Oyster Point Hotel

Great room with water view, parking was an issue due to the Thanksgiving holiday, needed more than one valet parking attendant. Would have received 5 stars had the Bar been open to residents in the evening(major faux pas)

A nice place to stay. Try always to book the rooms with the river view as it is extremely worth it. there is a bar and a restaurant inside the hotel, which make it very convenient, but the food choices are very limited. The rooms are clean and spacious, but they are missing some upgrades like having a decent coffee machine (Keurig or Nespresso) and a microwave. The area around the hotel is charming and there are many restaurants worth visiting.

The bedroom was great, with a comfortable bed and a great view. But the cramped and aged bathroom definitely needs to be redone. There was a bathtub but no lever for the drain and no separate plug, so it was not possible to take a bath. The “engineer” came and looked but said there was nothing he could do. The toilet struggled to flush. The small fitness center has a nice view, but to get to it you have to go down some worn out stairs to an odd corner of the hotel. Overall, a disappointment, especially considering how much I paid.

Have stayed here many times. Great location and solid hotel. Rooms are in dire need of updating though. So be prepared there. Food is excellent at Pearl restaurant on site.

We came to Red Bank to attend a performance at the Count Basie Performing Center. The hotel was within walking distance to the theater and downtown Red Bank with cute coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel bed was very comfortable with 9 pillows! They had a nice happy hour from 4-6 which we availed ourselves of! It’s located on the river and we had fantastic views of the river! I’d recommend this hotel!

Other than the denial to extend my check out an hour later, the hotel was great. Great location, parking was easy, breakfast was beautiful outside and food was great.

Good location. Good staff. Tired property. Dated/Poor rooms. Needs updating. Gym was closed with no potential opening date when I was there - I was asked to walk 5 mins up the road to their sister property to use their gym and it was 85 degrees with broken AC - also not usable.

Oyster Point Hotel is a great place to stay. The staff is very welcoming & courteous. The room was very clean and spacious. The view from our room was beautiful. The food was also delicious.

The room was spotless, and the staff was very professional and polite. Easy check in.

I really enjoyed my stay at Oyster Point. I am sorry that I couldn’t make a better review but after my husband walked around the room with white Sox on we were shocked to see the soles of the Sox were FILTHY. Please clean the rugs.

The view from our room was gorgeous and that lobby and restaurant are updated. Our room had scuffs all over the walls, moldy looking tile in the shower and everything was scraped and beat up. I was pretty disappointed. The staff was fine. It is nice walking distance from most things in Red Bank. We have stayed at the Molly Pitcher, same owners, and were much happier there. We could hear everything from every room around us, dogs barking, people peeing, quiet conversations, music and J don’t really think anyone was being rude or overly loud.

Views are lovely but rooms badly need overhaul -as usual plumbing sketchy —- shower/bath faucet leaked continuously and toilet appeared to be on the brink of giving up. Topper this time was (someone else’s) fresh green toothpaste spot on a supposedly clean towel hanging on back of bathroom door. Very gross and makes one wonder what else is being overlooked re cleaning. Positive shoutout to Pete the bartender who is lovely.

Property was close to my family when I was visiting for Thanksgiving. Great view and great room. My only concern was that the heating unit was incredibly noisy. I told the front staff this the first night but it wasn't fixed by the time I left on day two. Other than that a great stay! The restaurant downstairs is really convenient.

While the location is good, view was amazing and the room nice, the walls are paper thin! The person in the next room was lowering their shades and it sounded like they were in my room!

The rooms are nice, beautiful water views. The bathrooms should be updated to shower stalls, bo safety rails for elderly, dangerous climbing in and out of the tub. Shower was not working well.

I really wanted to like this hotel. Previous visits to the Count Basie Center we stayed at a lower cost option in Eatontown. I decided to stay here for the riverviews as an upgrade. Unfortunately, the riverview was through a multi-segmented window. The hvac unit was noisy and the refrigerator in our room was not working/unplugged. Also the smoke detector in our room was missing. As this was a one night stay, I did not complain until checkout and cannot opine on management's response. Will keep looking for a preferred Red Bank stayover.

