They canceled my reservation without giving me any notice. Nowhere in my paperwork was there any mention of me needing to confirm my reservation by 4:00 pm of my day of arrival. I was able to get a room, but it cost $20 or so more. NOT HAPPY! The room showed years of “wear & tear.” I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The lighting was very glaring and unpleasant. The check-in was difficult, and then the keycards required once- or twice-daily reprogramming. The staircase steps are uneven. Half of the outlets were not functional. Good things: The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, the floor was clean, the bathroom was clean and in good repair. There was adequate hot water after the first night - I believe you were performing some necessary plumbing maintenance, and fortunately there was a notice saying so, so we remained at your motel rather than moving to another, anticipating the improvement. Housekeeping responded quickly to the problem of the inadequate number of towels.

Price was good. Room was generally clean and comfortable although bed was pretty firm. The rug by the front door smelled. There was a large bug carcass on the wall by the front door. The door was warped and had to be slammed hard (kicked) in order to close securely. Front desk clerk was nice but took quite a while to get off the phone when I was checking in.

Switched rooms multiple times. First room hair all over the sheets, last room roaches on the bed. YES ROACHES! Oh and I took a video. Ended up on the phone with Hotels.com for HOURS. The hotel refused to refund until the manager came in the next day. Absolutely DISGUSTING! Could not say enough horrible things about lack of cleanliness and possible health issues at this hotel

Very dirty place, bugs everywhere, all nonsmoking rooms are with very strong tobacco and weed smell, I tried to get different rooms and they all smell tobacco even when they say nonsmoking, that’s not a place to stay not even an hour, everyone smoking in the rooms entrance and very dirty, Expedia should remove that place from their list because the pictures are not the right one when searching for a place, their appearance is totally different than what we see in the Expedia catalog, it was awful experience, I couldn’t sleep at all

When I first booked this hotel, I saw nothing but amazing reviews. Once we started digging a bit further, we saw how terrible the motel really was. Everyone was giving it 0 - 1 stars and mentioning that there are cockroaches in the hotel. From the minute we walked in, we smelled weed and there was blasting music coming from several rooms. If there was a way to get my money back, I would.. I’ve never felt more disgusted and unsafe in a location before.

I am supposed to receive a refund on my visit because I didn't stay.. I couldn't stay the entire motel was infested with roaches.. I will never go there again.. I want my money back

Not sure why the reviews are not great because I was extremely happy with my stay. The checkin was easy, staff was not rude at all. The room was freshly painted, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable with clean sheets. There was a couple burn holes in the comforter but I was in a smoking room so that is to be expected. There was a couple rowdy neighbors but at 11pm they went inside and quiet. I slept very well. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again when work has me in the area again.

The room was nice but the people that live there was very loud and playing music at all hours i called the inn to see if i could be accomadated as my husband is blind and I needed a handicapped room the person that answered the phone could not answer any of my questions i really don't know if i would be staying there again

Convenient to the major highways and the interstate. My only issues were the a/c unit and the tightness of the bed to the a/c unit. The a/c unit is old and didn't cool very well. Second due to the desk it makes the bed way too close to the a/c unit. You have to side step to get into the bed.

BEWARE!! Very unfriendly. They gave us keys to a room being lived in (looked long-term) by a family. Then said they have no more double rooms available, but told the Expedia agent that they would not give a refund because they had issued us room keys.

Extremely shady, room was supposed to be non smoking but stunk so bad of weed and tobacco we had to leave immediately. Everyone sits out of their rooms half naked usually smoking, drinking or blasting music. Stay may be cheap but not worth your health and safety.

I have been staying at this hotel at least 6 times a year for 14years. I have noticed lots of full time family and less desirable people staying at this hotel. I have noticed what appears to be drug deals and middle of the night arguments occurring frequently. I will reconsider my next stay in Edison at another hotel property that is more comfortable and with less worry of safety. A shame actually.
