I chose this hotel because it is listed as having a pool. When my brother and I met here over the weekend, the 4 children in our party were extremely disappointed to discover that we had lied to them. They were expecting a family reunion at a desert oasis. The hotel is lovely, historic, and clean. The grounds are beautiful. But there is no pool, which is false advertising. We paid for an amenity which does not exist.

This is a beautiful Inn with small haciendas dispersed around the central Inn, gift shop, and dining room. Our rooms opened onto a private courtyard shared by about 8 of the rooms in our cluster. We had two rooms, and one was occupied by my daughter and her dog. Everyone was dog-friendly and we were able to bring the dog to the outside patio restaurant as well as the inside restaurant. The dog is very well behaved, but we were very appreciative of the hospitality. The outdoor walking areas included a stunning sculpture garden with many beautiful pieces of art on display. The indoor restaurant was also exhibiting the works of several artists. We enjoyed the art inside and outside of the Inn. Everyone, including front desk, restaurant waiters, and hospitality staff were very kind, helpful, and polite. The Inn is associated with the Georgia OKeefe center, where you can buy tickets for tours of Abiquiu. The property is also a short drive from her other property Ghost Ranch. We went to both of her houses and the tour is top-notch. I'll definitely come again.

Excellent room, incredibly comfortable bed, wonderful shower and bathroom amenities, as well as a lovely fireplace....windows need repair, outdoor lighting needs to be added, which is why I chose unsafe....also the Inn signage should be lit at night for late arrivals....perfect location for those guests who are in the area to tour the O'Keeffe house and enjoy the beauty of Abiquiu!!

Great location -- but poorly maintained and WAY too expensive. I paid over $300 a night during the weekend of the annular solar eclipse -- my room (one of the two Pedernal Casitas) was roomy and the bed was comfortable, but it was obvious that this older facility needs some upgrades, e. g., bathroom sink drained very slowly (plumbing issue) and some of the electrical outlets didn't work (and/or were controlled by switches I could not find). For $300+ a night, this should have been a deluxe facility, but given the rundown condition and maintenance needs, it was simply not worth it in my opinion. Also, the laundry room (1 washer, 1 dryer) was absolutely filthy -- to the point I didn't even do a load. The front desk staff mentioned that they were short staffed in terms of their cleaning crew, and it showed. You're paying for the reputation of the Inn and its location in the middle of Georgia O'Keefe country -- definitely a beautiful landscape, and there's really no other lodging for 30+ miles in any direction, unless you want a cabin or RV spot at Ghost Ranch just up the highway.

The supplies were scant, not enough towels, 1 towel each, no waste basket in the sleeping area, 1 box of Tissue in the BR only. Broken towel rack. Bad creamers for coffee. No light when entered switches did not turn on light. Very dark around the property not enough lighting. Instructions to find room were poorly delivered. The numbers on the doors do not make sense and unreadable at night. Food was expensive and taste was poor.

Cob webs on ceiling, glass coffee cups stuck on tray with old coffee spills. Base boards in bath room needed cleaning. Overall the bath room needed a good cleaning. Pipe under bathroom sink was leaking. When I told the young girl at check out she just kind of snickered and made no comment.

The bathrooms were small and without handlebars to get in and out of the cramped bathtub/showers and navigate around the toilets. There were no guardrails on the steps ascending to the outdoor eating areas for those with limited walking abilities. The pilot lights for the gas fueled fireplaces warmed the rooms needlessly with the daytime temperatures in the mid to high seventies. A single small waste basket was to be found in a two bed suite. The gardens were poorly kept. Note, the new management is aware of many of my observations but will need time to correct them.

Beautiful grounds, lovely horses and donkies you can pet. Gorgeous trees on the property. Room was quiet, cozy, clean, the bed was as if your sleeping on a huge gigantic fluffy pillow! The TV had HBO, amazing selections to watch! The Rainbow trout was amazing, I wish they delivered to my room other then that very perfect! And kudos to Jennifer at the front desk she knows her stuff! Thank you everyone for a lovely stay, I found my new secret place to getaway from ABQ!

Lot’s of creaking in the ceiling/roof in the late afternoon. Between that and our unit being very close to the highway, it was pretty noisy. The gas kiva fireplace had a large fluid stain of some sort on the glass. Seemed to take away from the ambiance otherwise present in the room.

We had been a bit worried about this stay because of some negative reviews online. But it turned out that we were pleased with the spacious accommodation and also pleased with the quality of food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Not gourmet food, certainly, but absolutely fine and surely better than average. Our only complaint was that our room had the highest bed we have ever experienced. It took almost a vault to land there. Two little footstools to aid in entrance & exit from such a high bed seem like a little worthy investment for future guests.

Lovely spot. What you get depends on your price point. We stayed in a simple room & it was a little dark, a little tight. But comfy enough and still with access to the lovely grounds and dining, near arts, culture, and nature. Service folks were fantastic.

Several staff members used the phrase, have a blessed day, when ending interaction. It made me uncomfortable. I felt it was inappropriate for a business interaction, especially 1 dealing with people from so many cultural backgrounds. Respect religious boundaries, we don't all have the same beliefs.

The Abiquiu Inn is extremely charming and well placed for visiting Georgia O’Keefe’s home and studio and Ghost Ranch. Service at the desk was really good and I appreciated having dinner boxes provided on Mother’s Day when restaurant was closed. However the box was skimpy and sandwich had hot peppers in it. Food ok at restaurant but lots of order mixups. Waitstaff charming tho. No racks for luggage. Charging a bit much for its various lapses.

Wonderful facility. Most rooms are little casitas with a sitting area, and a porch with table and chairs. The grounds are lovely, with a sculpture garden and adjoining pastures and mountains. Within a few minutes of O’Keeffe home and 10 minutes from Ghost Ranch.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice location for rural scenery. Not many amenities nearby, but that was just fine. Great access to Ghost Ranch and Ojo Caliente, within 15-30 miles. The food at Abiquiu Inn is terrific! Generous portions and very tasty and fresh!

Lovely Inn, very pleasant. Located next to O'Keefe Museum and Bus Tour Pickup. Loved the local artworks and the gift shop. Our casita was very well appointed.

We were in town to go on the Georgia O'Keeffe house/studio tour and to see Ghost Ranch. The Abiquiu Inn was great for this purpose. It is not luxurious, but it is clean, easy access to the attractions that we were there to see, restaurant was good and as a bonus we were there for "community night" and got to see some great live music at the restaurant.
