All around my favorite place to stay in Santa Fe. The Hacienda has exactly what I want and is well appointed. From the daily breakfast to the happy hours, they do a great job of making you comfortable. The staff is uber friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hacienda. The room was spacious and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the expanded continental breakfast and eating outside. The happy hour was a lovely bonus. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Plaza. The concierge Kevin was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The only disappointment was the hot tub was roped off though the staff did not know it was closed.

Staff is the highlight of the hotel. They were attentive, accommodating and overall wonderful. Kudos to the management. We loved the location. The shuttle was convenient with nice drivers and a fun way to meet other travelers.

Nice overall, lobby is lively and cozy. But our room was dark (ground floor) - next time we will ask for a higher floor room. Also breakfast was served in a windowless meeting room. I think this was temporary but we weren't given a heads up or an option to have breakfast in a nicer environment. Altogether the special "Hacienda" feel was completely lacking. We would have probably been better off staying in the main hotel

I chose this property because it was rated 4-Stars and EXCELLENT. I knew as soon as I arrived it was not going to meet my expectation as a 4-Star property. No valet. Carpet in the entry to the lobby was shabby, worn and dirty. Lobby was dark with outdated decor. Check-in was easy. Staff was incredibly friendly. We were told our room was in another building and where we could self-park. Room was spacious and of traditional Santa Fe/Native American decor. But it was TIRED. All the outlets were loose. There were dents in the walls, stains on the upholstery and scratches in the mismatched furniture. The TV was at least 15 years old with no connectivity options. During our stay, the AC was not working. The room was stuffy and never got below 74'. Sheets were stiff and smelled of bleach. Hand-held shower was broken and hanging by one screw in the shower. The gym was small and had no TVs or connectivity. As a lifetime Platinum member with Marriott, I would compare this with a very tired, outdated Sheraton. The one highlight? The staff was LOVELY and so helpful. I wasn't aware that the property is the only one in Santa Fe that is owned and operated by Native American families. Their pride in their work is evident. The hotel is traditional and has the potential to be a unique gem in the market, but they need to heavily invest in refreshing this hotel to make that happen.
