Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Albuquerque Airport

We only spent one night here but it was clean. Staff friendly and accomodating. Free shuttle to the airport (even at 5am)

Front desk associate was friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants and little shopping. Hot tub and fitness center was closed for renovation the entire stay.

The front staff is nonexistent. One of two elevators are broken, but they don’t have the broken one locked so it always comes when pressed. The curtains don’t close so light comes in while sleeping. Cleaning staff is friendly and available.

Serena - is fantastic! What a genuinely nice person, she assisted with finding a pizza place, check in went perfect, cant say enough good about her! The Airport shuttle worked out perfect for early morning flight, hotel room was perfect, large room, very clean, bed comfortable!

Only wished for an earlier shuttle to airport

Changed rooms twice in one day. The gave industrial washer and dryer that made the floor above them shake like an earthquake for the entire cycle ; they said it would go on all day. The tv in the other room I moved to didnt work. The shuttle driver decided not to come to work after scheduling the shuttle. I could not get a bill cause the printer wasnt working.

We stayed overnight and caught an early flight. The shuttle service was great!

Friendly staff and easy access to airport. A big plus was that the hotel shuttle came to pick us up at the rental car drop off.

Run down outdated hotel with wonderful friendly employees. Wall paper ripped, hole in lampshade, bathroom in need of cosmetic maintenance. Barely enough toilet paper or tissues even for 1 night. Disappointing.

Cleanliness and good breakfast

Huge stains all over the bedsheets and blanket pillows were horrible, barely was able to sleep. Absolutely disgusting bedding.

The front is locked and have to wait for the front desk to let you in. That was pretty much the experience in Albuquerque is safety in stores and other places. The check in was great, no problems at all. We had a good stay. Our room bathroom has some damages that should be fixed around the walls but otherwise things were good. The rest of the room was comfortable. We liked the quiet areas. Just the doors are not soft closing as usual we hear other people leave early. We enjoyed the breakfast, we never tried a bagel sandwich and were surprised with the different options. We were here to see family and shop as well. There are plenty of restaurants nearby on Gibson and Coronado Center area. This is our second time staying here and will most likely consider this place again in the future. Just wish the humidity wasn't an issue here, the room smelled musty and sweaty. The air helped once we turned it on.

It was okay the rooms need some updates

The place is extremely noisy, plus the strong noise produced every time the the rooms doors are closing is incredibly strong. We didn't sleep well .

Great overall. Road noise on Gibson side a little loud, but was handled great by staff.

It was parking lot is shared with a restaurant so it is very noisy and busy.

The place was clean and functional. The staff was great; very friendly. The property was in need of updating and the price was extremely high regardless of what festival was in town. $299.00! At best a $125.00 room.

My family of five stayed here before a flight. Because there were 5 of us, we needed 2 rooms. Rooms were comfortable. Beds pretty good. Woke up several times during the night due to traffic noise outside and crying children next room over. Breakfast was good, average. Got us going for the day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice stay. Room is clean and spacious. Everything is good, though room WiFi signal was not very strong, WiFi at lobby was good.

Nice staff, clean hotel. Only complaint is walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbors talking on the phone and outside traffic is loud. Not a quiet night

Well received at check-in - appreciated the safety of asking how many cards I wanted (as a solo traveler). Breakfast well stocked and organized. Shuttle driver - excellent with forehand info on where I could get dinner safely nearby.

The ladies at the front desk were phenomenal. I wasn’t feeling well and They let me have a late check out and we’re so accommodating and so very kind. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were. Thank you all I truly appreciate everyone that worked at that hotel.

This hotel was ok. It was clean, bed was ok. Room was basic but ok. Pool was nice. It was easy to find & food options around. The only real issue I had was with housekeeping in the morning. Check out time is 1200 but they started banging on the door and trying to come into the room at 9am. Thankfully I had put the door lock. They came again at 10 and then again at 11. I have never felt rushed to get out of a room but we did here. The front desk staff was really nice but the hosekeeping ruined it. I won't stay here again.

I stay at this hotel frequently when I travel because it is near the airport, can do park & fly, and prices are generally reasonable. Usually my stays are great. This time it was not. Arriving back from an international flight I pre-booked a room & was looking forward to desperately needed sleep. When I checked in I was asked what floor I wanted to stay on. My response was please give me the quietest room you have. Was given a key & went to bed by 6pm. At midnight the phone rang. It was the front desk stating that I was not supposed to be in that room. I was repeatedly asked my name. They told me the room was for someone else. I told them that I didn’t know what they expected me to do. I told the person several times that I just wanted to sleep. Finally I hung up. At no time did the staff apologize for waking me. The next morning a person at the front desk who told me they were the assistant manager told me there was a mix up. I responded that indeed there was & that I did not appreciate being called at midnight. I expressed that what bothered me the most in addition to interrupting my sleep was that no one apologized. The assistant manager seemed very annoyed that I was expressing my displeasure. This person stated they would talk to the staff involved. But the assistant manager also did not apologize. This was very poor customer service. It was unreasonable to call at that hour…they simply needed to give the late arriving guest another room.

Second stay at this hotel the quality and consistency of service is refreshing

Around a lot of dining options and university. Liked they had security patrolling parking lot. Nice staff and room.

We purchased this room after arriving in Albuquerque and being sorely disappointed in our 1st choice room. We were relieved and felt safe here. This hotel had rooms available during the Balloon Fiesta, and had several dining options within walking distance.

Easy check in, clean room. Shower was good. Location was easy to get into. Close to Applebee’s and several other places to eat.

Close to freeway easy in and out

The hotel is fine. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, being a single woman and traveling alone I'm not comfortable with where its located. If the parking lot were enclosed it might be better, but coming in late at night, with a full lot, its a bit scary walking to the front door; busy corner, late night dining at adjacent restaurant just doesn't work. Safety for guests should always be a priority.

Breakfast is awful

Clean hotel, good location, good breakfast and friendly staff! Isabel (the breakfast lady) was so helpful and kind. I absolutely appreciate all she did for me. She’s definitely helped by saving the day and helping to ease my mind.

The place was clean, the breakfast was hot and delicious. It is close to the airport only five minutes away. Places to dine are right next-door. I will stay again.

The toilet was UNSTABLE. The front desk was often without a person. The breakfast was usually out of the hot food, during the designated time for the meal. When it was replenished, it was gone before the server left the room. The hallways were too narrow to get a luggage cart through when the maid was servicing a room.
