I hate leaving bad reviews. Usually I just skip leaving one, but I don’t want anyone choosing this spot unaware of what they are getting. Moldy bathroom ceiling. Dirty floors and baseboards in bathroom. Musty smell in the hall, worse in the room. Greasy stains on the sheets. Laundry room out of order. Chunky expired milk for breakfast, with limited food choices. Zero stars. Do not recommend! It needs a lot of work. I hope they can fix some of these issues!

This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time. Carpet was worn through, was filthy, back door was broken so anyone could come and go at will. Breakfast was…. I guess they consider this breakfast! Definitely needs some upgrades! Won’t be staying here again!

I stayed one night, left a few nights and then came back. The second time, my room was always musty smelling. There was also a lot of questionable people around. The ability to use a washer and dryer is great, but the dryer needs to be replaced and the machine needs to be cleaned as it left a blue streak on clothing.

The property was extremely old and outdated, with horrible smelly carpets through-out the entire building. The ceiling smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling. The comforter had stains, and the bathroom faucets were dirty and had rust stains on them. The toilet backed up on us in the middle of the night, my husband used the plunger that was in the bathroom to get the water to go back down and the towels to mop up the water on the floor. When I told the front desk lady at check-out she accused us of flushing something inappropriate down the toilet. She never apologized or took accountability for the inconvenience that we experienced. From the time we entered the door, we smelled the water damaged carpets and there was an air fresher plugged into the wall on the 2nd floor going to our room and that didn't help the smell at all, as the carpet in the room was stained and smelly as well. The property should be removed from the list of hotels on Expedia and Wyndham should be ashamed to be associated with this property. This was a horrible experience and I only stayed because everything else near Syracuse University was booked.

We chose this hotel because it seemed to have decent ratings, the location, price and it included breakfast. I'm a fan of Wyndham hotels. Check in was fine, we got in late around 11pm. Went up to the room. Went to take a shower and the tub was very dirty. Dirt and stains all over the bottom. Went to blow dry my hair and there were long black hair sticking out of it. We were frustrated but went to bed, it was late and we just got in from a long trip. The next morning we could barely stand up from the bed being incredibly stiff. We noted stains on our pillow cases and what looked to be a large pee stain on the top comforter. I went to sit on the couch to put my shoes on and there were white bodily fluid stains on it. We left right away, went downstairs to grab breakfast and all they had was cereal, toast and coffee. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

The couch was so stained we had to cover with blankets. Paint coming off ceiling in bathroom. Stains in sink unsure what is was but gross. Wet residue stains on walls very gross. The property advertisement does not show current status.

The room was dirty. There was a leak running across the ceiling. Couldn’t find the trash can then found it placed under the bathroom sink full of water because it leaked. Every time you ran water it drained onto the floor. Toilet seat was broken. Wallpaper was peeling and the area around the toilet looked like a years worth of urine. Complained twice at the desk - no resolution. Ended up buying air mattresses and staying with family. Do NOT book this hotel. In addition the security door to outside did not shut. The locking mechanism had been torn apart so it wouldn’t lock and also didn’t shut. Contacted company for refund who directed me to property management who sent a nice email thanking me for bringing these things to their attention! Absolutely unacceptable!

Our room had dirty linen, bathroom ceiling flaking off, bugs and hair(not mine) on bathroom floor, mirror in room and bathroom desilvered, no stopper/plug in sink faucet fixture and it was rusty. We would have left, but it was April 7th before the Eclipse and there were no rooms available in the area. The hotel staff said the hotel was overbooked and they were turning people away. Just YUCK!!!

The first room the sink was plugged and the toilet didn't work. I was moved to another room which was okay. The rooms are very basic and without a fridge to keep things cold. The beds are only a regular double much below what I expected of any Wyndham chain.

Very friendly desk person, small rooms (hence the name) but more than adequate and clean. Minimal breakfast but coffee 24/7. Only issue was that shower had no hot water but manager quickly moved us to another room. Also go to Average Joe's up the street, dive bar but really good pizza and wings.

Did not like the breakfast and the fact that there are no refrigerators, microwaves, or coffee pots in the rooms. I know that this is an inn and not a hotel but at this price there should be something more to help with the meals.

