Was a little concerned about the safety of parking area. Numerous sign posted of parking at your own risk. The number and positioning of the signs made me think there have been problems before. Everything went well while we were there but I was often checking the status of the lot.

My father-in-law’s truck was vandalized the very first night we stayed at this hotel. His truck bed was sliced open and will have to be completely replaced. The outside of the hotel has rust stains all over it. Random people walking through the parking lot with no shirt on. The coffee cups are tiny flimsy styrofoam cups. My husband spilled coffee all over himself in our vehicle. I payed for 3 Separate Rooms each for 2 nights! There was Zero effort or compassion given to us from the hotel for our situation with the vehicle. There was only 1 working elevator the Entire time we stayed at the hotel. I would NOT recommend staying here at all!

While everything looked clean, there was a roach in my bathroom! I checked the rest of the room and didn't see anything else, but that creeped me out. Walls are very thin - you can hear people talking in their room, in the hallway, walking. Breakfast was about what you would expect though they didn't label the food so no clue what kind of sausage they were serving, what kind of muffins, etc. Two of the desk attendants were very friendly. Not an easy location to get to and didn't feel safe in terms of the other housing that shares the space - there were people hanging around outside watching the parking lot.

The bathroom exhaust fan did not move ANY air, there were two burned out bulbs in the bathroom overhead light, an electrical outlet by the door did not work, and the shower curtain rod was broken. Even though we reported the broken shower curtain rod to the front desk personnel (Paul), the rod was never repaired nor did we receive any feedback. The entire room was excessively humid and smelled musty.

The check in was easy however the room had roaches. When I told the staff we were checking out early they did not seem phased at all. No attempt to fix the situation just responded with a nonchalant ok. I video recorded the roach motel and can attach it to the survey should the site permit me to do so.

Check in was nice, we got in at 11 pm and just went to bed, where the sheets felt gross. Woke up and went to breakfast, went back to get ready to leave and there were tons of ants in my open bag on the floor (no food in there). Upon closer inspection, we found the room was COVERED in ants! We packed up and left immediately. My husband told the front desk and was told they would get right on it. No appology or anything.

Our stay at Comfort was below average.. I would’ve expected nothing less coming from a hotel chain like this but they could’ve least tried a little harder. The hotel room itself reeked of cigarettes and the furniture felt damp the second we sat down. We tried to prevent the smell by letting in some fresh air but the windows didn’t open, not that it would’ve helped that much considering how poor our view of a run down pool was. For the amount of money we payed for two nights, it was extremely disappointing. The service was fine but it’s safe to say we would think twice before returning another time.

I think this was the CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in. All the weird still like towel racks, baseboards and the picture frames were dustless. Our room was EXACTLY as pictured. The whole place smelled like bleach. It was immaculate.

The room I was in had a smoky smell, like it had been in a fire. The curtain blinds wouldn't close completely so a lot of light got into the room at night, making it hard to sleep. It took about 3 minutes for the water to heat up for the shower. The complementary breakfast was just meh, would rather have a Bojangles biscuit. Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the weekend.

We stayed one night in a king suite. Spacious room, very clean, and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was courteous, check-in was fast as room was reserved online. Breakfast was good also. Would have liked more fruit, but waffles, sausage, eggs, and bagels were very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff very friendly. Room big and clean. Couch faces away from TV, that is weird. Location is very good. Bed pretty comfy. Breakfast good. The WiFi is really bad. If that is important to you, find another hotel. It’s really unusable. Good stay other than WiFi being bad.

Nice stay right off I-40 in Winston-Salem. Everything was great except the WiFi. It had full strength, but data speeds were terrible. And, since it was a business trip, that was extremely important in getting some things done. I had to resort to my phone hotspot, which was also poor. Couldn’t complete required online work. Clean room and everything worked properly otherwise.

Mr. Paul, at the front desk, is by far the best staff I've seen in a hotel. I've traveled to many places in the last 8 years, but Mr. Paul not only shows that he cares, but that each customer are special to him and the business. His service is above and beyond, by ever detail.

This was the perfect spot to stop midway home from vacation. It was easy to get to. Room was very neat and clean. Great location very close to several dining choices. Front desk staff was amazing. If they offered more than 5 stars I would give them to Kyle. I made an error in the on line booking date. He helped me correct it and made me feel better about it. Being extremely fatigued from traveling all week, that simple act was lovely.

Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Very clean hotel and a good breakfast in the morning. I really enjoyed my stay here. I’m traveling with my sprinter van business and I booked room here after the load was delivered. The next day my dispatch company was not ready for me another load by checking out. I explained my situation to the manager and he allowed me to sit in the lobby until I got my next load or get another room . That was very important to me. If I’m ever in this area again, I’ve found a good place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were greeted by a professional, friendly associate, Karen, she helped us check-in and find a local eatery. She gave expert directions. We really appreciate her assistance. The breakfast served was hot and had many selections. It was a great surprise and we enjoyed it. Our stay was great and we plan to use Comfort Inn on our next trip.

Very nice reasonably-priced hotel. Location is just off of I-40 and near a major mall (Hanes Mall). Very clean and the breakfast had both hot and cold items. Staff were great. Plenty of food options within walking distance or a short drive. Also, across from the mall, with all kinds of shopping options, if you wish. The entrance is a little tricky, but keep an eye out near the ground for the entrance sign - the hotel is easily seen from the road, so once you enter the driveway, it's easy. I would definitely stay here again.

It was pretty comfortable. Good breakfast. Negative is difficult to get too due having to make a U turn to get to the drive, no visible sign by the road and not much light in the parking lot. Otherwise it’s nice.

This was a great location in Winston Salem. It's tucked right off the main strip near the mall away from the chaotic traffic, but still just a few minutes from the mall and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was very good too. The gentleman at the front desk was like a trip back in time with his professionalism, kindness, and conversation. The only negative thing I could possibly point out is the extior could use a good pressure washing, for curb appeal, however that's not going to stop me from this location being my go to when I'm in the area.

Check in was alright. We were given fresh linens for the pull out couch. Beds comfy, pull our couch was horrible. Desk called before 9 telling us that the room below was complaining of loudness.. we banned the kids to the beds as their footsteps seemed to agrivate the guests below that were trying to "check their blood pressure"... we are A+ guests as per all our host reviews so this was a first. The pool was no longer open which was a huge bummer for the kids on a travel day when that is what we were hoping for when we booked our stay. We would have went elsewhere otherwise. Went to the breakfast bar, at least 4 begals were growing mold. I removed them and gave them to the kitchen staff so that no other guest would accidentally take, but i feel this should be addressed. Unfortunately the breakfast bar was not as discribed, however it was breakfast. Check out was fine. Unfortunately i dont think we will be staying at comfort suites in the future.