There was a lot of noise from the elevators that I could hear from my room on the fourth floor. I could hear voices next door and below me as well. The room and staff were great other than that.

We had a short visit, but we’re fans of the Oyster Point. The rooms are clean, comfortable and updated, the view is just beautiful and the staff is excellent!

Overall my stay was ok but the tv signal would go in and out (mostly out) and that was annoying. Didnt realize there was no mini fridge so that was overlooked on my part when booking.

Check in was quick and easy. staff was friendly and the room was very clean.

Great staff working at this hotel. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. It's a sister hotel to the Molly Pitcher around the corner. The hotel gives off beach vibes. There's no pool at the hotel, but you can go over to the Molly Pitcher. Free coffee, tea and muffins in the mornings in the lobby.

We stayed here for one night for a girls trip. The location was good and the hotel rooms were a nice size and very clean. The operations of the hotel, though, left a lot to be desired considering what we were paying for the night. Check-in began at 3pm. We checked in at 4:30PM and had to wait 45 mins for our room to be ready. The hotel offered us a comped breakfast for our troubles, which was nice, but it was tough to have to wait that long for our room. When we went to breakfast the next morning, we were one of 4 tables in the restaurant and it took over an hour for us to complete our meal because of the slow service. By the time we got back to our room, they had already turned off our key card access to get back in even though we still had 10 mins left before checkout. Long story short, we expected a LOT more from this hotel and ended up leaving slightly disappointed from our stay.

I was checked in by Allen, he seemed a bit odd. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary & to see a concert on Saturday night. The food was excellent & the wait staff @ the restaurant was excellent. The bartender was great too! Our first room had broken blinds, was very dated & the AC was not adjustable, also the halls had no AC on the 5th floor. I called down to the front desk, Allen: he said he would send someone. Maintenance came up & switched us to an updated room with new AC on the 4th floor. He was very nice. I was charged 2 days earlier a higher rate & found out the rate was actually much lower. Allen refused to offer any adjustment & Expedia couldn't do anything because Allen refused stating that it was Expedia's responsibility, come to find out he could have done something but didn't. We were headed to the Matchbox 20 concert at the PNC Arts Center & I wanted to lock up my valuables. The safe didn't open. I advised Allen around 3pm. We were getting ready around 5:30 & leaving @ 6:30. I told Allen I needed this taken care of again. He seemed less than concerned about it. The guy finally came while I was in the shower which was awkward to say the least. While our updated room was nice & the restaurant was excellent I will not be stying there again as the dismissive attitude from Allen when issues arose coupled with him lying to me left a very bad taste in may mouth for this hotel.On a side note all the other front desk people were helpful.

Hotel is clean and staff were very nice. Only issue we had was the room we had was on the parking lot side of the hotel and was very noisy - trains going by, highway noise, etc. I’m guessing that the water view side is much nicer and quieter.

Spacious room with nice water view. Quiet location yet walkable to many dining and entertainment options. Definitely recommended.

Location by the water was a great view

The rooms are very nice and clean. The a/c unit was the loudest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, and the fan blows directly on the bed. Some people might like that, but there was no way to redirect the vents without moving a piece of furniture in from of the unit. Service at the restaurant for breakfast was slow. Our server disappeared for a half hour and there were no other workers available. Tables were getting very frustrated. Great location and view though.

Quick one night stay for business but the best part was the in-house restaurant, Pearl! Every single dish was amazing—tasty, generous portions, and beautiful presentation. A hidden gem on the Navesink!

Highlights: Spacious rooms with a view. Restaurant (Pearl) has truly amazing food. 100x nicer than the Molly Pitcher. They’re somehow the same price point, but they’re not even comparable. Free parking. Bar open until 11. Lowlights: The front desk people have a sour attitude. Free breakfast is bad. There are scores of dead fish outside the restaurant!! The view from the patio is lovely, but then if you look over the railing you will lose your appetite- there are dozens of dead fish floating right there! I saw some die right in front of me, it was really gross and sad, I hope they’re not using that water or fishing there.
