Very clean and quiet. A nice pool for the kids. Easy walking.

I've stayed at the Colonial Motel several times because it is always clean and reasonably priced. Enjoy the pool also.

Everyone there was very friendly. Room was perfect, very clean and recently updated. Would definitely return.

Great spot in the summer, there's a pool. Easy walk to town & restaurants. Staff was great & went out of their way to help us with a messed up tv. The views are great & it's beautiful in the fall. The rooms are clean & have a fridge & microwave. There's also a fire pit in the common area. We've stayed before & will most certainly be back.

Excellent property. Awesome owner / Manager Nil. Very friendly and helpful. We were here 3 nights for Laconia Bikeweek. Many restaurants in walking distance. Nice courtyard with even a fire pit. Night manager Eban was a great source of local things to do and see. Even gave us a historical story of the railroad crash on Mt. Washington in the 70’s. Only issue is that we could not figure out on how to turn on the TV. We will return again.

Clean, inexpensive and super convenient to downtown North Conway. The staff was very accommodating. There’s a nice pool in the back, which we didn’t know about until we checked in. It’s not fancy but definitely a great deal for the area.

Have stayed here many times in past and it was clean and never issue this stay was horrible and 1st room was dirty tub and tub mat was beyond gross. Second room stunk. Will not be going back

Nice clean motel in a very convenient location. Nothing fancy, but large comfortable room with all the necessities. Breakfast not provided but there are plenty of places nearby to get breakfast. Great value for the price.

The Colonial does a fantastic job at keeping a clean, efficient room for travelers. The innkeepers are kind and accommodating - showcasing menus of local independent restaurants. No in-room coffee, but you have a mini-fridge and a microwave with two great indy cafes a nice walk past some local gems. If you want to be in the village and you’re not a princess, choose the Colonial.

Hotel had a convenient location. We had a room at the back of the building with a view of the pool and mountains beyond. We weren’t able to check in early, but when we went back we had a good welcome. No room servicing, but we were able to collect clean towels. The room was large and comfortable, but the whole place has definitely seen better days. Some things would be very easy to improve, like replacing shower curtain ( which was mouldy along the bottom) and cleaning the extractor fan ( which was very dusty)

Great location and price; staff seemed friendly! Unfortunately our room in the back smelled of smoke and had water damage on ceiling and bench. Bathroom had black stains on mirror and damage to wall. One of the beds had a large stain on sheets. Our friend had room in the front and seemed much nicer. Not a horrible stay…maybe just our room needed updating. Kids had lots of fun in pool!

Only down side was the shower pressure as it changed it went from scolding to cold

This is always a good affordable property in the North Conway area. A tip though. Do not accept one of the lower rooms that you have to go around the back for. If you do the people upstairs will keep you up all night. And they're not trying to keep you up all night it's just the way the place is built their footsteps sound extremely loud.

The hotel was perfect for our girls shopping trip. The only issue was, the beds were extremely hard.

This hotel is great if you’re looking for something convenient to downtown North Conway with a low price tag. The pool was clean and parking was great. My big complaint is that the water went from super hot to super cold and back again in the shower. I couldn’t get it to stop changing. But other than that, this is a good option at a great price.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. TV worked great, good variety of channels. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee in the room. No breakfast, but that's not a problem for me. I prefer to eat in local restaurants. Walking distance to a couple of good restaurants. Good parking right in front of room.

This is a great low budget option. The place is clean and convenient but it is old and has not had upgrades that would make it more modern, but would increase the price.

A very nice and affordable stay. My only gripe is the wifi is very slow.

Great location. A big drawback is that wi-fi worked only if you walked-up closer to the office (we stayed in the furthest from the office room). The tables and floors in the bathroom felt sticky. Other than that, a nice place to stay.

Clean and comfy, close to town center. We come for the jetted tubs.

Stayed at the motel to hike. A shower/bathtub with a whirlpool was a treat after hiking 12 miles over 10 hours. The rates are an excellent value.

Service was great! I called Neal and was able to get our rooms next to each other and add an extra night for one room no problem. Easy check in and check out, rooms were very clean, beds super comfortable (firm mattresses!!!), and bathroom was pretty and very clean! Really enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room. Definitely worth more than what we paid, but was grateful to have an affordable and clean room for our family.

