Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, in general an acceptable property. Our biggest complaint, however, is that we had no access to the pool I understand that it needs to be shocked with the amount of use it gets. We came back to the hotel on a Sunday because of the heat index in the 100’s hoping to just spend the afternoon at the pool. IT WAS CLOSED. Can’t the maintenance be done during the week when there’s not as many guests?

Room floors sticky and dirty, pool was closed Saturday and Sunday, Saturday breakfast cereal no milk, waffle machine broken, ice machine on our floor was broken had to go 3rd floor, we paid for pool and breakfast included, and pool closed breakfast services horrible.

The tv didn’t work and the bathtub didn’t plug, so we switched rooms at 11 pm and then the next room didn’t have a plug at all for the tub so I had to use a washcloth. It was listed that there was a spa/hot tub but were then told that the spa hadn’t been working in 2-3 years. Our keys stopped working a few different times. One time we were reassured that they keys would work and went up to our room on the 4th floor just to have to go all the way back down to get new keys.

Our AC unit had visible mold all over the front of it. AC was terribly loud, rattled off and on for hours and did not dehumidify room properly. Other guests loud all night. Bed uncomfortable and stiff. Room uncomfortably cold and moist. Room floors and bathroom felt unsanitary. We were very uncomfortable.

4 roaches in the bathroom, nasty mattresses, found a molded piece of fruit under the dresser. Everything was banged up, ripped and shoddy. Overall nasty!!! Never again. Dirty carpet, tilted side table. Nothing going for it except closeness to venue.

My wife was bitten by bed bugs and management has done nothing to resolve the issue. Major problem. I notified Wyndham and they have not even responded. I even supplied photos of the itchy patches that broke out all over my wife's skin. I asked for full refund and compensation for pain & suffering. I provided photos of the bugs & blood on the sheets . The photos document the location & time.

The outside was having construction done and it was in poor condition. When we walked in, I had to yell multiple times for someone to come check us in. There were people behind us trying to check in too. The workers came out from behind the wall and seemed stoned. We got into the elevator and it was filthy. The hotel room was completely outdated and looked nothing like the images online. We left and got another hotel within 1 hour of checking into the property.

My bed was infested with bedbugs. I had left at 2:20 am. My 85 year old mother who is on oxygen and her bed was infested as well. I asked how can I get a refund. I was given the manager number to call today (Sat)) May 11, 2024. I was told by Sam who answered the phone when I called told me the manager won’t be in until Monday. I have pictures of the bedbugs crawling on the bed. I sprayed the bed with Lysol and didn’t see anything. When I laid down for the night I felt the bits but in denial but it got worse

Bugs 4 TV stations. Requested fix, but nothing happened. Have to request house keeping, wasn’t told upon checkin. Staff knew nothing about Wyndham reward program. Mattress old & cmpressed. Staff didn’t speak or understand English very well. Annoying alarm in next door unoccupied room. Reported, nothing happened Avoid complimentary breakfast.

Overall it was a very nice day. The room was large and comfortable. The only issues I encountered in my stay that kept me from writing it excellent over All were two. One of course was beyond their control they kept trying to have it fixed. Neither of the elevators worked the whole time. One never worked the other worked most of the time. The other problem was my refrigerator was very very hard to open and close. It was on a tray but the lip of the tray interfered with the door opening. But, beyond that it was a great stay. I would highly recommend it.

Decent place for the cost. Large clean room. Quiet-except for the trash dumpster pickup at 5am. Condition of the building isn’t great but overall it was a good stay. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

It was under renovation so some mess is to be expected. Nice people, nice room. My complaints are square short pillows that were impossible to get comfortable in. The clerk was able to find me 2 regular pillows however. They need to splurge on lids for the coffee cups as well.

The room was good, remodeled and clean. Breakfast was served beginning at 6am. The worker responsible for maintaining breakfast did not come in until 7am. The juice was not set up and many items were missing. The worker at the desk was less than helpful. When we were going back to our room, we heard someone yelling in the back elevator. Some people were trapped in the elevator. This occurred around 7am. The front desk attendant came but was not very sympathetic of the situation. Incidentally, it was the same associate that wouldn't help with the juice. The room was nice, but the staff was less than adequate. We're not likely to stay there again.

