The front desk clerk was very friendly during check in and check out. The facility itself was dimly lit, smelled of cigarettes and body odor, and had many dis functional or broken aspects in the room. Or lamp was broken, the sink had spit residue on the faucet, the linens smelled of cigarettes. The neighbors were slamming doors and making noise late into the night. Unfortunately we will not be staying at this facility again.

The room was clean and very nicely appointed. The hotel itself was tucked away behind a McDonalds and the location seemed a little sketchy but the parking lot was well lit, clean and we had no issues.

There were ants and other bugs in the first room we got. Housekeeping never cleaned. Poop left in toilet. Stains/filth on towels. Parking lot was torn up and hard to drive into the hotel. Staff were rude to me. Tried to charge my card twice. Asked for my card a second time after swiping it and handing it back to me - a second employee said I needed to pay for the room although I told him I just paid.

Decent place, clean, however the heating units were LOUD! And the parking lot lights are so bright even with the shades shut. We ended up leaving at 2am because we could not get sleep at all from these 2 annoyances.

An unattractive location, streets in poor condition. Required $100 deposit against damages felt insulting and made us wonder about location's experiences with their normal clientele. Breakfast was too little, too late (not open early enough). Room condition was OK, with good daily maid service.

The service at the front desk was very pleasant. However, the room was in very poor shape. The bathroom was not cleaned whatsoever with grime in the bathtub and sink. There was a significant amount of black colored mold on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. The walls were over plastered poorly and there were various unknown substances on the walls of the room.

There was brown matter accumulated in the crevices of the toilet seat hinges and black mold growing on the hairbrush cord. When I walked in the toilet was running constantly, but I was able to fix it by removing the lid and jimmying the toilet dump valve. The top of the lid was dirty as if it’s never cleaned. The lighting was inadequate at best and can be assumed to be kept dim to aid in the ease of not cleaning.

The tub was full of hair with blue staining the bottom of the tub, and there were very sketchy people constantly sitting around in the parking lot. Lady at the desk handled the tub issue with the clogged hair but still it took away from the fact I paid for a clean room not a dirty one. Will not be coming back to this one.

The hotel was good the beds were decent but the place is in disrepair. Windows in our room didn’t close all the way- we could hear people in the hallway at night and parking lot because of the window. It was affordable for a quick overnight stay and it was in a safe area with quick access to everything.

old, barely maintained property. All the furniture was scratched. There was only 1 light in the room. No others worked. Room had bare minimum furniture. Bathroom was old and dimly lit. Ppl should be paid to stay here! Overall, very disappointed and will never stay again.

Although some areas were refreshed. You can tell that it’s only lightly cosmetic felt dated even with that. Areas that staff use I could see from walking around seemed to need the same attention. Bed: Mattress and pillows were comfortable. But the only blanket was very thin and the coverlet was just a thin decor piece that felt like a curtain. I prefer to have enough bedding to be comfortable duvet etc Smart TV would be better so you can stream your accounts or airplay mode. We checked in later in the evening and left early in the morning so we were not there very long. The people above us were quite noisy at 3am, there was a spider in the bathroom and the blankets were very thin. The tv was not HD. The people were very nice and pleasant though.

the staff answered my questions. they are friendly and professional each time I stay. very accommodating if you need to check in later than 3 pm check-in and check out was quick n easy. no problems or difficulties with neighbors and rooms on either side of mine. was so calm and quiet, felt like I was the only one in the whole place. 😊 even recommended a couple place to 🐟 and get food

Absolutely wonderful staff!! I highly recommend staying here! The room was very clean and comfortable, very reasonable pricing, and just all the way around a very pleasant check in after a long journey! I have to give the front desk check in an extra 5 stars!!

