We loved the site! The property is very beautiful, however if they’re going to open it up to rent they should at least offer some amenities. Both pools were down for maintenance the restaurant was closed as well as the gift shop and coffee shop. We’ll definitely go back only when everything is open and operational

Very nice gym. Outdoor jacuzzi is far from rooms but they also have an indoor jacuzzi. Nice view from dining area and bar. Large, clean rooms with everything you need.

We had the most amazing stay at the lodge! Our room was great, the amenities were great and the dining was great. You really don’t have to leave the property after you check in because there’s so much to do there. If you do have to leave they’ve got ya covered! The shuttle service is also great.

I loved the spacious room, the porch view of the meadow was beautiful! I did not like how since it was mothers day they didn't have their typical complimentary breakfast and I was not willing to pay the $70/person. I also was very disappointed that the pool was unable to be used because of the tiki bar construction

Spectacular lakeside setting, love the hot tub and sauna facilities. Charming property with a great on-site restaurant. This was our second stay here and it’s still one of my favourite places. However, a couple of minor issues: - some staff were great and helpful, some were indifferent. Feels like they need more training in customer service. - rooms in the Main Lodge starting to feel a little bit worn, would be great to see some renewal soon (new carpet, new toilet suite)

This place is great! Day beds by the lake are so peaceful to read or just relax! Nice indoor pool and hot tub and great outdoor pool as well. Everything was clean and super quiet. Staff were all friendly and amazing! They offer a shuttle from the hotel to downtown and back! Loved the hotel loved the little town!

Our stay at the Lodge at Whitefish was wonderful. Our kids enjoyed the s’more kits, our room was spacious and clean, the restaurant was delicious, and we had beautiful views. We would love to visit again!

while the property itself and the setting are just stunning the service is not keeping up with the price point. No towels at the pool, absolutely no housekeeping one day and very poor housekeeping the next, zero service in the lounge and poor service in the dining room. Lots of wedding so perhaps that is the issue? At the price point charged the service does not measure up.

Property was clean, staff was amazing and friendly. Big kudos to housekeeping staff, they were great! I dont recommend the building not connected to main area, looks creepy and nobody was there, i felt like i was in the shining movie. I changed to the main building for a upcharge, had a partial lake view but it was more a parking lot view. Natasha in concierge went out of her way to help us find activities, and the young woman at the barista was super friendly. Great place i had a wonderful time, i would def go again.

For a studio suite, I was very surprised at the amenities inside the room: the kitchen with the mini fridge, the nice dining area and the fireplace with seating in the living room. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony partially facing the lake was a plus! The free shuttle to downtown Whitefish was great! If you need bear spray for hikes in Glacier, ask the front desk. They have collected a few cans. I would definitely stay at the lodge again!

What we thought was going to be a pretty lakeside hotel turned out to be a room across a bridgeway next to a noisy road overlooking a parking lot. Way overpriced for what it was. They actually had the audacity to charge you $55/ hour to use a beat up old kayak while charging $600 for a lousy room. Overcrowded pool and hot tub and no good access to use the lake. Actually had to go to the city beach. Dining facilities way overpriced and average quality. The pool and hot tub in the " roadside " facility wasn't working despite it being a high occupancy weekend. There was terrible ventilation in the below average exercise facility. Overall incredibly disappointing and couldn't wait to leave. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Excellent old style grand lodge on the lake. Their lake front rooms have balconies and beautiful views. Staff is attentive. Yoga in the morning on the lawn is perfect. Food is good.

Disappointed that room was not in main lodge but in building across the street. I didn’t realize when I booked- and since resort is over a mile from town center, most of the action is at the main lodge. The secondary building felt isolated. There is a connecting skywalk, but it still feels like it’s not part of the lodge. I’m sure the price reflected the location, but I would not have booked there had the layout been a little more clearly described. Also disappointed in early dinner at the Boat Club Bar. Restaurant was almost empty but we were given a table just adjacent to the main aisle that staff and patrons continually walked thru. Then, just as our meal arrived, 5 or 6 servers started a big wipe down of table legs, chair legs etc, vigorously cleaning on their hands and knees. We felt like we were in the way! Seems like a project to be completed when the restaurant (or that section) is closed. Not conducive to a pleasant meal. On a positive note, staff was very pleasant and professional. In particular, housekeeping and maintenance were very kind and helpful. Also the lodge is very lovely and our room was quite comfortable.

