Americas Best Value Inn Beatrice

The property was older and in need of maintenance. There is nothing wrong with age as long as things are maintained. This property exhibited a general lack of maintenance by the management.

Hotel was very dated. Bathroom was bad bad. New carpet which was nice. Air Conditioning worked but could not hear the TV over the top of it. No ice. But not sure I would have used ice out if it anyway. Eeek.

This property was clean and affordable but could use some TLC and upgrades. Bldg. shoes a lot of wear and tear.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. There was a foul smell that permeated through the hall way, including my room. The sheets were stained. There was a mysterious stain on the wall. There was a hole in the shower ceiling. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The pillows had stains. The mattress was Walmart brand quality. There was a late 1990's/early 2000's white F-150 with a blown tire and the cab PACKED with junk parked next to the building. This is a cheap and extremely low quality hotel. I was in the room about 30 minutes and decided that I was NOT staying the night there. I put my personal belongings in the car, turned my key into the front desk, and got another room in town for the night. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staff friendly, good service. Room clean and comfortable bed. Building was older but they were sprucing it up. Breakfast was a little light but for what we paid it was adequate. Would stay there again.

An older motel but is clean and really nice couple who run it.

The property was unattractive from the outside, but the halls, stairways, and rooms were clean. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and smelled fresh, and with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable but the top cover had an unpleasant odor. Bathroom fixtures were old and worn, and very bright light shone around the window drapes all night. The breakfast was adequate but mostly pre-made or pre-purchased. The breakfast area needed a thorough cleaning.

You get what you pay for, but even this was below substandard. This location was repulsive in every way imaginable, save for bed bugs, to which we inspected the headboard and bed liner 2 minutes of entering our room. Room smelled like wet carpet and wet dog, broken lampshades, two beds, both mattress with a curl and felt unstable, mold around the toilet and the ceiling above the shower seemed as though it was caving in. We paid for 2 nights, and packed up the following morning, left (as instructed by the very friendly clerk at front desk) our key card in the hotel room with no intentions of EVER returning to hotel, to which we visited Beatrice at least once a year. If you visit Beatrice, which is a wonderful place, drop the extra dough on staying at AT LEAST the Victorian Inn, although the Home2 holiday inn is by far the best choice to stay in in town, although the Victorian Inn has an irreplaceable charm to it.

Found discarded tissues under the bed and dresser. Something had been splattered on the wall then allowed to run down the wall and dry but had never been cleaned off.

Place was dirty. Dirty sheets drywall wet and falling apart. Smelled bathroom was disgusting was scared to take a shower

Our stay was okay in the room with a king size bed that was comfortable. There was a disappointment in their breakfast that was not a hot breakfast as advertised.

This is an economy hotel with great accomodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will return.

The staff was a bit difficult to get ahold of at first; we had to hit the "locate" button on the phone. However, once we got ahold of them, everything else was quite smooth and very good.

The staff was very helpful and understanding.

We traveled here for my brother's funeral. The staff here were not aware of the reason for our stay, however they were very courteous & professional. I do not always feel comfortable staying in motels when traveling but our stay here was a very good experience. If we ever need accommodation here again in the future, this will be our go-to spot.
