Quality Inn & Suites Albuquerque West

There were no swimming pool or a hot tub due to cleaning and will be open on monday we are on vacaction and deserve a pool and resting hot tub but nothing 🙄

No working elevator

The first thing we saw when we parked was a sign warning to not be a victim, lock your vehicle, remove your items. The elevator was dirty, as though it had not seen a vacuum in months, if not years. The transition between the tile in the bathroom and carpet in the bedroom was not finished, so when I stepped on it, I felt a sharp fiber from the carpet poke the bottom of my foot. The a/c unit caused the room to smell musty all night...meaning there is mold in the unit. The television has no guide and the up and down channel buttons didn't work, so I had to manually enter numbers (the 7, 8, & 9 didn't work) in hopes of finding something I would like to watch. The hotel guide in the nightstand had an outdated channel guide in it. We each (2 in my party) had to go to the front desk to have our key cards reprogrammed twice. The pool/gym areas are very segmented The gym is very basic, small and felt like I was in a basement. When I walked past the pool area twice when getting my key card reprogrammed a man wouldn't stop staring at me...uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay and the only woman I saw working there appeared to be working very hard to ensure everyone was safe (drying water on the floor) and fed (made sure the food was stocked). I think she was the only one that actually put an effort into making people comfortable. The bed was comfortable, which is a priority for me in hotels, but not among the best I've slept in. In short, this hotel could be so much better

It felt like an unsafe neighborhood but there was security in and around the hotel.

Overall we were happy with our stay. Only real complaint we have is there was too much chlorine in the hot tub. Twenty seconds in the hot tub felt like a chemical bath so we didn't get to enjoy that amenity. Otherwise, Quality Inn made a great base camp while we were in town for Balloon Fiesta.

I could feel dirt at the bottom of the hot tub. Parking lot and sidewalks were filthy with spills, cigarette butts and a dirty mop bucket with black water.

We had some issues with the elevator working. The door into our room had a faulty knob and lock. The walk ways needed cleaning as did the inside of the elevator. The bed was comfy and the breakfast good.

The property is very rundown and dirty. The rooms have outside facing doorways, not interior always. The elevator was filthy. I just wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great place for a quick overnight stay. Helpful and polite staff. Hot tub is out of order but pool is open.

First room they gave us was dirty , toilet clogged. Switched us for another room sink didnt work. And it was dirty.

TV was smaller than the pictures. Entered room and everything was unplugged, tv, fridge, lamps. the room smelled horribly which was from the fridge not being emptied. I had a package of mushrooms and a pizza that had been left in the unplugged fridge. was moved to another room and was woke up by a cockroach climbing on me and then noticed a tuft of hair that was still on my bed from god knows how long.

Stains on sheets, bath tub didn’t drain, dirty sink, first room the tv didn’t work, moved us to another room. It was so bad too! Never going back!

I was very disappointed with the condition of the property. It was not clean at all, and the shower was in particularly poor condition, with visible dirt and grime. The trays provided for breakfast were also very dirty, which was unacceptable. This made the stay uncomfortable and far below expectations. Basic cleanliness should be a priority, and unfortunately, it was not met here.

Dried blood was splattered on the curtains Fan was so loud and squeaky so I slept very poorly When I brought this up to the front desk they made no accommodations to my stay

The room needs a deep cleaning, although the bed seemed to be clean the carpet was dirty, the tub being white was patched with a dark color material, and made a lot of noise, the AC was the loudest, was like sleeping next to a lawn mower,I brought that up to the attendant while checking out but I don’t think he actually cared

Very very dirty

The absolute dirtiest, smelliest, ugliest hotel I’ve ever paid for that didn’t involve a paying a woman. The carpet was incredibly dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed in what looked like forever. There was urine run stains down the front of the toilet. The room smelled of stale athletes foot mixed with rotting snot. My wife actually wanted me to fire up a cigar to mask the stink. I seriously wore my slippers to bed because there was no way my feet or socks was going to touch that floor. The small refrigerator actually stunk as well. One of my pillows had no pillow case. The toilet paper was almost out. The tub was so old and used that it changed color. There was 2 water temps … cold and scalding … nothing in between. The heater blew stinky air. There was trash behind the beds, but I know why … there was no trash can. The stench coming from the sink drain made my wife gag when washing her face or brushing her teeth. I swear if you could snake that thing, you’d come up with human flesh because I’m confident that kind of thing happened in that room. Don’t EVEN ask me about the “free breakfast”.

Loud noise in the room, took us awhile to figure out it was the fridge, so had to turn it off so we could sleep. Hair dryer in room didnt work.

Room was not in very good condition and the air conditioner was didn’t work well and was noisy. There was no hair dryer in the room but I got one from the front desk after about 20 minutes. The breakfast was excellent.

Check-in was quick, but not especially welcoming or friendly. We were in Room 102. The sink was very slow to drain, and the TV remote didn't work. The front desk knew the remote didn't work, but only offered to come turn the TV on for us, not fix the problem.

Okay room. Lots of road noise.

The property is under poor management. For example, the table lamp connection is bad, the light flickering. Called the front desk to report, request repair. I booked for two-day stay, but the lamp did not get fixed till the time I check out

Light over sink not working leaving the vanity area dark, use of hair dryer caused a tripped socket, wall sockets were so loose would not hold a plug in, ceiling smoke detector missing, one wash cloth for 2 people, elevator area very dirty, refrigerator in common area was not cool enough for yogurt so it was lukewarm. We left a day early and told we could not get a refund. Very disappointing stay.

