Decent hotel overall. Biggest issue was that the main front door didn't slide all the way open, only one person could enter at a time. Elevator inspection was out of date too. Otherwise it was fine. The hotel staff were very nice!

I’ve stayed at this location many times, each time it’s been perfectly fine. The past two visits I’ve had my dog with me. Their pet friendly rooms are on the “first floor” which is technically below street level/the basement. I don’t mind because the rooms are still very clean and I appreciate the easy access to outside. My room on this last visit had an odor to it, maybe mildew not really sure. I think it was more connected to the basement level location rather than cleanliness, which again, was great. The tiny pillows are terrible. I didn’t use the pool but I did check it out and the water temperature felt great, so it seems that they did fix the temp issue that others mentioned in previous reviews. What I do find wild is that when I stayed here two years ago, the side access door was broken and IT STILL IS. Anyone could walk right in without a key. The side access door by the pool was propped open the entire time I was there. Other guests would be smoking right outside of it which made the pool area stink of weed. The area the hotel is located in is right off the highway but in a business park so it still feels quiet and peaceful. It’s a fairly busy hotel so often overpriced but if you catch it when the rates are lower (under $100), it’s worth it. Very reasonable pet fee! But please fix the side doors.

The hotel is older and needs some repair. They advertise they have an indoor pool, but the pool was closed with wood over it. This was disappointing as we were there with a group of middle school students who were looking forward to swimming. The beds are comfortable and the hotel smelled clean.

We went there because my kids want to go the interior pool but the pool’s heat didn’t work.

We really enjoyed our stay 😁 We were treated very kindly by the staff and were given a very comfortable suite. Breakfast was well appointed. The only negative would be that the pool heater was not working and the water was far too cold to enjoy a swim ~

The hotel was mostly fine: a typical hotel of this sort, with a decent enough breakfast and comfortable rooms. I especially appreciated the free coffee available 24 hours a day since I tend to be a very early riser. The biggest disappointment was the pool, which was so cold as to be unusable. My daughter and I tried it and lasted about 10 minutes before we had to get out If the place is going to advertise an indoor pool, they need to maintain it at a temperature that allows it to be used safely: it was cold enough that I was concerned for our health if we had stayed in there any longer. The fitness center was also a disappointment. There was very minimal weight equipment, and of the four cardio machines (two treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a bike) only one of the treadmills worked, and barely.

Everything was fine except the ice machine on 1st floor did not work on a Saturday evening.

It was good for the one night that we stayed. The bathroom was huge with a lot of counter space. Also had a mini fridge and microwave. One of the elevator was out of order and took forever. We ended up taking the stairs and the stair railing area was not clean and did not smell good.

For the love of all that is good someone needs to warm up the dang pool room! Every true review says the same thing, and it was FREEZING

The pool was closed. After being price gouged at $500 a night this wasn't acceptable. Hallway was busy and loud til 3am. Need better sound proofing around the room doorways. Its an old property that hasn't been invested into.. You can clearly tell it needs renovation to justify the price point.

I was greeted by a roach in my bathroom when i called the front desk it just rang and rang. My room was not cleaned in the 4 days that I was there. The bathroom shower curtain was mildewed and should be changed to a new one. There is a light bulb out in the bathroom.

When you first walk in, you can smell the mildew smell when the doors open, it was very strong. Our first room that was offered to us was as dirty, the floors had globs of hair and smelled like mildew had over taken the room. There was mildew in between the grates of the AC unit. When we asked the front desk just to run the vacuum in our room, he offered us another room. The room had roaches on the walls. Another room option was putrid, we opened the door, and instantaneously started to gag because of the stagnant smell and the mold. When we informed them, we tried two more rooms, as soon as we turned on the lights, roaches scattered from the microwave and walls. We ultimately didn’t stay because it was simply repulsive. We talked to the front desk guy, he apologized, and was nice. We did have to make other accommodations at a different hotel. The extra cost was a damper on our trip but worth not staying in a repulsive, roach-infested, and mildew scent hotel. I would not recommend to anyone.

Our room was large, which was nice. However, there was mold in the shower and the ceiling had rust. The common areas were not clean. There were cobwebs in several areas and the floor did not look vacuumed at all in the hallways. I can look past a lot of those things, especially for only one night. The worst part, though, was seeing a cockroach in the bathroom. The hotel has potential but needs a serious deep cleaning and upkeep.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of options. Everything hot and fresh. Staff was friendly.

Hotel needs a good cleaning. Curtains in room were yellowed and stain3d. The duvet had what appeated to be a cigarette burn in it, the shower curtain had mildew on it and the towels were yellow and stained. And there was a dirty sheet on the sofa bed.

My guys they didn't get house keeping they didn't and a lot of fleas in the bed.

This hotel and the experience that went along with it horrific. The hotel is very unsanitary and the front desk staff is nonchalant. It’s a stale smell there and the cockroaches are ridiculous. There was no way I could lay down and sleep. I packed my kids and belongs and midnight to find another hotel nearby where the staff was friendly and the place was clean and acceptable.

