We weren't able to check in until almost 8pm so we had to stay in the lobby until then. They comped some drinks for us while we wait but we'd driven all day and had to wait almost 5 hours after normal check in time. And, all the ice makers in 4 buildings were not functioning so we had to walk to the office to get ice (5 buildings away).

I would say you get what you pay for. Fairly basic room but the space is really good and it is clean. The indoor pool is huge and was awesome. The restaurant is never open so don’t plan on it for anything except breakfast.

The swimming pool was dirty with odd smelling. The pool towels smelled odd in bad quality. The employees were nice to try to improve, but it was not their fault it was management issue.

This was advertised as a hotel. After checking in, they direct you to other buildings where you will stay and all the units have external doors like a motel. We got into the room and there was trash, half drank soda bottles, long black hairs in the bed - and the provided lotion, shampoo, and conditioners were all empty.

The restroom was not properly cleaned when I checked in. Found hair in the bathroom floor and tub. I stayed there 3 nights and I wanted clean towels and toilet paper. But, when I called around 4:00pm , they said that I had to wait until the next day because the housekeeper was already off work and they didn’t come in until 9:00am. I would think they had a storage room with these items. The lobby receptionist gave me an impression that she didn’t want to help or be bothered. The restaurant food was not good. I ordered chicken fingers for my daughter and they were not fully cooked. But Taos has a lot of good restaurants not to far from the hotel. So we knew to eat out and not at the hotel.

We arrived an hour after check-in time on a Friday evening and our room wasn’t ready yet. We were asked to wait another hour for it to be cleaned, taking us to 6:00 pm. I asked for a free drink at the bar as compensation while we waited, and after checking with a mgr., our front desk person agreed. The lobby bar served us tasty margaritas. We noticed the room wasn’t too clean during our stay. I found a partial candy wrapper on the floor, and a used towel in a far corner of the bathroom’s ample under-sink shelf area. That said, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy with lots of counter and storage space. The bathroom appeared to have been renovated more recently than did the room, which had dark brown pattern carpet that looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed for a while. There were generous room amenities, including a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, which we appreciated. The room itself was large with plenty of room between two queen size beds. There was also a small table with two comfortable chairs and a big TV. If only it were clean, it would have been a nice room. There was also a separate glass-enclosed building that contained an attractive indoor pool, which we didn’t try, but had quite a few children playing in upon our arrival. The next morning, there wasn’t a soul in sight.

The outside area was supreme and the staff very nice. My complaint though is the room had dirty floors and carpet. I even took pictures. The furniture and design are wonderful.

Check in was at 4pm. I got there at 445. The receptionist said the room wasn't ready and to check back in 30 to 45 min. As I sat and waited 4 more people came to check in and were told the same thing. I was checked in at about 530 with no apology or offer of discount, nothing. When I got in my room, there was a dead bug in the middle of the bathroom. My room was never cleaned in my two days.

This hotel is worn and appears not to have been refurbished for some time. Both rooms we were assigned were not properly cleaned--dirty towels left in the bathroom and a smear on the bedspread in one, a pile of sweepings behind the bathroom door in another. To make matters worse, the hotel charges premium prices in line with luxury properties. This is NOT a luxury property. If you're expecting a Super 8 or Motel 6, you'll be satisfied. Otherwise, you'll be disappointed.

For a Hilton Tapestry property, it was not that nice. The main lobby was nice but there was nothing that nice (or special) about the room. It was older and plain, and in need of updates.

Room had no Wi-Fi. Were told our room was to far away from server. Told maintenance would come to room to fix, they never came. Asked for a new room with Wi-Fi. Was told I couldn’t. Then snuggly told if I wanted Wi-Fi I was free to spend the evening sitting in the lobby. Had to contact Expedia to get new room. Front desk was not happy and treated me coldly. Do Not Go Here!!

Room was clean and very large. Condition was good. $15.00 voucher for breakfast was not adequate considering 6 other hotel chains we stayed at all had a full hot breakfast included!!!! Our room was at far end of the property, so we drove to the main building for breakfast. Check-in and check-out were done quickly.

