North Conway Grand Hotel

This property is SO CHILD FRIENDLY! From the moment you check in, they offer complimentary juice and cookies. There are kid friendly activities throughout the day from movies in the movie theater to ice cream socials and games. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a market basket and outlets next door. Totally recommend grabbing pizza and sandwiches at MB. Their prices and pizza are both great! It's a 5 minute drive to downtown N Conway and about 10-15 minutes to story land. The rooms are comfortable. Beds are comfortable but the blankets are very light - if you like a heavier blanket, I suggest you bring one with you. The only con would be that the rooms are very dry. If you have a baby, like we did, I would recommend bringing a humidifier. We all came back with a cold due to the dry conditions. Indoor pool is very cold. Outdoor pool is the perfect temperature. The kiddie pool is also freezing so our littles enjoyed the outdoor pool best. We loved the kid sized robes that were provided in the room! Food choices at the restaurant are so so for lunch and dinner. The restaurants in the area close early and some don't take takeout orders so plan accordingly. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is good. Coffee is a bit watery but I like strong coffee so that's more of a personal feel. There's free complimentary charging for EV vehicles too which is awesome and so convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

The North Conway Grand Hotel is a lovely property with welcoming service and an overall enjoyable atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub area left something to be desired during our stay. The water in both had a noticeable amount of debris, and at no point did we observe any cleaning or maintenance being done. In addition, the hot tub temperature fluctuated significantly—at times it was barely warm, which was disappointing. With some attention to pool and hot tub upkeep, this hotel could easily elevate the guest experience to match its otherwise strong offerings.

The hotel was drastically over booked, many many large groups-couldn't even walk. Couldn't use the pool (indoor and outdoor), couldn't sit on the couch in lobby. Kids were very disappointed couldn't use any of the amenities which was the reach we booked the hotel for my sons birthday.

Great service and staff. The property itself is nice but could use some updating. The pools are good and the outdoor area is great for gatherings, but the outdoor fireplace was not working. Overall good stay and would recommend

The hotel is always great, with lots of activities for kids. I just wish they'd consistently heat their indoor pool and hot tub to comfortable temperatures

The property is very nice and has quite a few amenities with an indoor and outdoor pool, a workout area, an outdoor playground and a pickle ball court. These amenities do not come free, however, and you have to pay slightly more than $23 per day per room as a resort fee. The hotel does have a good location in the town of North Conway and if there is a rainy day, it is right next to an outlet shopping mall area, which is quite extensive.

I was disappointed that I paid a resort fee on top of my room fee and the indoor pool and hot tub was closed, and it looked like they have not offered to use the fire pit in a while Over all it was a nice stay

We really wanted to use the indoor pools but they were closed. The ice maker on our floor was broken. We really could habe used some ice.

Loved the pool. Had to have heat in room fixed. But they fixed it and all was well.

The first room I was checked into had dirt in the shower and little worm like insects crawling around. The next room I checked in to, I killed 3 spiders upon entry and the Ac/heating unit was completely rusted and hanging off the wall. Do better. You didn’t do North Conway any justice.

We enjoyed out mini getaway. Loved the jacuzzi room and really enjoyed the outdoor heated swimming pool. We had a wonderful time

All of the pools were dirty, with leaves and hair floating around—definitely not inviting. For the high price, it was frustrating to learn that breakfast wasn’t included, though ironically, it ended up being the best part of the stay.

At the grand hotel, New Hampshire, I definitely will not be going back there. I feel like it was a very dirty hotel. It smelled the rooms weren’t that clean that hotel needs a total refurbishment

The property itself was very nice in the lobby, but I bought a room for 3 days which was a suite. You would expect it to be nice but the in-room hot tub was not clean there was dirt and debris when I started the system along with no kitchenette in the room The room felt like a motel 6

When we initially walked into the room we noticed it smelled terrible. We found that one of the pillows on the couch smelled like puke. Then when we moved the pillow and gave it to the cleaning crew we discovered dried puke on the couch, in multiple spots. There was also random receipts and stickers under the bed we cleaned up ourselves.

3 night stay out bathroom sink was dirty with shaven hair in it upon arrival, bed spread had a dark stain & pillow had a stain. Entertainment center was dusted where you could see where they didn’t clean it. Pool had a ring of dirt & what looked like sand around the edge water was murky. Lots of trash in the parking lot & cigarette butts

The location was convenient and check-in was easy. However, the property was disappointing due to it's wear and tear and being dated.

Loved the property, except they put us right by the elevator and were woken up every half hour by kids and people yelling and coming in and out of the elevators

The property is starting to show its age and the in-room air conditioner unit was quite loud and it rattled a lot. Other than that, no complaints.

Asked for a quiet room and was put above the outside pool. Adults get quite rowdy and despite quiet hours starting at 10, adults only hours are from 10-11 so you can only imagine... Asked to be switched and no one was at the desk - then finally got ahold of someone and they said no more rooms available. The thermostat didn't work so the room was baking.

Air-conditioner in room very noisy. Lack of blackout curtains meant room was too bright from parking lot lights.

The room was too small for the furniture - a couch had been added to the room (not at our request) that blocked access to the window and heat/AC unit. Although there was a Honeywell heat/AC controller on the wall that didn't adjust the temperature. The controls that did were on the unit itself. We realized that after our first warm night. Overall the hotel is nice, the staff are very friendly and the location is convienient to the outlets but it definitely could use some upgrading (including the bathroom plumbing).