At a time of great family tragedy, the staff went out of their way to help us in every way they could. I can't rate them high enough, especially Jonathan and Anna at the front desk. I knew the hotel was doing significant renovations, this wasn't a problem for me as I worked in construction for many years. I loved seeing the daily progress!

Delightful place to stay in a beautiful area. Yes, I was aware the hotel is under considerable renovation but as I worked in construction for forty years it didn't bother me at all. In fact, I was looking forward to each day's progress! The entire staff was amazing and incredibly helpful through a difficult time for me and my family. I highly recommend and hope to visit again!

The neighborhood is beautifully laid out so you don't hear traffic or see neighboring businesses. Very attractive. Front desk staff were responsive with a lack of enthusiasm. One didn't get out of his chair. The property is being upgraded/renovated. the snack machine had been removed. So, no snacks unless you want to get in your car and drive somewhere. Couldn't a variety of snacks be available through the desk? Breakfast was cleared at 9 AM. Isn't that a bit early? My room was a renovated one. Clean, appealing, bed comfortable. However, there were no towel racks and little area to hang a towel to dry. These are things I can live with, but don't reflect the class of hotel of LaQuinta.

Came to Raleigh from Asheville to help a friend move and had a great stay here. I was warmly greeted when I arrived on Sunday by staff, everyone was very friendly throughout my brief stay which was a highlight. The hotel was quiet and clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice continental breakfast as well.

I booked this hotel because of my excellent experience there last summer. At my late check- in, I couldn’t get anyone to answer the call button at the entrance. I looked through the window and saw the desk clerk watching a video on her phone with earbuds in: no wonder nobody answered the call button. During the check-in, she told me room cleaning would be every other day; to which, I did not have a problem. When I returned to my room at 1am after my second night, the room had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk to request it be cleaned around 7am, and was told they were slammed and couldn’t get to it, so I settled for fresh towels. But i did tell her it was supposed to be cleaned yesterday; therefore, it should be done first, today. While walking my dog, I had to be vigilant for trash everywhere. During my checkout, I asked if the ownership had changed since this time last year. The desk clerk said yes, and they were remodeling. I told him remodeling doesn’t excuse the lack of housekeeping and the poor customer service I received.

First, the website said pet friendly with no mention of any fee. When I arrived at the property at $25 per day if he was charged. Bush league. I went for coffee this morning and food was spilled all over the floor in the hallway going toward the lobby. I will not stay there again.

The woman who checked me in on Sunday was extremely nice, however the key to my room wasn’t working, after having to lug my bags back and forth to the desk twice, the desk attendant came up with me and after jiggling the card was able to get me in the room even after seeing the difficulty did not offer to have engineering come look at it or offer me a different room. The next day when I left for a run, I came back and again. I could not get the key to work. Went down the the front desk and was greeted by an extremely rude individual who’s only response was “well it should work”. Went upstairs again, couldn’t get into my room, came back downstairs the gentlemen grabbed the key from my hand, ran up the stairs walked to my room before I could even get to the door I could hear him jiggle the key a few times, when he could finally get in the room after 4 or 5 tries hands me the key and looks at me like I’m the idiot who doesn’t know how to use a key. All being said, a little empathy for your guests and maybe a little hospitality would’ve gone a long way. I didnt want anything except to be able to get into my room without having to have stand there for 5 mins trying to find out the combination of jiggles on the door lock

The service here was outstanding! Every employee we encountered was a pleasure to work with, however the front lobby was extremely cold and when we asked about this, the employee stated he was not allowed to change the temp. Also, through the whole night into the breakfast hours only one employee was scheduled to work the front including setting up the breakfast area. I do not know the man's name, but he was outstanding in getting everything accomplished...breakfast was late, but he was the nicest, most polite gentleman during this time and never let it get to him. He kept his cool, was courteous to all his guest and left us satisfied with his work. There were several issues with the building itself, no outlets our bathroom worked, the front doors of the facility jammed very offend, the pool was filthy and of course the front lobby temp. Other than this, our stay was very enjoyable.

Our room was comfortable and clean. We asked for a meal recommendation and the staff really had no ideas, so we decided to try Lucky 32 just down the road. Delicious! How would the staff not know about it? The room was conveniently located near the highway without noise so we could get up early in the morning and hit the road.

Check in was fast, but had to return to the lobby as the room key disn’t work. Hotel has restaurants and stores nearby, there is a Walmart across the street. Room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was good.