Nasty rooms

My apartment was dirty. On the coffee maker counter there was a dirty piece of an old towel wet, dirt and smelling terrible. I walked barefoot into the bathroom and my feet got dirt. I can not say anything about other services because I decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly but property was not what I expected based on the photos and listing. Hotel is in serious need of a renovation and a serious upgrade in the roomI stayed in.

Decent hotel only complaint is the room doors slam when anyone goes in and out of a room. Being jarred awake all hours of the day and night doesn’t make for restful sleep.

2 night stay: Nice enough place. When I got there, I was told there was no TV or internet (Spectrum problem) that was solved by the second day. No hot water, just luke-warm water for shower which was very disappointing. I was on the sixth floor and had to explore to the 1st floor to find ice...some signs at least would have been nice. Still, overall it was mostly acceptable for what I needed

It was fine. A little worn around the edges from age. WiFi not working was the worst issue. TV was a puzzle. Some cleanliness issues, worn carpet, not a big deal overall.

Check in was fast! The beds are comfy but needs an update.

The room/bathroom need to be updated, felt dated. Also, room (114) was under the breakfast area so on Saturday, heard chairs moving around at 5:30am.

My stay was OK. The room was adequate. Room was very dark. Bed was OK. Pillows definitely needed to be changed. I would suggest that the rooms be painted brighter and more inviting. The complimentary breakfast was inadequate, same old powered eggs that were always burned and same old breakfast sausage every morning. You need variety in the morning. You need real eggs and least change the breakfast menu, ie.. add bacon, pancakes, real fruit, bagels. use real butter packets, or real cream cheese. Seemed like the morning crew does not care. The price we pay for the stay each night should reflect on customer satisfaction. Come on guys, two dollars for one 16 ounce bottled water? They should be complimentary, 2 bottles free per day per room. Ice machine on the 4th floor was broken! How do justify that? Plus the lounge seating area was disgusting. The seating area needs to be changed. It was full of stains and seemed like no one cared about cleaning or replacing your furniture! You need to step up your game. Hotels were meant to be inviting. Like a place you call home. Now, if you improved your game plan, I would consider staying here again.

We stayed 3 nights this trip, our son lives in the area. They are very friendly and the breakfast team does a great job.

The hotel was amazing… it was the check in that was infuriating. The girl at the check in was asking if I brought a pet with me, I stated “No.” She stated that they would have to charge me an additional $13 because the 3rd party (Hotels.com) put me in a room that’s pet friendly. I didn’t get the option on the site while booking to get a pet friendly room or not, so why would I be charged extra?!

I walked into the lobby to a musty smell, much like a dirty aquarium. The host finally found my reservation after a few minutes of searching. He gave me my room key and I headed up to my room. The maid hadn’t finished cleaning my room from the previous night. That’s ok I had a meeting to attend. After I got back to the hotel, I was able to get into my room. Later that night there was a fight in one of the rooms above me. I woke to shouting, screaming, and crying. Then furniture was thrown across the room. That was great. The next day I left the building using the stairwell. It has security cameras, but the access control is non existent, anyone could just walk right in and go up to any floor. There was a cockroach on by bathroom wall at one point and a beetle ran across the floor at the same time. The tv was horrible to navigate. When I was checking out the guy at the front desk took a moment to look up as if I was bothering him. All in all it was a below average experience.

The pull out couch was disgusting the service wasn't great I will not be going back to any comfort inn again

Horrible customer service from the lady that checked me in. I have early check in and she said she is not checking anyone in early for any reason that day even if they have empty rooms. I asked even if I was ten minutes early and she said for any reason. She was rude and ruined my entire day. I’ve never had that happen at any hotel. The hotel and rest of my stay was great but won’t be going back because of this.

The manager had told me to request room service ahead of time witch I did and still didn’t get it till 2 days after it was ridiculous to get it 5 days in to my stay it was a horrible experience will not come back at all

Came for a concert at the Amphitheater which is a 3 minute drive away. Nice hotel. The pool water was a little cold but everything else was nice. Will visit again.

Easy accessibility to the location of the business I was in town for.

It was a stop-off point of a longer trip. It provided a central location for visiting the Raleigh-Durham area.

It's in a good location. Close to shopping and a lot of good restaurants. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Everything was great. The employees were very gracious. Plenty of shops like Whole Foods and Walmart within walking distance.

It was a great option if you need a quick overnight. The room was clean and the area was safe and convenient to shopping and highway access. The downside is that it is slightly outdated and there were limited options as far as on site snacks and similar conveniences.

due to low staff , we booked based on free breakfast but they did not provide on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. THey also did not offer a partial refund or voucher for food elseware. They did provide free hot coffee.

Enjoys our stay. Even though there were small children across the hall, we did not hear them. Breakfast was good, but a little disappointed the selection was the same for both Saturday and Sunday.