The bathrooms so small the door cant even open and the toilets built for toddlers. No breakfast included

The room was clean,but I found the bed very uncomfortable. The mattress was very hard.

My card was double charged and when I tried to find out what happened they had no idea and took awhile to get the problem fixed which left us with very lottle money for the rest of our vacation and wasn’t even giving so much as an apology for it happening

The shower drain did not work and neither did the sink drain. Staff was not helpful or friendly when helping us move to a different room or discussing options with us.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Any time I had a question, they answered thoroughly and never acted like I was bothering them

Our first night the AC didn't work it blew out hot air. I went to the front desk asking for help. 3 times, it was never resolved. I was told to open the window. The woman working the desk just didn't seem to care. The next day Kaydee was working the front desk and within 10 minutes of telling her the issue, she has us moved to a new room. She was super sweet and apologetic. This is a property for families with small children

This customer service here is horrible. When we checked in I was told they were charging us a$24.99 service charge for booking thru a third party for “incendentials”. Kids running up and down the hallway screaming and we notified the front desk and they ignored the complaint

For a hotel rated with 4 stars, I expected a higher level of professionalism and courtesy. We stayed for 2 nights (Thursday/Friday). Our room was 'cleaned' Friday. However, it was more of a "straighten up" - our bed was not remade - it was just straightened up and our pillows were not freshened. The decorative pillows were lying on the floor and never placed back on the bed. There was a function hosted in a conference room right outside of our room, which went to 11:30pm Friday night. However, there is a sign/policy at the hotel that "quiet time" starts at 10pm. Additionally, there was a morning breakfast on Saturday - which again was fairly loud and disruptive. When we checked out, the front desk employee never asked how our stay was. Also, for the nightly rate we paid for Friday (in particular - as it was 2x the rate on Thursday night), I would've expected better service, a cleaner room and a room/facility that stood up to a 4 star rating.

It sounded like there was a washing machine above us all night! The buffet in the morning didn’t accept cash! And the when I went to check out they called me and told Me My card was declined! Guess what! They were trying to DOUBLE CHARGE me! We have stayed here before and never had any issues but honestly we won’t be back/

We booked three rooms at the resort for a delightful family long weekend getaway. We arrived bright and early at 11 am, and to our pleasant surprise, two of our rooms were already prepared for us. This allowed us to check in early without any additional fees, which was a wonderful start to our stay. Upon settling in, we encountered a minor inconvenience, but the staff was quick to address it, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. As a gesture of goodwill, they generously provided us with nine complimentary breakfast vouchers, which turned out to be an excellent perk! The resort is truly family-oriented, offering a plethora of amenities designed for relaxation and enjoyment. While the adults were able to unwind at various spots around the property, the kids were in their element, playing happily on the expansive playground and splashing around in the two outdoor pools, as well as the indoor pool. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff was not only friendly but consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had access to fresh towels near the pools and in the sauna areas. Their attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location of the resort is remarkably convenient, situated right next to bustling shopping areas and a market basket, which made it easy for us to pick up essentials during our stay. Overall, we had an unforgettable time. We can not wait to visit again soon! Thank YOU!

It was a very relaxing environment! Staff were courteous and very attentive. We will not hesitate to stay there again while in the North Conway area!

Hotel is very nice. However, the employees are TERRIBLE. Not one nice person in that building. Was afraid to ask a question because they all had attitudes. The room was ok, the heating unit though… extremely hot and unable to adjust the temperature.

The location is ideal for just about everything.

Easy checkin, cookies and juice in lobby. Heated outdoor pool got crowded for 30 minutes, but then went back to tranquil. Walk to outlets and grocery store is 4 min walk. Room amazing with robes for adults and kids! Would definitely stay again

The hotel is next to the outlets and the room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. We found the food to be just warm and eggs were dry. Since we didn’t like that buffet, we skipped all the dinner buffets during our stay and ate elsewhere.

The hotel is nice but the rooms could use an update. The staff was nice. Heated outdoor pool and arcade are great for families. If you are choosing this hotel for the restaurant/bar don’t bother. Beer and wine only, Friday night and the TV wasn’t even on. Food and beer is way overpriced with beer almost $9/bottle. Overall it’s a descent place to stay.

Was told upon check in that the restaurant would be closed when we are staying. I wouldn’t have booked this place if I knew they were closed.

not my cup of tea. Pool was not adequate too shallow. $18 buffet breakfast was unexceptable I eat an egg and a slice of bacon or a muffin so had to leave the hotel to get an affordable breakfast. Dinner menu was not impressive

Great location near shopping in North Conway. This was a quick escape from the grind of work, and the location near shopping and dining was excellent. Front desk and staff are very friendly, including toward "third party" booking guests. While we did not spend enough time to take advantage of spa resources, they are available onsite. The place is in need of some repairs and maintenance, but is actually in pretty good shape for the the property age. HVAC was a bit difficult to make comfortable. Bed and linens were good quality. Robes in the room are a nice touch. We had dinner in the bar/lounge, and that was a pleasant experience with good and friendly service.

The hotel was nice but the breakfast wasn’t that great! And the price you pay for the hotel you should have a free continental breakfast!

Restaurant was under staffed at night and the bacon in the morning was way undercooked in my opinion

Rooms were nice, clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was not free. 22 pp. and received no service during our meal.

Pretty good! The outdoor pool and hot tub made all the difference. The room was okay. The water in the shower only ever got warm not hot. Also, the restaurant and bar wasn’t open for dinner. Friendly staff.
