Make sure and stay on the upgraded side. The older portion isn’t worth the cost.

This was a truly sad experience. Check-in took over one hour (yes, believe it) as the clerk was in over his head. Room was booked an hour prior to arrival but they did not have a room available and had to wait for a shift manager to get there to approve a different type of room. Room was an unreal dump-- worn, beyond filthy-- bed had hair and a pair of used contacts in it. Room was never serviced once the whole visit. I am somewhat familiar with the history of the Lodge and knew one of the original proprietors of the place-- he would be so terribly disappointed to see what this has become.

This was a very disappointing hotel/stay. 1) side entrance doors did not unlock when we were told they would. 2) no EV chargers, for this kind of money that’s ridiculous. Although upon leaving I was told they have plug in, if you bring your own cord. Management never told us this upon checking in. 3) signage on 3rd level indicates they have ice machines they do not. 4) they have no room service. We could place an order at restaurant but we need to pick it up. You got to be kidding me! 5) no valet. Again when you spend 500 a night and these things are missing, cheap hotel. 6) upon checking in we went to the bar/restaurant for a drink the bar tender was very unpleasant. She wanted to go home didn’t care for our business. My advise based upon this experience, stay somewhere else. I’ll never stay there again. I’ve had better service at less expensive hotels.
