I specifically stayed here for the pool. I called to confirm pool is working prior and was told yes. Sadly it did not work the two days I was there. Really?!

The hotel was great. The room was clean and spacious. Sadly the TV did not work which I reported but told it was down to the weather but would clear but it didn't. Also having only one lift working was a real issue. On occasions it took up to 10 minutes for the lift to arrive so we took the stairs.

Booked a room with a king bed, got to the hotel and they only had a room with double beds. Staff was nice, and free parking which is excellent. Most of the advertised amenities were closed (pool, gym, etc.)

It was very clean and smelled fresh and clean, as if it was a brand new hotel. The breakfast was amazing! Chicken carnitas, flour tortillas, granola, waffle bar with fresh fruit and whipped cream, eggs, potatoes, etc. Room was clean and had all kitchen needs, we didnt need it, but good to know it was available. They have a basketball court, gym, and pool. We will definitely return. Note that there was a parking fee. I didnt realize until we left, but we figured the parking fee cost less than eating breakfast elsewhere.

When I booked the room I was notified that their laundry facility was under construction but not that the front entrance and gym was also under construction. While staying here the room was nice but was missing a significant amount of cutlery like spoons, plates and pans. We also had a clogged toilet and it made a mess, we called the front 3 times to clean but no one ever came. We then called for towels even went to the front desk and asked but never received them. I had to go looking on each floor to find a housekeeper to give me clean towels. Also our TV wasn’t working properly but since we couldn’t even get towels we just left that alone. The description of the hotel says that the rooms are sound proof but Sunday morning we could hear a man cursing out someone for an hour. I understand that they had a lot of renovations going on but what have appreciated them at least making an effort to accommodate us with the minor things that we asked for. The best to make for these issues would be some sort of refund.

I had an excellent stay at the Homewood Suites. My room, along with the lobby and hallways, was spotless. The breakfast offered a great variety and tasted fresh. The staff went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

My room was disgusting, there was blood stains on the bed sheets. Urine stains on the toilet, pubic hair on the bathroom floor, the room smelled like cigarettes, the sofa was disgusting with stains, the kitchen floor wasn’t mopped it had stains.

The hotel overall is nice. With really generous breakfast. The staff is very friendly. But the room we stayed was very terrible. I was on my meeting till late and when i came to hotel my family was not happy at all. There was distinct bad smell of human urine. The floor was very dirty and sticky. Carpet smells very disgusting. Beds and sheets are not fresh. The coach should be ages on the junkyard already. I was really disappointed. I rare write bad reviews but this was very frustrating. Still have feelings of disgust of smell and dirtiness. Hope the will do remodeling and change carpets and clean rooms more carefully.

We booked a suite with a king bed. The room was absolutely disgusting. There were stains all over the floor and around the bottom of the bed frame. We had to book another hotel down the street because the room was so dirty and gross. I would not recommend staying here.

Not clean. You can see coffee on counter, it wasn’t wiped. Sink same. Hair in bath sink. Paint peeling. Unbelievably beat super cheap vinyl love seat is featured item in room. Also— overgrown trees in parking lot completely coated cars with sap. I hate this place.

From the moment we arrived, we had a cigarette smoke smell in our room that only seemed to get worse as the night went on. The bathroom tiles were all cracked as the bathroom has seen better days and needs a refresh.

Wifi was very poor, laptop wouldn't connect. I'm able to connect instantly at all other hotels, front desk was no help. Conditioner and body wash were both empty in the shower. Breakfast was lacking and not comparable to the pictures on hotels.com.

It was a great stay! Very comfortable bed and clean newly renovated room. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Didnt use the pool but it looked clean. Pet friendly and had treats for myb dog at check in. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

It was mediocre. I’ve had better stays elsewhere. The couch in the living room was small and the bed was too hard. The water never gave me a clean feeling almost like it had moisturizer in it. And there was a lot of noise in the hallway late at night. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Nice property that has been remodeled. Didn’t have time for breakfast but last time it was great! Bed very comfortable and sleep was no issue. Shower was hot! Great place and plenty of parking, sport court, workout room and pool area! Great for families!

Hotel staff very unfriendly. When arrived to hotel room only two towels when it’s a room that sleeps five. Not an ounce of shampoo in the dispenser. When asked for more towels the next day, they never came. Not happy with the service

My check-in took a half hour as computer system was down and there were two people in front of me. Once I checked in, my room was clean and quiet. In the night, people were walking the halls and making noise on a Saturday night. Also the air quality was poor as there was a smoky smell. The parking lot had black ice. I was disappointed for a hotel under the Hilton brand.

Justin at the front desk was AMAZING. Always willing to accommodate. “Yes we can” or “would this work better” only positive responses from him. There was a little issue with the heating but all in all … my stay was good. Good choice since NY wasn’t a far drive

Sonesta ES Parsippany is in a great location in terms of access to major highways. Lots of great eating spots close by if you choose to eat out. In suite kitchen facilities were adequate for our purposes. Our room was clean and generally in good condition. We found noise in adjoining rooms traveled easily through the walls. The breakfast buffet was adequate, the dining room was large and having direct access to outdoor dining was a nice amenity. We found all hotel staff to be very personable and accommodating. The facility met our needs and we would consider another Sonesta property in the future.

I stayed here when visiting NYC with my dog. The room was clean and recently renovated. Nice firm bed and there’s also a dishwasher in the kitchen in my room. Just over 30 mins from NYC so it was perfect for my day trip to the city. Only extra $50 per accommodation for the dog which was pretty good. I ended up staying there for 3 nights and will definitely go back. Thanks!

Very nice hotel convenient to the highway. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Could not hear any of my neighbors even though the hotel was full. Most importantly, great water pressure in the shower and did not take forever for the hot water to kick in.

My daughter enjoyed her party with a few friends. The pool was open until 10pm which was awesome! The breakfast was fine, I’m not a food person so I’m not picky but there was muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, french toast, coffee, hot chocolate..

This hotel will be amazing once renovations are finished. I booked the largest suite. Bedrooms were spacious but dining area was too small for all of us to sit at one table. There was only one desk and we could have used two, perhaps one in the King bedroom. The laundry room inside the building was not in operation during my stay. Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly. Breakfast had to be eaten in what looks like a conference room which also serves as a common room in the absence or a real lobby space. This was useful, however I noticed the lighting was very dim and tables were not wiped down after breakfast and a little sticky. Could be visited by maintenance and staff more often.