Property was close to the Plaza so the location was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. The room that was originally assigned to us had a problem with the lock and we needed to be reassigned to a different room. Rather than make us trek back to the front desk to get a different key, housekeeping opened the new room for us and the front desk brought a new set of keys to the room. So nice and responsive.

Every day I had to get replacement cards to get in my room-sometimes more than once. Had to go to the bar to get ice. One person at desk advised me to hunker down for the night after suggesting I was causing the problem by having my phone and card in my purse together. However my last night there the person at the desk was very nice and helpful. Waffle at breakfast could not be cut with a knife-had to tear it apart. Only ate there once.

Went to property at 10:30 a.m. and asked if we could have early check in. Was told my room type (suite) was not available for early checkin, no problem We did the enchanted circle and were able to explore the area. We showed up at 4:30, 1/2 hour pass check in time, they gave us a room we went to the room open the door and there were people sitting on the couch and they tell us they checked in at 10:30 that a.m.! But there wasn’t a room ready for us at sonar time ok I get that. As we walk down the stairs with our bags there’s a guy sitting in the courtyard smoking pot, o know it’s legal in NM but pls have some manners. Went back to front desk told them some o r was in our room They gave us another room we went to that room and again some one was in the room. Went back to front desk and they told me they did not have any suites ready for check in I said just give me a room with double beds and we will be good. Thankfully the third time was a charm no one was in the room we were assigned although it was not a suite I had reserved 3 weeks prior. Ok no big deal. Went to room for ready for dinner and when we were leaving our room someone else was sitting in courtyard smoking dope. Again I realize it’s legal there but do you really need to sit where families are coming and going from their room smoking dope, can they not go to the surrounding woods where I used to have to go to smoke dope. We checked out way early with no problem bc of our experience.

Everything was expected except for the bartender. She was the absolute worst. There were 4 people at the bar and she was as slow as Christmas! So we went to the bar to get a drink after waiting for 15 minutes. She told us to go sit down and she “I’ll get to you.” Rude personality and the worst service I’ve ever received at a Hilton!

Hotel is nice and clean. Lobby was nice with bar and restaurant but we didn't use it. The only complaint is the bed was so soft, too soft. Woke up with sore neck. parking was all over the place but left slightly worried, so parked in another area that had more vehicles and lighting and view from the street.

The hotel is conveniently located yet is not downtown. Transportation is required for visiting most locations. The restaurant was convenient for breakfast. They have a large indoor pool too. Our check in was a hassle even though we made reservations four months ago and we arrived at 4 p.m. (check in time). Our beds needed mattress replacement. I probably won’t stay there again

Comfortable, very clean and quiet. Location was convenient, but not easy to walk to central Taos. Also, since our room was on the back side, there were no outdoor sitting areas nearby. Breakfast was not included. Awfully expensive for a generic room.

Hotel is nice and quiet. My only gripe is the option to pay for breakfast in advance. That does not work; you get a $15 voucher per person per day, which seems fine at first, but then in reality it's impossible to eat onsite at that price, so we ended up paying $6-7 extra per person per day (incl. tip), and one day the restaurant was closed - no staff. Food was barely ok/warm on day 1, and then it was outstanding on day 2 (pistachio pancakes were great, I was told). So it's a mixed bag.

I should have trusted the reviews. Surprised this is a Hilton. Rooms are very worn. I killed probably 5 bugs every day in the room. The room also had a very strange unpleasant smell. Only one person working the front desk every time we went in. Waited 30 minutes to check in after a 10 hour drive with 3 kids. Ice machine didn’t work and sign that said to go to the bar but no one there.

Great hotel. I had a LONG Drive, road constructions and closures had me in a spot of bother finding the hotel... but ONCE I WALKED IN, I FELT BETTER. So close to downtown Santa Fe. Restaurant is good.

We paid extra for breakfast and found out that morning that they were now serving a breakfast buffet… which they were charging $16 for!! Shocking because Ive had better breakfast for FREE at most hotels. It was BAD. I tried to eat it and has to pass. So my family and I had a muffin for $45.

The reception building suggests an historic upscale property but unfortunately the rooms which are spread across six buildings are pretty mediocre. The breakfast restaurant (ala carte) was just ok.
