Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square

The website says that there is a bar and a restaurant but when we asked about it they told us that it has been closed for 4 years.

The pictures and add are very dishonest. They make it look like a palace, but the rooms were more like a 20 year old motel 6. They were clean, but not nearly as nice as the photos made them look. They advertised a hotel bar that has been closed since the pandemic. And they stuck us with a standard “facility charge” of 37 dollars per day when we checked out. This was not part of the pricing and was tacked on, per standard procedure, at checkout. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just resent dishonest practices.

Quite a central location just off Times Square. If thats the location you want to be at. Very tired hotel, despite the photos and info about the hotel the restaurant is not open. Its been shut for 3 years

The room was very dirty. We found an old dirty sandal under the chair. Our room did not have a fridge as advertized. The lounge and restaurant were not operating as advertized. However the staff was great and the location was convenient to tumes square and transportation.

Hotel was convenient to everything in NYC. Parking (which can be a pain in NYC) was fairly priced, right across the street, and safe. Someone was on sit at all hours of the day and night. Hotel was clean, staff was amazing and beds were super comfortable.

The room and hotel needs some upgrades. No fridge, no microwave.

Everything was great! Just the fact we had no mini fridge or microwave bothered me!

The staff at guest services were nice. The room was clean standard. The property, what's average, the environment was slightly okay, uh, a few homeless people were in the area. They didn't physical harm anyone. The only issue I had with the room didn't have a microwave to heat your food. If you went out and eat because I was told that the hotel no longer has a restaurant upon arrival.

I was disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room, which was quite inconvenient. The cleanliness left much to be desired — it was done rather superficially. However, when we asked for a clean comforter, they did bring us a fresh one, which I appreciated. The furniture was very worn out and definitely in need of an update. That said, these issues were somewhat balanced out by the great view from the room and the excellent location, close to the main tourist attractions.

Property was dingy and old. The room smelled like stale smoke and had been cleaned but had years of wear and dirt on it. It does not look like the photos. The lobby was more of the same. I booked a room with 2 beds but when we checked in they told us they had oversold those rooms and only had a room with a single king bed for my son and me. Staff acts like they don’t like there jobs and we’re not friendly like you would be used to at a much better hotel chain. NOT worth the money stay at one of the more well known chains. They also told me the ball drop view rooms (which I also booked but did not get) don’t have good views but I don’t know for sure because I didn’t get the room I booked. Hotel is about 1/2 block off the main strip. Location was the only good thing about this hotel. Planned the trip because it was my 12 yr olds dream trip and the hotel really disappointed us both and will be remembered as the worst part of our trip.

I absolutely loved the location! I’d stayed before over 20 years ago. The staff were pleasant and helpful and had smiles at the ready! Our room was clean but a faint smell of mildew was detected as well as the presence of some dark spots in the bath that may or may not have been mold spores. Overall great value for for phenomenal location if you want to stay near the hustle and bustle!

Everything was nice. Room was clean. Staff was excellent.

There was no control of the temperature, room was 78 degrees and no way to cool it off. Tub water backed up during shower. Rugs in room were dirty and big stains. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. That was the only good part. Would not stay again.

The cleanliness of this hotel is very questionable. The curtains were absolutely nasty, the bathroom looked it wasn’t washed after the guest prior to me checking in and the water drained so slowly. The staff were nice. Only reason I’d mostly reconsider this hotel is because of its location despite being in Times Square they did a pretty good job keeping the noise out of the room.

Great location. Very walkable. Loved being able to check my bags while exploring the city until check in time. Room was pretty rundown. Upon my check in, garbage from previous guest was still in the bathroom.

Extremely dirty. Stained carpets, dirty shower, dirty curtains etc. I had a ball drop room that had what looked like dried soda on the ceiling. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

The staff was great. Very friendly. Wonderful. The rooms, specially the furniture is very old… and not “outdated” I literally mean “old” the dressers were cracked, dented, and had doors that wouldn’t stay closed. The light fixtures did not work properly. And the charging ports did not work at all.

The temperature in the room was 76 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 65 degrees. Opening the window did not help to cool off the room. Also, the lock on the bathroom door was sticky and we got stuck in the bathroom more than once.

The view was stunning, but the room was outdated and needed repairs.

Location was awesome however rooms are dated and our air conditioning didn’t work, room was at 77° the entire stay despite being set at 68°.

It was very dated and AC didn’t work. Housekeeping was INCREDIBLY loud every morning.

For the price, it was not just disappointing, it was unacceptable. The condition of the furniture was falling apart, the carpet was disgusting, and the beds were terribly uncomfortable. There was literal electrical tape holding lights together, broken wood all along the headboard, varnish coming off of the dresser, nightstand and desk, and it was overall disgusting.

