The front desk, lobby area, and breakfast area were fine. There was still construction going on at the property and to be fair they should have shut down the building until construction was complete. The pool area could have been upgraded as there were cracks all over. On the website it says that you can get stuff for smores but the first night we stayed they didn't have propane for the fire pits to even have smores. It says you can on the website. I understand that the property was being renovated but we should not have had to pay $530 a night to be fair. It wasn't worth that in my opinion. Holiday Inn and Best Western were better options and were cleaner. Overall the stay wasn't horrible.

Great stay here. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff! And the little extras: warm cookies in the lobby, a great pool, and a hot tub, a water bottle filling station, free laundry, bike use, a free shuttle to/from town, and the "just right" breakfast made this a solid 5-star rating.

Great property that is currently undergoing some big renovations. Room was laid out well, giving us plenty of space for our trip. The game room, pool, kayaks, and bikes were big hits with the kiddos. The breakfast was pretty basic and was often running out and the pillows were small and flat, otherwise everything else was top notch!

Completely under construction, inside and out. No lobby, drywall dust literally in my nose and eyes while I slept. No warning about the MAJOR construction project at time of booking. One room on my floor the door was open the entire time with dirty sheets lying in the doorway. Both Expedia and this Pine Lodge should be embarrassed that they even allowed people to book here. I could t cancel because I prepaid. Awful experience, this hotel should be closed until they are finished. Also like 20 workers working the entire time. Horrible horrible experience. I travel a lot for work, been doing so for 10 years this is the first ever review I’ve left so that should tell you how awful this experience was.

We were not informed that the hotel was under construction. The pool was not clean and the whirlpool tub was out of service. Our room window had a crack in it and the road noise was a bit exaggerated as a result of that. We chose it for the pool and hot tub and unfortunately both were disappointing.

The location is good and the rooms are in very good condition. During our stay, the front desk was moved and the outdoor pool and hot tub was closed during our stay. When the room was booked online, there was no mention that construction would be taking place and the outdoor pool and hot tub would be closed. Availability of these amenities was the reason why we booked this property.

The view of the river was wonderful. For the price the hotel was decent but there were cleaning issues found in the room. It was note vacuumed well as my mother and son both found shards of glass on the floor, we didn’t have any glass. The bathtub was not cleaned well. The staff was friendly and resolved these issues once notified.

The staff were friendly greeting us. We got to our room and the carpet was dirty with trail mix, a tag from something, and the garbage still had garbage in it. The hotel is under construction but pool and hot tub were still open. The breakfast was in the games room temporarily. They had adequate alternative while under construction. Just disappointed about the cleanliness and some kids running down the halls which was also out of their control. Considering we paid almost as much as the fancy lodge on the other side of town it was disappointing that the room wasn't cleaned properly.

The housekeeping service was half-heated - they didn't clean the room very well. The hotel provided very limited supplies of towels, toilet paper, soaps, and linens. TV options were outdated and remotes didn't work well - no ability to log onto streaming services. The pool was too cold. The breakfast bar pancake maker was not reliable - and not enough pastry or fruit options to qualify as a good amenity. They left garbage bags in the hallway at end of day instead of moving them into storage / trash areas.

Upon arrival in the room there was a used wet towel hanging off the back of the door, there was a hair clip on the floor in plain site on the floor along with potato chips and brown liquid stains on the walls, We had a room on 4th floor and our Balcony was 1/4 covered in some kind of small animal droppings (I’d assume mice) Using the sink in the bathroom the plumbing let go and drained all over the bathroom floor. For the cost of $1,100 Canadian I did expect the room to be clean and the plumbing to work. We will definitely NOT be returning to this hotel next year on our trip.

The room was quiet, but smelled like it used to be a smoking room. A table, other than just a night table in there would also be greatly appreciated. And a 4 person room would feel like a 4 person room if it had night tables (or at least a small shelf) on both sides of the bed for phones, glasses, etc. The a/c filter in our room may not have been changed in awhile, as my eyes swelled up in an allergic reaction. The breakfast was great, much appreciated. More towels by the pool would be great as well. Overall, a good location, well looked after, but some tweaks would really elevate it.

Arrived an hour and a half after check-in time and they sent us to our room…which had still not been cleaned from the prior occupants! Then said they would upgrade us to compensate us. Ok…then said oops we don’t have capacity to upgrade you. Sorry, you’ll have to wait while we clean your room. Really?!! Took them another 40 minutes to get this done while we sat with our bags in the dining area. Terrible start to our stay! Additionally, they are in the middle of a remodel with boxes and random stuff everywhere. Not impressed. I expected better accommodations at this hotel.

