The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and, after a long day of travel, I slept very well. The shower had excellent water pressure. Unfortunately, all the vending machines were out of order and during breakfast, the coffee, juice, and waffle batter machines had completely run out, including the extra coffee machine they have available all day. As busy as the weekends get and for the price, I was surprised the location didn't have someone there to make sure things were stocked up a little better so everyone can enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning. Barring that, however, I would consider staying here again due to the location, cleanliness, and aesthetic of the hotel.

Elevator was broke. It would have been nice to know that before booking. Tough for someone with 19 heart procedures to climb stairs. Also, homeless people around the hotel without security guard for several hours. Only one person on duty and couldn’t leave the building to ask homeless people to move on.

Lots of comfort amenities. Fireplace in Lobby where guests were playing cards at a table, pool and hottub had great hours 8 am- 11 pm. Free breakfast was outatanding. Loved the filtered water bottle filler and hot beverage machine right off the elevators. Rooms were clean and comfy. Parking lot well lit. Close to Meow Wolf. Not bad at all!!!

We foud a cockroach in our room, my wife killed it. The room next door had several dogs who barked all night. Our room was next to the exit so from 6am-10am non stop door slamming. The shower didnt drain. Room chairs were very wore down. The hot tub was pretty much a small hot pool kids were jumping in and out of. No jets to turn on in the hot tub area. Standing slimy hot water. Not pleased at all.

Excellent property. The beds were some of the most comfortable beds. The breakfast was redundant, but there were enough options to choose from to start your day, and stave off hunger until lunch. The gym was small, but it had free weights, and was effective for a good workout. The pool was always crowded, and it looked as if everyone was having a good time. Would definitely recommend this property for a stay in Santa Fe. We really enjoyed it.

The property was not in the best shape. The elevators were inoperable, the cleaning staff were noisy, the walls were paper-thin (you could hear all the adjacent rooms) and the entrance to the property requires pulling a U-turn off the main roadway to get there. We didn't eat there or use the pool -- which you could smell throughout the building. We won't be using this property again.

We did the last-minute getaway and for the cost. It was a pretty nice hotel. Everything was clean, everyone slept well, the kids greatly enjoyed the pool and the breakfast.

We visited this hotel at the end of July and chose it because of all the positive reviews. We still cannot figure out how this hotel has so many 5 star reviews. Pros: * Great breakfast with a variety of food served daily. Breakfast is served until 10. * Staff was friendly enough. * Filtered water station along with a coffee station. Cons: * The hotel is not in a safe location. Homeless shelter is very close and many homeless people roaming the streets and parking lot. * while our room was a great size (purchased upgraded room) nothing in the room was an upgrade. The carpet was filthy. Wood shutter blinds were cracked and didn’t close completely. The tub had a six inch black crack on the side. The bed skirts were old and made of some sort imitation leather and stained. The comforters and bedspread spreads were dirty and had some stains. Mattress were ok box springs stained. * We had some sort of “tree beetles” (according to the front desk staff) in our room. Killed a few in our 3 night stay. * The wallpaper was dirty especially where the trash can was. * Not only was the air conditioning very loud, it somehow added humidity to our room. Which is probably why there was a musty odor in the room. Since the air conditioner was a wall unit, cool air never made it into the bathroom. * We could hear every guest next to and above us. Thankful we brought earplugs We travel to Santa Fe a few times a year for business. This was the first and last stay at the Best Western Plus.

It was ok for a one night it's also an affordable place around Santa Fe that is family friendly. However, I think the rooms look run down and I have a toddler and he was exploring the room and found a used silicone ear plug so that was gross. It was in a small corner in the room so definitely a place that is probably not cleaned as often but I'd like to think all rooms are well cleaned after every use. I think this def showed us that was not the case. Not sure if we'll be staying here again.

This was a very clean and updated hotel. Like that they had lots of plug ins for electronics. Beds and pillows were great. Easy check in and even easier check out. For the price this was a very nice hotel.

Hotel was beautiful! The two queen beds in our room were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. cons.. the pull out couch was like sleeping on springs, I felt awful for my son but he was a trooper. also from around 5 am-8 am someone or something was rolling around the floor above our room and it was so loud. I don't know if it was kids playing on a rolling chair or a luggage carrier but my gosh.. had an amazing sleep until then! not the hotels fault, its a rude people problem!

Stayed in santa fe over night had never been there before walked the plaza until we were worn out hotel was quick easy check in and the room was perfect good view from the little balcony of our suite and the bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get up the next morning would definitely stay here on my next trip

After 10 minutes of us being in our room, the door was unlocked and opened by one of the maintenance staff to retrieve a fan from the room. The next morning at checkout I notified the front desk and the GENERAL MANAGER who were on shift at approx. 8 AM on Friday, Sept 13. Their only response was that the maintenance personnel should have knocked and they only provided a light apology. I let them know how unsafe and dangerous that event was and they showed little to no concern. DO NOT STAY at this property if you value your privacy or safety. As a woman I felt extremely unsafe and was grateful my husband was in the room at the time. If you are a single female or traveling with children, STAY AWAY!

This hotel has been hands down the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. I booked through a third party website and there were some snags when I arrived, I think the woman’s name that helped me was Vanessa working the night shift, she was so helpful and friendly it’s so hard to find people like that at hotels especially in the evenings she’s an amazing person! I will definitely be staying here again the hotel is clean and nice the breakfast is also very good 10/10 amazing experience!

Stayed for 8 nights. Nice and clean, comfy beds, good breakfast in a tidy breakfast room, always food on trays, fresh and nice. Room made up nicely every day. Pleasant staff. Perfect hotell for our trip, easy access, close to «down town» Santa Fe. Close to Meow Wolf which was a great experience.

Chose this hotel due to an “excellent “ rating. Don’t know how they achieved that. Upon arrival we were greeted with no enthusiasm or friendliness at all. When we got to the room the TV did not work. When asked front desk about it he seemed annoyed and came to look at it. Took 30 minutes or so but he fixed it. However the entire time we tried to make conversation with him and were ignored. Definitely will NOT be staying here again

Our room was not cleaned on a day we were gone most of the day and the desk clerk told us we could dump our own trash in the dumpster out back. Desk clerks were not friendly.

This hotel is quite nice despite being in a bit of a rough neighborhood. We've stayed at Best Western's before and like the king size beds, they're nice. This hotel is nicely decorated with very nice front desk attendants. The room is pretty nice, we rented a king bed and the room came with a fridge, 2 screen TV's and had a balcony. We would stay there again.

The neighborhood was not safe due to homeless in the area. They were very bold. While in the drive up lane at McDonald's watched a homeless woman attempt to get in the car behind us. Santa Fe very sad used to be very clean and safe. No longer.!. Sad for the hotel should have security in the parking lot and on the premises especially at night.

I would definitely stay here again. I love the little coffee machine that you could get a cappuccino or a latte in. They also had a water machine for free water. The staff was very accommodating and allowing me to change out my room. The breakfast is homemade if you will. And overall comfortable for the price. Definitely staying on my return list.

What I didn't like was the cartons of milk were frozen, so I ate my cereal dry. I would have eaten yogurt except the dining room ran out of it. I wish there was a way to improve the scrambled eggs!

We reserved a pet-friendly room. However, the room was in poor condition, with old furniture and a dirty tub. Traveling with a pet doesn't always guarantee the best room. The toilet was an issue- it kept running after flushing. I had to pull the lid off and lift the stopper to get it to work. Free breakfast is included, but at this Best Western, the eggs and bacon weren't very good.