Great service, easy checkin, and very accommodating

To start off we had poor internet connection and hotels.com charged us twice for the room and I'm still working at getting a refund for 1 of the charges because the Colonial Motel has to agreee to refund us and they haven't. The parking is strange, your assigned spot isn't near your door. We were out back and that means on the lower level. All you could hear was people walking loudly above us -All. Night. Long. Lobby was small but inviting, except for the large bullet proof glass partition. When I tried to converse with the Desk Staff he was quite rude amd would only say "ID" no matter what question I asked. I wonder if he didn't speak English. He didn't offer me a receipt either. I tried to fill my info out on the check in sheet (address and phone etc), but he rudely and loudly said "No! Sign only!" So I signed the form and he gave me a key. He said "23 in back". I asked what the wifi password was because the key card envelope said "wifi password is.... room # is...." and neither was filled in. He said "23" I pointed to the words and asked for the password again. He said it and then said "Go now". Shocking. The room was disappointingly tiny. There was a nice mini fridge against a wall, a chair shoved under a mirror, a small dresser with tv on it and then jacuzzi corner-tub crammed together on 1 wall. Other wall had chair and bed. Bathroom didn’t have space either. Nothing seemed very clean. Ice bucket had stains. I didnt see a machine anywhere around. No phone.

This was my third stay here in two years. All three experiences have been perfect. Very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. Evan at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. I will be back in N Conway in the Fall and will absolutely be staying here again!

Despite being paid in full on line owner then insisted on credit card on file then proceeded to charge card a second time. When asked for receipt denied and come back in an hour for credit. This is third time in three stays owner pulled this. Also tried to do it to person in line behind me. This is not errors. It is deliberate attempts to charge each guest double

Eban in the office was so nice and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, location is perfect and very affordable price.

They wanted to tape our key on outside of office door because we would be coming late. No one on duty and office locked after 9-10. We didn’t feel safe doing this. Went to eat instead and then went back for key. Different man there who did not speak any English. Kept asking me for my room number. Told him I did not have one yet. He kept asking same question. Ask where the other man was and and he shrug shoulders because he didn’t understand. He finally went out back and a young lady came out and asked for room number. Told her didn’t have one yet. She asked for ID. Said oh I see and gave me a room key and I had to sign a paper. There were stains on the bedspread. That looked like oil that went through to blanket. Door did not latch tight. Could have easily pushed it open.

Super Quick checkin. Staff are excellent. Good value for the price. Walkable area and convenient to restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay. The room was very, very clean. The highlight our stay was Eban, the one man show! He was very polite and helpful. He checked us, and even built us a campfire. He went above and beyond to make a great stay.

Centrally located

This is a motor lodge located on the main thoroughfare in North Conway. The motel is just down the street from the main shopping area and town center, and easily walkable. It is about a 10-15 minute drive from Story Land. Rooms are simple but clean, as was the pool and grounds. Parking is convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Most guests were families or older folks. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Highly recommend staying at the Colonial Motel if you're going to be in the area. My wife and I wanted a spot close by Mt. Washington so we could hike and then enjoy a nice night before and after said hike. Colonial is a clean and cozy motel and checked off all the boxes we needed. Staff was very friendly and even called us and walked us through the check-in process as we were arriving late. Great location in North Conway, right next to the main street with numerous restaurants and shops close by. We will definitely be looking to stay here the next time we are in/near the Conway area!

We had a great time, our room was near the pool, was quite comfortable & clean. The hotel is walking distance to lots of fun restaurants and shops. The Saco River is nearby, also a wooded area for hiking or mountain biking. I would highly recommend this place.

This was our second time staying at the Colonial Motel in the past four years, and it was as good as we remembered from the first time. The location is great, in the heart of North Conway village and walkable to many things. The room was spacious and super-clean and nicely appointed. The two front desk people I dealt with were eager to help with any issue, from more coffee for the maker in the room to dining suggestions. There’s a nice pool around back with a grassy area that would be good for kids (it’s not visible from the street). We’ll definitely stay there again next time we visit! I like supporting a family run motel that’s fairly priced and shows pride in ownership, as that can be hard to find nowadays.
