First of all, the pool wasn’t working and it’s advertised with the pool so that’s a big demerit right there! Secondly, the bathroom and sink area is very very small. And the light over the sink with the mirror, which is where most people put their makeup on and get ready for whatever event they’re going to had a light so dim, you could hardly see. The lights were covered with a plastic square slotted filter but both of them were so very dim you couldn’t even see if your face was clean or not. First night there I found a roach climbing on the wall of the bathroom where the toilet is. And the pocket door that went between the little sink area and where the toilet and stand up shower were STUCK halfway closed. So you had to put all your muscle behind it to open it all the way, or to close it all the way. Also, the handle on the shower door was completely disconnected on the bottom side which made it feel grungy and dirty. Very unhappy.

People were drinking/partying in the parking lot and being loud in the hallway. I know the staff can not do anything about this. The breakfast was very bland. Which I know it’s a hotel but still. The luggage carts were broken and held together with zip ties. The mattresses were very firm and pillows were flat as soon as you laid on them. Overall the staff were very nice and helpful but the hotel as a whole just needs an update.

When I first walked in we were greeted with a STRONG smell of Marijuana. I thought maybe it was the people in front of me but when I passed the lobby area again a few times I kept smelling it but not as strong. The hotel stated it had a pool and the children I traveled with were looking forward to it. When we got there it was NOT working.. The hotel is in a good spot close to everything but def needs some attention. The price was not terrible but still wasn't cheap to have to deal with strong odors of mold in the room esp in the bathroom area. Will NOT be staying in another Sleep Inn again. Sorry would NOT recommend.

Nice clean hotel for a weekend Lacrosse tournament. However, they do not offer shampoo or conditioner. Also the pool was empty and we were looking forward to taking a swim.

While our stay was ok- especially for the price! The overall facility needs a face lift /updates! Bathroom needs work. The halls have a weird smell. And very disappointing that the pool area was not in operation this time of year!

The room obviously hadn’t been painted in years as there were marks and spots all over the wall, there were bugs crawling in sink and on the curtain and the towels and sheets were old and worn. When we returned to the room, they had not changed the sheets, made up the bed or did much in the way of cleaning. I guess you get what you pay for.

There were mice scarring around and mouse droppings in the room. The staff refused to clean up the mouse poo. Finally one young staffer gave our guest some cleaning supplies on the second day to clean it herself. Outside of that person, the rest of the staff were very rude about the rodent issue. It was unsanitary. Breakfast had limited options.

Found 2 live German roaches in my room the night i checked in. Showed them to the front desk and the gentleman gave me another room. Woke up the next morning to a German roach in the bathroom. Showed it to the front desk and the lady said they didnt have a roach problem and that i brought them into the hotel. I go to the room and move the mattress and grabbed a sticky trap that the hotel had under it that was full of roaches and took it to the front desk. The lady said shes never seen it before. I told her it was behind the bed along with dust and trash. She walked away so i checked out

Roach Hotel! Stayed 1 night and I killed 3 roaches within 1 hour. I’m sure there were more but I could not wait to get out of there. One was crawling all over my breakfast that I sat on the nightstand for 10 seconds. I took the dead roaches to the front desk. The woman at the front desk was very nice and assured me that the manager would call me when he arrived at the hotel. That was Sunday and it is now Wednesday with no call.

Very nice and clean rooms, however they have the poorest internet service I've experienced in Charlotte. Consistent download speeds of only 3mbps or lower!!!! Basically useless for anything other than email and reading the news. For business customers that depend on solid internet speeds I'd look elsewhere. The TV's are the "thick" flat screens which shows the age of them...not even the larger variety. Everything else mostly, is pretty nice.

A pretty good deal for the cost. My only real suggestions are: 1. Make sure there is conditioner provided in rooms. This is standard in all of the hotels I have stayed in and I was counting on it. 2. Improve the breakfast. It was the worst I have ever had for a free hotel breakfast, which is saying a lot... Otherwise this is just the type of hotel I look for - reasonable price but clean and quiet. I would stay here again I just would bring my own conditioner and not eat the breakfast.

I have to commend the staff at Sleep Inn. They were very courteous and responsive. The evening desk clerk, Jose was very helpful and courteous. The housekeeping and maintenance was very attentive and helpful as well. For instance upon arrival I noticed one of the lights wasn't working so I mentioned it to one the housekeeping staff and in less than 15 minutes the maintenance staff and resolved the problem quickly. Please convey my gratitude to the hardworking staff at Sleep Inn. Thank you.

The front desk was awesome. I left my charger home and they even allowed me to borrow there’s. The room smelled great and the sheets were clean and smelled of bleach. My only issue was the hall way smelled very strongly of weed. Other than that my stay was great & I would definitely stay again.

Me & my family (2 adults 5 small children) booked and payed on Expedia. Got there (10pm that night of booking from traveling 6 hours ). Was refused reservation, refused a refund which I still haven’t received and they ( Indian, front desk attendant & her father, Dipak (father/manager) was very very rude. So we were out of a room, out of money and issue still haven’t been resolved. Will continue to press the issue until the money is returned.

the area is rife with panhandlers. charlotte is a sanctuary city and it looks like illegals are hanging out at this motel. slipping in the side doors for a free breakfast, sleeping in the parking lot, even the staff looks shady. an esl class would go far here.

If you don’t mind looking at a dirty ceiling while laying on dingy white sheets and comforter, unfriendly breakfast person, I said Good morning multiple times and her only words were “don’t overfill waffle maker”. I originally booked a 6-night stay to relax and clear my mind, but the conditions were unacceptable, and I left after only 2 nights. People were openly smoking weed in the parking lot, the room had a roach, and the carpet had a terrible odor. I even had to wedge a chair against the door for safety during my stay. This experience was a complete waste of money. The reviews and photos online are misleading—nothing like reality. Definitely false advertising. I will never stay here again.

I used to stay here sometimes but the last time was 2 years ago. We loved the big clean rooms and the great breakfast. This time I had to ask for a different room because the first room on the 2nd floor had an odd odor. The replacement room was better. It was larger and cleaner. There was no outdoor space to sit. The pool is empty and there is no outdoor furniture except for a table chair combo in the back parking lot. Only one and someone was always sitting at it The front had no place to sit either. No benches. Breakfast was disappointing. The coffee tastes burnt. Both days the offering was round frozen egg patties an overcooked sausage patties and self serve waffles. One day there was yogurt available. Small mini muffins and mini cinnamon rolls, cereals and one bowl of apples and some variety of bread. Not as appetizing as it used to be. I won’t stay there again. There is also a new type of customer.

My Son and I had stayed there for two nights. The hotel doesn’t look like anything that was on Expedia, you walk into the lobby looks horrible, the hotel needs fresh paint the carpets need to be deeply cleaned. The pool was not working was not explained to me at the time I book the rooms. The breakfast was horrendous. The lady that set up the breakfast was very rude, I do not recommend this hotel whatsoever. Makes me question if there was any big bugs.

Overall the stay was nice, I had little to no complaints. I would suggest checking mattresses because they were a little firm in some areas causing some minor back aches. I would also suggest better pillows as they barely had a shape. I wish I could have streamed my phone to the tv or signed into Netflix on something other than my phone (not a necessity but would’ve been nice). The breakfast is as decent. The one thing I wish was available would’ve been a shuttle to and from locations, even if you had to request it in advance.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. The bathroom door latch was broken and one of the outlets on the lamp between the beds did not work. The hot breakfast was difficult to know what it was. It was shaped like a dollar pancake, but had an egg color. Tasted it , but still could not decide what it was.
