We chose this hotel because it has a pool and we had some time when off work to relax at the pool, well the one day we had the pool was closed due to adding chemicals (totally understand the pool needs to be cleaned), but they never took the sign off when it was open. We finally when down and asked a second time and the desk clerk said it's open, just didnt take the sign off..... Bathrooms could have been cleaner, ran out of TP, put sign out to make up the room and at the very least bring tp, they didnt. The rooms are very dated and bed was very firm.

Called directly to hotel before booking and asked about their pool. They said yes they had one and all was good with it. Checked in the said couldn’t use the pool that day because they were treating. Come to find out it had not been useable for over two weeks and would not be fixed during our stay. Would not stay there again.

Nasty curtains,floor bathroom. Tub ran water all night. Curtains didn’t function so we had a parking lot light shining directly in our room. Pool was green from not being taken care of. Knee high weeds in the parking lot. Staff was reluctant to stop looking at their phone to help

I got the room with the jetted tub and it didnt work and also the pool was green and not swimmable at all.... Thats the reason i got the room to begin with!!!! Everything else was decent except for that

The bath tub didn’t drain. The sink facet was broke. We found an old shoe in our room. There were roachs crawling in room and bathroom. We had a big hole in our wall. Room would only stay cool on like 63 degrees

This place has a roach problem. There was a dead roach in the toilet, and living ones in the bathroom. I brought the issue to the front desk. They advised me to email the GM. It’s been almost 24 hours and I have not received an email back.

This place needs some updating, deep cleaning, and pest control. My daughter and I woke up after our first night to a roach crawling on the wall above the beds. Judging from other reviews, this is a known issue for the property. I spoke to Rick at the front desk (who was very nice and apologetic) and he offered to move our room which I appreciate. I also spoke to the manager, Pam, who did not seem too concerned that they have a roach problem and was also not very friendly or offer any apology. The pool was also dirty with bugs and spiders. Parking close to the building is limited. Most spaces are up on a hill which is very inconvenient and a pain with luggage. Laundry room was dirty with dust and cob webs. I can’t speak for the breakfast because after having a roach in our room I was not eating the food prepared there.

I did not like anything of the property/stay. The whole hotel smelled like mold. The quality of air is poor all it came out of the AC was smelly mold odor. The bathroom tub was with mold on the handles ceiling with spots low water pressure fan was loud, you can hear thve water running very loudly can hear when yhe water is running. I would not recommend this to NO ONE or NOBODY its more like a crack hotel. CONSUMER BEWARE!!

Bugs everywhere. Daughter pulled back the sheet and two bugs in the bed. One came from under the tv stand and the. One came on the across the pillow. It was Disgusting and move my family quickly to another hotel. Never again.

The property looks nice inside and out, but in the room, there was a bug (roach) problem. Over a two night stay, I killed 4 in the bathroom, and 4 more in the sink area. I understand that this is the south, and that an occasional bug is inevitable, but this many indicates they have a problem. Also, my room was two doors from the elevators, and the bell when the car arrived on the floor was loud enough that it was annoying in the room, with the door closed.

The breakfast area has an awful smell. It was really unpleasant to have breakfast while smelling that odor. The room has worn furniture but was clean. The carpet on the hallways to the rooms were dumped with water (it was raining at that time) which created big creases. Looked like the rug wasn’t attached to the floor. I tripped once. Nothing serious but look reallr bad

The first room we were given had the hot water running out of the bathtub faucet. We told front desk about this. He told us there was about 20 or so rooms that had a leak like this and that it could not be fixed until they were able to cut the water off. Next morning, we did not have any hot water. The bathroom also appeared to not be clean. However, the next day, we were given a better room. All of the rooms appeared to be really small.

I stayed at this property 2.5 years ago. It was “ok” then- but has definitely gone downhill since. We had no cold water at all the first night. There were questionable stains on the bedding and bedskirts. The plumbing fixtures were dirty, and the bathroom in general was severely aged/outdated. The carpet was actually sticky and badly stained. The entire property interior needs a BestWestern package update. Would not stay here again.

