. Comfortable bed. Very tiny pool, too small to swim, but maybe ok for kids to play in.

We were just traveling through. Friendly check-in. Room had a musty, moldy smell. Beds were very comfortable. Drains were slow. No elevator. I’d stay again for a quick overnight, if it wasn’t for the smell.

Hotel clean and staff friendly. No elevators to 2nd Floor. Breakfast good. Had to haul our luggage up small set of stairs.

I wish the pool was open.

Every staff member I interacted with was very nice and helpful. However, one of the lamp shades in the room had what looked like dried blood on it, the chair had mysterious stains, the baseboards in the bathroom were not finished, there were multiple dead bugs on the floor and walls (specifically, a beetle, a spider, and a moth - no roaches), the walls had patches of paint missing,the bathroom wall above the shower had a crack/small hole from water damage, the bathroom light was on the fritz, and the iron had burnt polyester on it (we did get a replacement iron thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff, but I feel like it should have been checked and switched when the room was flipped). And unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the damage because we noticed it and tried to ignore it as much as possible since we only stayed one night. there were some other things that bothered me but they were personal preferences and not objectively bad.

Not happy to hear that another guest had bug bites on them when they woke up in the morning. When I asked if they had problems with bud bugs they said only in that room! Which was my room!!!!!!

Wonderful experience. Very clean. Great breakfast. Everything we needed was provided and actually worked. The mgmt seemed to care about our stay. What a change. PS I don't write many reviews unless deserved.

The room was relatively clean however there was hair all over the tub and bathroom and the surfaces throughout the room need to be wiped down

Everything so disgusting! Room is not clean!! Dog food on the floor!! Smells urine!!

The rooms need updating and a through cleaning. The bedspread had stains, the bathroom (tub/toilet) was very dark and there was years of dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom. Outdated lime green chair in the room that I wouldn't sit on - just didn't look clean. There is no lighting on or near the nightstands which I thought was very strange. Front desk people were friendly enough. Since I visit my son often, and he lives close by, I won't stay here again. There are nicer, cleaner places close by.

The bed was comfortable...

One of the nicer hotels we stayed in during our 3 week vacation. Beautiful lobby area smelled so fresh. Front desk staff so friendly and helpful . Check in was efficient and quick. Breakfast area was very clean. Room’s spacious and beds were the most comfortable we’ve been in. Highly recommend this hotel!

Rooms was old

I've stayed here before. The room was stuffy but after 20 minutes of ac cooling it down it was fine. Hotel was quiet,clean and the people were nice. Bed n pillows were also good. Breakfast ok but they had waffles!! Plenty of food nearby.

Mostly empty hotel but staff put another guest right next door to us. Why would they do that? Paper thin walls.

Convenient place to stay. Reasonably priced. Not a very big hotel or rooms. But definitely doable.

Friendly, helpful staff. Large room but rug and chair old. Clean comfortable bed ,hot water for shower. Good room for a cheap price. There is a train that comes a tootin at 11pm and 530 am

I was downgraded to one bed and still paid for the double. There was no bath tub. I felt unsafe. The room felt damp and smelled like a hotel room. The place needs updated. It wouldn’t be that bad if I only paid $40/night. That’s the quality you’re receiving when you get a room here. Not worth the $140/night I paid. Stains on the chair. Placement of full length mirror made it difficult to use. Toilet paper was crap. Chip in fiberglass in the shower. Just a cheap, lousy hotel room.

The property itself wasn't that bad. It was pretty average and fair for what I paid. The reason I'm rating it so low is because it felt like they gave me a bait and switch. When I called to ask about bringing my show dogs with me to the area, I was told that they were pet friendly and that it was $15 per night to bring in pets. I let the person on the phone know that I had multiple dogs that I would be bringing with me and they told me that was fine, it was just $15 per night. When I got there and checked in, the clerk informed me the same amount. I had three dogs on leashes while checking in and was told that I would be charged a $15 per night pet fee. Then, the next day, he informed me that "management was going to give me a good deal and only charge me $40 per night for my dogs". The dogs were barely in the hotel as they were at the showgrounds with me pretty much all day, only coming there at night where they slept in crates. Had I known they were going to charge per pet, I would have probably stayed somewhere else. Going to try to call corporate and see if I can settle the matter with them, if not, I may contact my bank and file a charge back. This is bad business and I won't be back.

The hotel was fit for purpose, but it's in desperate need of an update. There is no elevator and a mediocre breakfast. The person checking us in was pleasant, but the overnight clerk seemed impatient with dog barks despite being pet friendly and even entered our room and left it unlocked when checking on the dog. If you're looking for some place to lay your head with no frills, this is your hotel.

Highly recommend! Check-in was seamless, the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable in the staff was excellent! We had to leave very early in the morning the day of the art departure and the staff made sure that we had coffee. So appreciated the extra effort!

The place was fair. overpriced for what it is. The key card kept deactivating each day and I had to go to the lobby every time I returned to the hotel to get it reactivated so that I could get in my room. Bathrooms are dated with a musky smell and could have been cleaner. My service dog was rejected from the dining area by one of the staff members.

The two gentlemen that we interacted with were wonderful. The young man that checked me in was very nice. The gentleman that was working at 4am this morning was very friendly. He even came out and pushed snow off of my car. Really enjoyed the stay. Would stay again.

The gentleman that check us in was very helpful. We had booked a room that happened to put us in the second floor. But, my husband has had knee surgery and is not comfortable doing stairs. The gentleman found us a room on the first floor with an outside entrance. What could have been a rough experience turned out to be a great stay thanks to him!

I reserved my room a few minutes before my arrival and had been driving all day. when I arrived, I was short of breath and asked if I could get a room on the first floor. The lady at the front desk told me that my room was on the second floor. She thought about it for a moment and said she had a room with a single bed on the first floor but it was marked as dirty. She went and checked on it and found that it was indeed clean, and she let me have it.She also said it had a parking spot right outside it, which made moving my luggage much easier.

It's a motel along the highway...you know it's not the Ritz. But this small property is maintained very well. It's clean and the area around the hotel is mowed and kept tidy. The staff and manager are excellent. I was staying there while at a dog show so had my Dalmatian with me. Upon check-in, they made sure I had a room near an exterior door for easy outside access. They were always kind and responsive. Another guest hit my car in the parking lot (elderly gentleman) and did not try to contact me. Management went above and beyond to review camera footage to find "whodunit." The security cameras are excellent and we did identify the other guest. The manager also stayed with me in the parking lot when I approached the other guest for insurance information. This may be a small, simply motel, but they sure understand customer service.

Room was amazing. Staff were above awesome. I left a couple items with sentimental value there and the staff went above and beyond to ensure i was contacted and even mailed them to my new address.
