Stay was easeful and efficient for the area, and my room was quite clean (on par with other Marriott stays) I did not spend much time in the hotel and using amenities, which were sufficient. Some of the hotel could use general sprucing up, such as the pool and around the pool areas. There were signs that were dirty/ falling apart, and the outside “game area” was completely trashed and unkempt. The whirlpool was closed, and the inside pool area just felt musty, dark, weird and could use some painting and window cleaning. The outside pool area was fine, clean, and the pool was clean besides the typical bug or two. The pool was frigid however which was unenjoyable. Also, not the hotels fault but for a day or so there was a poor passed away bird on the grounds outside a hallway. and the stone work around the hotel grounds was looking quite messy, and could use some alive greenery. The photos def zhuzh-up the place compared to in person. But, the main common areas were warm, clean and well manicured. Overall, clean hotel which is a priority to me. Nice staff, and I would stay again in the future. You also have to pay $15 a night for parking, which is fine, however I feel unnecessary for the cost per-night for having only 1 car on premises per room.

Great indoor outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Shopping center 1 mile away with supermarket and restaurants. Quiet hotel peaceful area. Has complete Breakfast On site restaurant is Irish Pub style. Gym on site. On the Pricey side but caught a bargain weekday rate.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds. Good res restaurant. They have breakfast but its not complimentary. I only wish they had free coffee and tea in the lobby like some other hotels. They have a Starbucks machine you have to pay for.

The pool could use some staffing. People let their children run wild and in and out pool. We wanted to have a relaxing time at pool but it was over run by kids. Some type of staffing would be nice.

Good amenities, pool and workout area. Disappointed with the wi-fi connection.I had to join Bonvoy to use the wi-fi and I still could not connect. No wi-fi for my stay😒 Brianna at the front desk was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. I live locally and miss the spa. It was really great in the day.

I didn’t like that I didn’t have a microwave in my room had to request one I didn’t have an iron at this point I was over it.. and the bathroom shower was dirty like they didn’t clean it it had soap scum and floors had stains it was a lot of little things that didn’t sit well with me.

Our room was dusty and dirty. Crumbs on furniture, mold in bathroom tiles and hairs on counter near the TV. It was skeevy and shocking for 4 Star mariott property. Certainly will never go back and will think twice before booking at any other Marriott given their QC is clearly not working.

It was very loud. You could hear people in the hallway, blasting music, having a party both nights I was there. Had to call security from 1-3:30am and nothing worked. Towels smelled like sweat; like used gym towels and bathroom wasn’t clean. Nice hotel gym.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. The room was subpar. The mini-refrigerator, coffee machine, and desk light had been unplugged and the refrigerator smelled horribly. There was hair in the sink. Just didn't have that high quality room servicing that we expected with Marriott.

This Marriott is very convenient to the Garden State Parkway. It was a disappointment that there was no free internet, you have to book the room through Bonvoy for free internet. Seems like an outdated policy

We were initially put in a room right over the tavern. It was HORRIBLE. We were awakened multiple times due to noisy patrons screaming and laughing and partying. We called the front desk and complained but nothing was done. They should not out guests in those rooms on the weekends. They allowed us to move to another room the next morning, but they were less than apologetic and seemed indifferent about it all. They should have credited us for that night, if you ask me. We had two rooms for 3 nights so it’s not like we were staying for “free”. We spent nearly a thousand dollars in all but the room that first night was absolutely horrible.

The room did not have a window to view outside. The view from the window was to the lobby. You can see the buffet line and eating area. Internet was awful. Could not login for 2 hours. Made many calls to the front desk and no one was able to help me. The suggestion of moving to another room might help with WiFi. Room was basic. The price was a night was not cheap. Maybe my expectations were too high.

2 nights Woke up both nights the bed was the worst. The mattress needs to be changed ASAP. in the middle it sank in suffered from a bad back. Did not have a good night. Sleep at all. Was surprised, especially from Marriott hotel.

Didn’t have room keys for us. Lost our reservation. Rude front staff. No complimentary breakfast for everyone, but if I signed up for the FREE rewards then I could have the complimentary breakfast - just seems like a lot of extra steps for ultimately the same thing.

We arrived later in the evening around 10:15 pm. We called earlier and let the front desk know. When we checked in I asked “What time does the kitchen close?” I was told 10:45pm. We raced to the room tried to order room service. We were told no room service. We raced down stairs to the bar. It was 10:35. We asked for a menu. The bartender said the kitchen is closed. Apparently, the front desk and the kitchen are not in alliance. I spoke with the manager. He called kitchen we were able to get two Caesar salads with grilled chicken. 57.00 for two salads. Tasty but two salads for 57.00???

My daughter had over 30 rooms booked for her wedding and although most staff was pleasant, Friday nights concierge was completely unprofessional in handling the wedding party for the after party in their pub when we where told by the concierge on Thursday night wexwhere all set to have catered party in the pub

Staff was not forthcoming with the "parking fee." When I checked in I was only asked if I had a car with me. I was not told that there was a parking fee. They asked for a credit card for "incidentals only." That wouldve been another time that it wouldve been appropriate to inform me of the parking fee. It wasnt until I received my emailed bill that I saw a $15 parking fee. When I checked out I was just told I would be emailed my receipt. I called and was told "theres a sign in the parking lot." It felt very sneaky and I didnt like it. I will not be returning because of this. Otherwise, my family enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

Check in was easy, and fairly quick. Rooms are basic, beds were clean and fairly soft. For some reason they feel the need to charge you to park your car there, pretty crazy. The hotel is away from anything and more than enough parking, no reason to charge except an extra money grab from guests. I'd expect this from Motel 6, not a Marriot.

Great stay. I usually stay at this hotel when traveling to visit family. It’s convenient. Great location and staff are friendly. The bartending staff at the Irish pub are great! This also has an indoor / outdoor pool. Well maintained hotel.

Our cash bar was well stocked as far as I know---I only had time to grab one drink! But I didn't hear any complaints from my group of friends at our event. I did not have the breakfast---I have to say, at the prices charged for a stay at the Marriott, a free breakfast would have been appropriate!