The location was good. There were no usb plugs. For todays times a bit outdated. Room was pretty clean. No clock. Staff was awesome,which is a biggie for us. Would stay again.

Upon arrival the system was down for check in and had to wait. Elevator was very slow and 1 was out of service. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Hotel overall was pretty clean. Very noisy at hotel. Not much sleep at all for the travel home the next day.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and was impressed by the level of upkeep, customer service and overall amenities for the price point. The breakfast is great and kept well stocked throughout the morning. The front desk staff is kind and very helpful and both day and night shifts remembered me from my first stay. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. This may be my go-to hotel for my monthly business trips to Winston Salem!

I checked in last night and the person at the desk didn’t have uniform on, seemed like he was the Environmental Staff. It took him forever to get my reservation pulled up when I made it online. The room was great and peaceful. This morning I was disturbed by I guess the security guard addressing another man about if he was staying there. The gentleman was a guest and it was the wrong place to do what he did in the front breakfast area. The front desk lady this morning dress was so short her underwear were showing and her piercings were not appropriate. Once again no one was in uniform or a name badge. It felt like random people off the streets were working this shift.

I spoke with the Manager Pam Gravely during checkout and informed her that the cleaning staff did not clean my room on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Although the sign clearing indicated my request to have the room cleaned, they did not. The Manager (Rick) on duty Sunday evening, stated the sign needed to be posted prior to 9:30 a.m. This policy was not posted and when asked where is it written, Rick replied, "that is just how it is done." Pam refuted Rick's statement. At approximately 10:20 a.m., while preparing for checkout, a cleaning staff member forced entry into the room while a family member was using the bathroom, after being asked to stop and return later.. When told she was in error, she explained she had to get the room cleaned. Manager Pam Gravely stated she would speak to her and then instructed me to provide her contact information to Expedia so I can be refunded for Saturday, June 21, 2025. Her contact information is P 336-893-7540. Pam Gravely stated she is at the hotel up until 1:00 p.m. week days and all day on the weekend's. She let me know she is documenting this concern and upon your contact, she will refund Expedia's credit card and Expedia in return will refund mine.

Parking lot is difficult to maneuver, especially in a bigger vehicle. Only one way to enter and exit is not safe. Check in staff was not friendly or professional.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were some reviews that scared us before we arrived, but the hotel was clean and the service was phenomenal. Each person working the front desk was kind and helpful. Robert, who was cleaning and helping with breakfast, was exceptionally great! Overall, we were glad we chose this hotel and would stay here again.

The staff was super friendly, we asked if we could check in early becase our plans changes and the staff made it happen within an hour. The best sleep I've had at a hotel in years. The bed was so comfortable and it was quiet for the most part.

Overall it was average. The Shower head leaked. The fan of the heat/air unit would literally not shut off. I had to unplug it to make it stop. It wasn't dirty but wasn't exactly clean. We were thee to go to the hospital across the street. There isn't a way to cross the street! We had to uber. That's not the hotel's fault - just providing information.

Beds are a but firm, but they work for a one night stay. Breakfast is the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Complete with eggs, pancakes, sausage, potatoes that were really good, biscuits and gravy.

The desk staff was wonderful. My room was comfortable with shower pressure and water temperature very good. Breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, I arrived at 9. There was a spoonful of scrambled eggs in a pan that had collected a lot of condesation. Bananas are a personal preference but these were very overripe for me. I didn’t check the pancake station since I don't eat them, I didn’t notice any yogurt. I decided to just toast a bagel to have with cream cheese but there was no cream cheese. At that point I gave up. I rate the breakfast part of my stay very disappointing. All other parts were good.

Property is in excellent condition especially for the price. Clean rooms. Great location. Breakfast was nice but the “hot” items were warm off the line. They turned cold too quickly . They could have been hot off the line instead of warm.
