Sleep Inn Wilson near I-95

This hotel was clean, quiet, and provided the amenities needed while we were visiting. There are some small areas with chipped paint, and water stained ceilings, but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Took a while to get checked in bc of computer issues. The clerk was nice enough to only charge for one dog instead of two bc of the trouble. The clerk in the morning decided to add the charge for the second dog anyway. Room was disgusting stains on blankets, mold near the air conditioner. Even though it’s a smoke free hotel the whole hallway smelled of weed and cigarettes. What a dump! Spend the extra and go somewhere else!!!!!!!

The room was very poor. The bed was hard, bumpy, and felt like a thin sofa bed mattress over a metal base. My wife and I were too tired and had to get up early to leave so we just dealt with it. The bed spread had blood stains and the comforter had rips and holes in it. We ended up just using the sheets. Bathroom door had to be lifted up to be closed as it got stuck and lots of rust and touch ups everywhere. Terrible room. Would have switched hotels, but that is always a difficult process with Hotels.com. There’s no way to check on the condition of a room before the booking is already made. And the refund process is a nightmare.We were getting up in nine hours to continue our travels home.

The front desk clerk was very nice and accomodating. The room was great. I actually even liked the soap, shampoo and conditioner.