A lovely old traditional hotel in beautiful surroundings on the lake. Superb quality fixtures and fittings and huge bed and room. Dining room overlooks the lake and outside facilities are superb even out of season.

Overall, I loved my stay at the Lodge. I would definitely stay again. The only suggestion I have is for the complimentary in-room water, coffee, and creamers, sugar packets, etc to be restocked without having to repeatedly request these items at the front desk (where they had bottled waters stocked for those who asked). Not sure why Housekeeping didn’t provide these items as part of their daily service

Front desk receptionist spoke extremely quietly and had a very difficult time with English. She tried to charge me an additional 34 dollar resort fee when I tried to check in. I showed her my receipt showing that i would only owe an additional 6.34 upon arrival after that she was quite rude to me. Then our room keys stopped working an hour before our check out and I had four freezing wet boys (took a final swim before check out and we still had 30 minutes to spare.) needing to get into the room. We tried calling the front desk for help and the same receptionist had no idea what we were trying to ask for. Giving that this is a "luxurious" hotel and the cost reflected it we had a very poor experience with the customer service.

The room and general facilities were top notch. The individuals working the front desk and gift shop were very friendly and helpful. However, the service for dinner on the Saturday night of our stay was non-existent. We were seated from the bar to the deck and sat there for over 30 minutes with not one person coming to our table, except the hostess who finally brought us a glass of water. We finally got up and left the property to eat at a nearby restaurant, where the service and food were excellent.

We loved the facility!! The room was perfect for us. The fitness facility was more than adequate! The smores you supplied were a wonderful bonus. Having the water to look at right outside our bedroom was exhilarating first thing in the AM!! Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had the best experience at the lodge. Fantastic customer service, cleanliness, great amenities, we just really loved the place. The concierge was helpful with activities nearby and recommendations inside of Glacier NP. We preferred to eat at the Tiki bar instead of going out with the view of the lake, good food, and fun atmosphere. I would really like to come back!

Great place to stay, close to Whitefish, convenient location to use as a base for Glacier national park as well (about 40 min drive). We stayed in Viking lodge and boys enjoyed the heated pool and we really liked that they had laundry facility (coin-operated) we could use on the premises in adjacent building so we didn’t have to pack as much. Already planning our trip back and definitely going to stay at Lodge again!

Location is PERFECT. close to downtown and there is a shuttle between here and the firebrand hotel which is downtown. Walking distance to the Montana tap room if you want to get off property but not be downtown. Views overlooking the lake are amazing from the bar/restaurant area. Every staff member was so incredibly kind especially silly the front desk and bar. Parking was free. Rooms are big. On-site laundry room was so helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Amazing views of the lake, great food at their restaurant plus live music three times a week. Parking lots or valet parking available. Rooms very spacious and luxurious. Room service and cleaning services top notch. Amenities were on point around the property. Walkable to their downtown where more dining, shopping, live music are available only a 30 min walk. We will consider stay again when in town.

The Lodge was the perfect location for our recent visit. Quick 25 minute easy ride to Glacier, good local food nearby, and beautiful views of the lake, and mountains. Serene time of the year.

The restaurant was closed. I did get notification so I wasn’t surprised but they had a room service menu and they shouldn’t have bothered. I ordered a salad that wasn’t edible. When I mentioned it at checkout there was no offer to refund my purchase which was very disappointing. They also didn’t bother to try and give me a nice room even though they obviously didn’t have many guests. I was across the street from the river in a room with no view. If they would have made an effort to upgrade under the circumstances it would have gone a long way.

We were disappointed that the marina closed the day before our Reservation began. The room was fantastic with deer walking right by our window. Best pillows ever! Breakfast omelet was delish in the boat club restaurant! Waitress was so friendly… Montana coffee was outstanding.