I called ahead to let the front desk know that we would be checking in later that evening, around 10 PM. The woman at the front desk acknowledged it, and said that she would be there to greet us. NO ONE was there when we got to the hotel. Waited for 30 minutes until the woman came down. She was disheveled and appeared to have just woken up. I don’t know how she could have slept considering how loud we were ringing the bell. There was a sign on the front desk with a phone number. Every time I called, the front desk would ring, but nobody was there to answer it except for us. I tried calling the one 800 number and the only thing they did was try to sell me points. I didn’t want points, I wanted to go to my room! Once we got into the room, there were dried bugs and bug remnants in the bathroom and near the door. My husband woke up to a large bug crawling on him that he threw across the room and could hear it hitting the TV. Gross, never again!

Lady on night shift was not only rude and mad disrespectful. But when I showed up at 11:30-12:00 and she was in the office with the door open and nodding off on her self and took ten mins to get her attention. Room was gross and when I told manger next day I was told to leave and DONT come back along with with the lady that loves sleeping standing up from the night before coming out of a side door while putting my stuff in the car running her mouth and telling me that I was told to leave.. happy I did rather sleep in the grass outside the place. Word of advice DONT stay here!!!! Not worth the headache.

Facility was nice and clean but the shower water temperature was not warm enough and we waited and called for ten minutes to be able to check in before anyone came to the front desk. That was even when we called the number at the front desk for check in if no one was at the desk. It was not late - 6:00 pm or so and no obvious reason for any delay. It was quite inconvenient.

we pulled into the parking lot and they were homeless people in the doorway. There was a drug deal going on in the parking lot. We didn’t even go inside. We tried to cancel and you’ll notice we booked on Expedia at another place and had a great experience at Steele Hill. I was asking to be refunded for this since we never even stayed
we pulled into the parking lot and they were homeless people in the doorway. There was a drug deal going on in the parking lot. We didn’t even go inside. We tried to cancel and you’ll notice we booked on Expedia at another place and had a great experience at Steele Hill. I was asking to be refunded for this since we never even stayed

Only needed a room for one night. The room we were in (201) had clearly been busted into recently by emergency services. Mix that with the blood drops on the sheets and you can only guess what happened. Food was good. Coffee was not. Staff was very friendly.

An unattractive location, streets in poor condition. Required $100 deposit against damages felt insulting and made us wonder about location's experiences with their normal clientele. Breakfast was too little, too late (not open early enough). Room condition was OK, with good daily maid service.

I usually stay in higher end hotels so this is not what I am accustomed to. With that said, it was pretty good value and overall a good stay. The workers were helpful and pleasant and the included breakfast was good.

It'a an older Super 8. So I knew what to expect. All of the staff was great! It is a dated hotel but priced right. It was a Nascar race weekend. So $120 for weekday and $290 for a Friday, Saturday stay. Comfortable beds with blackout curtains. The bathrooms need to be updated. The breakfast was good with lots of options.

Although some areas were refreshed. You can tell that it’s only lightly cosmetic felt dated even with that. Areas that staff use I could see from walking around seemed to need the same attention. Bed: Mattress and pillows were comfortable. But the only blanket was very thin and the coverlet was just a thin decor piece that felt like a curtain. I prefer to have enough bedding to be comfortable duvet etc Smart TV would be better so you can stream your accounts or airplay mode. Unfortunately, The room smelled almost musty when we initially entered but seemed clean. Staff that we interacted with it’s was friendly. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked and had decent options for quick meal

We like this Super 8 in Tilton, NH! The front desk is very friendly. Our room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good quality and tasty with quite good variety. So it’s a nice place for us to spend our short vacation in Tilton-Laconia area! Thanks for the good services in this hotel!

Nice, clean and well maintained property. I thought I would be compromising quality for a lower priced room, but that was not the case. This room was great and the breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again.!

You get what you pay for here! There were crumbs all over the floor under the desk when we entered the room. We then found what looked to us like 2 bedbugs on/near the bed (per a Google image search,) we brought it to the managers attention. He offered us a refund for the night, but he seemed otherwise entirely unbothered by the fact that we found LITERAL BUGS in our room and on our bed! We were in town for a family medical emergency so leaving wasn’t an option and there were no other hotels within our budget, we absolutely would have left if we could have afforded it.