The room was hard to get into due to the carpet and the bottom of the door.

The property looks good on the outside but the rooms are tired and need a refreshing. Bathroom tub creaked while taking a shower. Tub had dark grey epoxy patch in corner and around drain. Breakfast was good.

Booked a non-smoking room and it smelled so bad of smoke. The bed was worn down and felt like sleeping in a hard canoe where we kept rolling into the center on top of each other.

Great one night stay. Bed was extremely comfortable. Check in was fast and the front desk agent was very kind.

Very nice and friendly staff at this hotel. A lot of family involvement in the morning and they seemed to be very attentive. Breakfast was good and everything was well stocked. Just approaching the desk dropping off key cards I was intercepted with a "here I'll take care of it for you". Very refreshing.

Friendly staff

Just checked in at 8:20pm and walked up to room 212, and bed was not made, lights were all on, had an Oder. Got another key for another room 310 was locked. Then went to front and was offered a “nicer” room bed was not made, trash everywhere. Went to another room same thing, then was given a room back by the first room with no working lights.

Front desk/gentleman was amazing. Excellent customer service. We were in the process of a move and he allows me to park my moving truck in the front, assured me he’d keep an eye on it with security. Completely unexpected but generous and very kind of him. If you’ve driven through that area you’d understand. 5 stars for customer service and kindness.

Outside from the property has lots of homeless people (do not blame them but where safety concerns are) And front desk worker was rude and gave me key cards wasn’t working and he grumpy so gave me other key cards. It wasn’t working again so go back front desk and he was upset and decided to check the room- guess what? Someone are inside!!! We had decided not to go back this hotel again.

This hotel was clean, staff was great, and the location worked well for us. Their amenities were very nice, and their breakfast was also delicious! A nice pkace to stay!

Very disappointing! I booked online and when I arrived I was told that they were going to have to charge me extra for an upgrade. I had to show my reservation to prove that I reserved A certain room because they had me down for something else. Then I was told that they didn't have the room that I had reserved. When the issue was finally resolved I was given my keys and headed to My room but had to go back to the front desk twice because my key didn't work. The guy at the front desk came with me to the room and he couldn't get it to work either so he gave me a different room. When we got to that room it was completely different from what I had reserved. When I pointed this out to him, he got rude and said I don't know what you want. I responded with I want the room that I reserved and paid for. He said well I don't have any of those rooms left and besides I am giving you an extra bed for free. I was by myself so how exactly did I benefit from getting an extra bed? All in all the service was terrible, I didn't get what I paid for and I will never return.

We had to wait for someone to show up to check in. He was not friendly. There was a security guard walking around so it didn’t give a safe feeling.

The front desk was very confused, giving out rooms that had people checked in, or rooms that were not cleaned yet. He was managing a long queue by himself, after some confusion and patience, things were sorted out. The room was clean, breakfast is nice however has limited seating available.

Located off the highway, so easy to get to. Close to a few options for restaurants. The area is a little run down but hotel room was clean and it was quiet. Good value for the price if just need a bed for sleeping.

High crime area . Security with bulletproof vest on walking all over. Police have camra towers all over out side on streets. Bunch of hotels in area .

Close to I-40. Several restaurants nearby. Well lite parking lot

Security in the parking area was very good,but necessary Shower dripping water and could be refreshed with shower bars and raised toilet A LOT of homeless people in the area

Front desk clerk was really nice while checking in. Room was great. Only downfall is homeless people just wondering around the area. However I did see security around.

The area around the hotel was kind of sketchey

There was a large homeless population surrounding the hotel. We did not feel safe walking the “4 minute walk to Buffalo Wild Wings” (as advertised).

It is an old $70 hotel and it looks like that. It is clean but the area does not look very safe. It is located in a group of other hotels and it is right off the interstate. Not bad for a short night stay.

The area was not the greatest. Homeless in abundance. Security with jacket at parking lot entrance at night. Area west of I-40 much nicer!

Air conditioner was the extremely loud and did not work well. Buffet was not stocked and multiple things completely out and waiting. No milk, no eggs, no biscuits. Had to wait every time.

It was ok. We were just passing through and needed a safe one night stay for the family. Room was fine, bathroom area was very small, and breakfast was very limited. For the price we were hoping for a bit more.

I’m not one to leave reviews. Don’t stay here. We got there to check in and waited about 25 minutes at the lobby for the staff to come check us in. After checking in our tv wasn’t working we called down, and the he same staff member that checked us in came to look and all he did was turn the tv off and left. The mini fridge had a horrible smell. And lastly the milk at breakfast was spoiled.

Breakfast was poor. Would not recommend this property at all.

Bring your earplugs, the floorboards above us were very loud. Could hear the neighbors every move. The breakfast was picked over by a group of children with no parents in sight. We went twice in one morning and both times there was barely any food left and the coffee was cold. If you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. The sheets and room were nice and clean. I was under the impression based on Expedia that my pet fee would be $15. It was $25. That was annoying but at least it was still cheaper than other places.

Room had coffee machine. Had a fridge with no freezer. It was unplugged and took forever to get cold, so could not re freeze my freezer packs, items were not very cold in the morning for a day of travel in the car. Breakfast was good-eggs, sausage, gravy, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffles.,

Most comfortable bed and room was quiet; staff was friendly and courteous, not too far for dining, and the breakfast was the best!