Positives: The hotel was reasonably priced, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Moreover, every employee that I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Negatives: The wifi was really poor, making it difficult to even watch sports or movies on my laptop. The hotel is pretty old and is in need of renovation.

Very nice room with great property amenities. The hotel is right on the river with a great river path leading right into downtown. Our “Riverside view room“ did not have a real Riverside view, and the staff did not respond to our request for towels at the pool area

Building is old and has zero sound insulation - we heard all neighbors. Major roads nearby with constant traffic. We booked several weeks in advance, but instead of King with Balcony we were given ground floor room with a walk-out, zero privacy. Explanation was "we are sold out".

Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to downtown. The major downside for us was the room size and specifically the lack of surface area to unpack on. There are no drawers or a closet in the room either so it was not a comfortable situation. The room was very dark as well and there was only one chair. The listing suggests that the rooms are much bigger than they are.

Nice location. The fridge in our room made lots of noise ( buzzing and motor sounds) and we had to unplug it to sleep. Nice little gift shop for last minute souvenirs.

Don't waste money booking for a balcony... nice view of the PARKING LOT. The hotel is nice but the "get ya" on the site to "upgrade to a balcony." Sounds nice but no thanks... no need to "people watch" the parking lot.

The front dedk staff was amazing. We needed to leave every morning before the breakfast bar was open to access Glacier National Park. The staff worked with us to have coffee and continental items for us before we departed every day.

When my husband and I got to the property, they gave us the wrong room and the room we were given was not a very good room. This room was on the lower level floor and it was not the room we booked. The front desk agent was not able to help us the first night we arrived, however she stated the manager would be in the next morning and he would be able to help us. The following morning we spoke to Tanner, the manger and he was very helpful and very accommodating and he moved us to a room that was very similar (not exact) but was very close to what we booked. After the first hiccup was taken care of the rest of our stay was a great experience. The breakfast is great and all the staff were extremely nice. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend.

The GM Brie and the shuttle driver Austin were absolute delights. They were so helpful and attentive. I found the price reasonable given it was Labour Day pricing in Whitefish. It was a great value and the pool on the river was lovely! Looking forward to seeing the restaurant and lounge come to life. I will definitely be back! Thank you again to Brie and Austin!

Upon arrival discovered that the hotel was under construction and the pool and hot tub were closed temporarily. When they were open there were no jets available in the hot tub. The night manager on Saturday night was very rude and argumentative and seemed bothered by our request for a shuttle ride. Probably because we interrupted her smoking. Over all our experience was well below our expectations.

Whitefish is a cute little area. Very Pleasant check in. Customer service was very professional and straight forward. Close walking proximity to little downtown area and grocery markets. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking in this area

This place was amazing. My train was very delayed and they worked with me and was able to save my reservation for me. I was also able to extend my trip and they helped me get that figured out! The amenities are amazing like the pool, breakfast, cookies, cocoa, laundry room and transportation to the train station. The staff was so nice and welcoming! I don’t think I’d want to stay anywhere else for my future trips to Whitefish!

We booked this hotel for its pool and proximity to town, but it was a complete letdown. While our arrival started well with a great shuttle driver, everything changed when we stepped inside. Nowhere were we warned that the hotel was undergoing major construction. The entire lobby was gone, and we were forced through a makeshift entrance, navigating dust-filled air and loud tile removal. It was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. The pool was closed, which ruined our only chance to use it. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding, but they were not at fault. They handled it as best as they could, but the hotel should not be open in this condition. What is most frustrating is that people have limited time off and choose hotels based on trust that their experience will be worth it. This hotel knowingly takes reservations despite being a disaster, and because of that, we had to scramble to find a last-minute alternative, costing us $400 more. Running a business in this state is selfish and unprofessional. At the very least, guests should be warned, but in reality, this hotel should not be open. Avoid this place and stay somewhere that respects its guests.

Whitefish is a cute little area. Very Pleasant check in. Customer service was very professional and straight forward. Close walking proximity to little downtown area and grocery markets. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking in this area

Property was nice, pool was petty but we didnt get a chance to swim. There was as absolutely no breakfast options but what you could get at a gas station. The hot breakfast was empty both days we stayed. The kitchen dining staff did not replenish the hot breakfast even thought there was 2 hours left of breakfast. Juices were watered down.

Quick and easy check-in and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Room overlooking the river with a private balcony. My dog was so happy on the balcony in the sun watching the ducks and the paddleboarders.