Perfect location by Times Square, Bryant park, restaurants, subways. Safe, quiet on 27 floor (goes to like 50), spacious room. Great hvac, water pressure, hot water. Outdated but who cares? Fast elevators. Great value

The room needs updating badly as well as just normal maintenance. Couldn’t get cool air to save my life!

Got there early around 1pm met family from out of town. Now i know checkin us 4pm but were there early and didn't get rooms(we had 2 rooms) until after 4pm and that included constant trips to the checkin desk even though we were preregistered and after people coming in and getting their room keys over and over again i was frustrated sincerely. Eventually we were told we were waiting so long for room cleaning and inspection. Well let's talk abt inspection my room had no coffee pot at all had to request and the 2nd room in our party had no glasses in their room or coffee maker. So my question is "what inspection" becz inspection would seen that. With that being said overall good hotel clean respectful and attractive staff once checked in. I had a event planned for 5:30 and this hold up to me seemed unnecessary. Again my stay was good for the most part but revisit or recommend not sure abt that part

Excellent experience. Staff was professional, friendly and very accommodating. Great location with shops, restaurants and subway within easy walking distance. Room was comfy and clean.

I booked a two-bed room through Expedia, but on arrival was given a single. I was told all two-bed rooms were sold out and the only option was to pay for a suite. The “suite” was underwhelming, and I ended up on an uncomfortable fold-out couch to accommodate my colleague. Later that evening, the water stopped working. When we called down, staff were curt and dismissive, simply saying the whole building was without water. No apology, discount, or effort to make up for the inconvenience was offered. In the end they just placed the blame for the booking on Expedia, gave me a fold out couch ina "suite" and a poor experience. The one bright spot was the housekeeping staff, especially one gentleman from Jamaica who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a bad impression. With so many options in New York, I’ll choose differently next time.

Staff support lacking! Waited almost four hours in lobby before room was ready. Was told by several staff that no rooms were available when asked three times while waiting across from the front desk. Finally asking for the fourth time at 3:30pm with different person and was told it was. She asked why we waited so long to ask. She thought we were checking out and saw us waiting all this time. I told her we asked every hour and was told it wasn't ready every time. Room was bare bones. No desk clock. No phone. No coffee maker. We only needed to stay the night, so it wasn't a big deal. Poor service and very limited enmities for the price. Can't recommend.

Staff was overwhelmingly helpful and nice! Beds were super comfy even though it was a double when we are accustomed to a king. Engineer quick to respond when toilet needed to be unclogged. Love the location! Helped make our trip even more enjoyable!

When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t check into our room until 9 PM instead of 4 PM because they were having issues. We then had to change clothes in the gym bathroom and wait around for five hours to get our rooms. We had requested double beds several months ago, and they didn’t have any available when we got there. We then had to request a roller bed and had to wait 1.5 hours to get it. There was no remote control so we had to call maintenance to have them bring us one. The AC wasn’t working. The coffee pot was broken.

Check in time 4 o’clock. Asked three times before 4 if room was ready, it was not which I understood but was told at the front desk that they guaranteed it would be ready at 4. At 4 I was told there was a leak and there wasn’t a room available. They said they would guarantee one by 10:00 PM. The manager that came out to tell me this was not very pleasant and somewhat rude. The desk clerk came back after about 5 to 10 minutes and all of a sudden there is a room available. The bathroom in the room was pretty filthy, ring around the tub, counter and floors dirty, mold everywhere in the shower, shampoo/soap dispensers filthy on the outside, no hair conditioner-empty bottle. Following day went out to tour around and a manager leaves me a voicemail on my phone, saying to call them or go to the desk when I got back. No reason why on the voicemail. Did not get home till late, so did not stop by the desk to see the manager because we were exhausted. Next day stopped by and spoke with the manager and he said they were going to give us a different room. He said the manager on the first day told me that they would give us another room, however, the manager said nothing. The manager who left the Voicemail said nothing about changing rooms at at that point we only had one night left. Of course we’re not going to pack up and move at that point. Great location, really dirty hotel, and not very pleasant staff. They don’t even clean your bathrooms, only deliver fresh towels. 👎👎👎👎👎

I spent 3 nights at Millennium, and the experience was great. The location is great. It took 3 minutes to walk to Times Square, and it is so close to the subway too. The environment is safe, and it's not loud at night. We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this to somebody who first gets to NYC and want to explore nightlife in NYC.

This hotel was in a great location. Practically in Times Square, walkable to everything in Midtown. Easy to get downtown and Central Park was a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were a little dated but the beds were comfortable and the room served its purpose. Overall I will stay here again.

Perfectly located in Times Square and close to broadway theatre's. Staff is always pleasant and accommodating.

I was disappointed cause the restaurant is closed and upstairs is closed off I wasn’t told this before booking it seems every area was open that was disappointing it was my boyfrens birthday

Location was great. But this is definitely an older property. Some outlets didn’t work. Rooms were not the cleanest. No restaurant on property as advertised. AC was out during that day for 2 days during our stay.