Good location, for closeness to the highway, food and supermarket. Hotel is unfortunately out of date. In-room telephone didn’t work, sink was clogged and shower was also not functioning. Changed rooms only for the heater to randomly make loud noises thus had to sleep with it off mid March. WIFI was very poor and not secure. The walls are also quite thin. Overall this hotel was a decent choice in 2005, but needs a big overhaul.

The manager was very rude, the TV didn't work they never came to help. Every time we left the room the key didn't work we had to have it reprogrammed. There was an extra charge to have the dog when it said it was pet friendly.

The manager made an error and did not put our reservation into the system. We were awakened by the night staff trying to enter our room after midnight waking us up. When we told them to leave they proceeded to call us 3 times to tell us that they were going to call the police because we were in a room that was supposed to be vacant. No apologies the next day when they realized they made the mistake. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Staff was amazing! The only downside was no usb ports in room, but thankfully Alex at the front desk had one i could use. Alex went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay there again.

The checkin process was ridiculous, I walked in clerk greeted me, then answered a phone call while I stood there for 20 minutes waiting for him to get off. Hotel was paid through the hotels.com app the clerk once he got off Insisted I put an extra hold on my card for incidentals, now keep in mind checked in around 10pm. I asked how much was going to be placed in the hold , at first he told me 250 dollars I said that’s about what I payed for the room , then after going back and forth he said 15% of the total cost. He couldn’t give me a number , What business tells you they are running your debit/cc without an actual number. Anyway after all that I go to my room the hallway to get there just have been about 90 degrees. Thabkfullly the room was a little cooler than that, room was semi clean , however when I went to bed it was so old and loud and rickety, I thought I might break it. Every time I moved it made noise, needless to stay I didn’t sleep very much. This had to be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at, would love a refund and the time I spent there back but neither is likely.

Stayed just one night. Very unwelcoming. Attendant didn’t smile, nor greet. All I got was “ID” and “CREDIT CARD”. No receipt either?!?!?? Room had half glass water left on table. Trash in bathroom garbage, bottle cap left on floor. Outdated wallpaper patched, no coffee pot, no lamps, charger ports, etc. Bathroom ceiling had sagging and water spots. This is a Wyndham property, so was hopeful, but it does not live up to the Wyndham standards. For 108.00, not worth it. Rooms should be half that price especially with no in room perks. Rated D. Will not stay here again.

Close to the highway. Beds were comfortable. It was quiet and clean. The decor was a bit dated but this did not interfere with our stay. Staff was friendly and available. I would stay again without hesitation.

Stayed here to attend my uncle’s funeral. Extremely convenient to all the services held in Baldwinsville. Staff was very pleasant. Room is very small so would not have been good for an extended stay, however.

Not a lot of people in the hotel but they lined us up in a row of rooms so it was very noisy. Couldn't find movies or shows on tv, kept saying unavailable. Sheets in our room had hair all over them and were rough d/t being old sheets and worn. We usually like microtel but not this one.

The dirty toilet was disgusting. So they moved us to another room. It also seemed like the hotel was full of needy families Which did not really affect us. Breakfast was lame. But otherwise Safe, Hospitable and professional.

We chose this hotel because it seemed to have decent ratings, the location, price and it included breakfast. I'm a fan of Wyndham hotels. Check in was fine, we got in late around 11pm. Went up to the room. Went to take a shower and the tub was very dirty. Dirt and stains all over the bottom. Went to blow dry my hair and there were long black hair sticking out of it. We were frustrated but went to bed, it was late and we just got in from a long trip. The next morning we could barely stand up from the bed being incredibly stiff. We noted stains on our pillow cases and what looked to be a large pee stain on the top comforter. I went to sit on the couch to put my shoes on and there were white stains on it, you can decide what you think that is by photos. We left right away, went downstairs to grab breakfast and all they had was cereal, toast and coffee. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

The breakfast was vary limited. Only cold cereal, toast and jelly, apples and sweet rolls. No peanut butter--you couldn't even make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The other Microtels that we stayed at offered some hot egg entrees plus sausage or bacon. The dining area was the smallest that I have ever seen in a Microtel.

Good news, they welcome pets and only charge $20 per. Bad news, the room REEKED of cat urine. I wouldn’t think of sitting on the sofa. It did not look clean and probably was the source of the smell.. The bed was clean and comfortable, and overall the room was in pretty good shape. But they definitely need to do something about the cat odor.
