The hotel has a very upscale feel and was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby and the breakfast was great. They even had chocolate waffle batter for the waffle makers. The pool was nice and clean. Our only complaints were the shower taking more than 5 minutes to get hot and some loud construction worker guests lingering in our hallway late into the night. It was a great stay.

Location dictated the particular hotel. Excellent, professional desk staff. Friendly, courteous and personable staff All accommodations were described and offered. Knowledgeable about the area with restaurants with delivery options, convenient emergency supplies available with the additional snacks for purchase. Location was convenient near a main artery. Room was extremely clean, bedding was comfortable, plenty of extra, hypo-alergenic pillows, quality tv with functional viewing options.

Spent 300 dollars on room and had no toilet paper and nobody to ask for tp. As soon as i walked in to jump in shower, black hairs all over dirty bathroom floor, toilet seat was dirty, and blinds were broken and backwards. Some pillows were nice and soft and sone were stiff and hard not the same pillows. Other than that, nice breakfast and very homey lobby area. Wonderful snack purchase options. Checking in was very smooth and fast. Very loud and crappy location.

I go up to Cortland regularly and always stay at the Hampton Inn. I have stay at other comparable hotels in the area & this is the one I am most comfortable in. Clean, great breakfast, convenient parking and wonderful staff.

Very family friendly as well as pet friendly. All of the staff members were kind and helpful, and sweet to our pups and kiddos. Facility was very clean, and we felt safe and comfortable there. Pool and fitness center were very nice. Loved the coffee, tea and cocoa access all day. Will stay again when we return to the area.

The bottles in the bathroom don't get filled. FAIL. Saw 2 dead bugs on bathroom floor by toilet. They were there for all 3 days of our stay. They did bring some fresh towels on our last night there but did absolutely NOTHING else. I stay in Hampton Inns often enough. I stayed in 2 on this trip. It wasn't any better at the 1st one. Bottles in bathroom were empty there too. May be time to stay at some non-hilton related hotels.

Needs updating and my room was dirty. Found a dog ball under the bed and change all around the bed on the floor. It clearly wasn’t vacuumed around the base of the bed. The bathroom shower is in desperate need of attention

The rooms were not vacuumed properly. One room had muddy dirts and pink nail clippings near ac. Another room had one French fry under the sofa and other room had a dead bug. The attending staff was cordial and stated that we will some points and vacuumed. The nail clippings were still there, didn’t want to bother again as we were out most of the times. Most likely they didn’t have enough time to clean the room before we checked in. One room was out of hand soap and conditioner. Didn’t see daily housekeeping as it was described on the site.

It was a nice stay but upon getting to our room, the automatic shades only went partially up. We did not have enough light. There was no conditioner in the shower, just two shampoos. We were not told what time check out was nor were we told what time breakfast was! The room is clean but a little more attention to details like making sure the blinds work makes a big difference.

It was disappointing that the automatic window blinds didn't work. Although they offered to come fix them we had to put pins in to keep blinds up giving us a bit of sunlight.

The check-in was extremely frustrating, as the one clerk on the desk was on the phone and failed to acknowledge that there was a line of people waiting to check in; she did not appear to be in any hurry to get off the phone and the people waiting (myself included) became quite frustrated. I have never been kept waiting that long to check in during all my years of traveling. There should have been another person to help if the front desk staff has to handle reservations as well. And the price was really outrageous for one night of lodging. I was told that it was because of the local college starting the next week, but that is just price gouging. I was there for a funeral, not to bring my kid to school, so I found it just outrageous. I generally trust Hampton Inn (Hilton) but a bed and a breakfast in Cortland, NY should NOT cost over $400!!!

When making reservations I highly recommend asking if there are any traveling sports teams there during your stay. If yes, find someplace else. For ALL hours of the night there were baseball kids running up and down the 3rd floor hallway and were extremely loud. Even asking them to hold down the noise was useless. Horrible experience.

Room was fine, nothing special… Quite pricey due to local events, but for the amount of money spent, I thought the facility was so so. Very loud, our room was close to the front desk so the noise we were hearing would’ve been heard at the front desk and it took ourselves approaching the front desk to have the, loud argument, squashed the staff taking the initiative themselves that they certainly would’ve heard as well

My room was slightly warmer than I would like. To be fair I like my room freezing. I asked the front seat if they had a fan I could borrow and they obliged. Checkin was very easy and the staff was friendly. I will be staying here again when I am back in town

The overnight front desk employee was rude. He was wearing sweatpants and appeared to have been sleeping in the back when i attempted to purchase items from the snack area. He was rude and unkempt.
