Staff was lovely and professional, mattress was one of the best I've encountered in a hotel. There were several stains on the carpet that should be cleaned out or replaced. The listing for the hotel should make it very clear that there is no elevator.

They took a photo copy of my drivers license. We travel a ton and this never happens. One of our phones was jailbroke. That person used the WIFI, I did not. Hmmmmmm. No elevator either.

Hotel is currently being renovated. All of the furnishings, carpets, etc in our room were new. However, dumpsters in the parking lot and renovation waste piled up in areas detracted from the overall experience.

Terrible stay! Will not be returning. Ice machine was broke all 3 nights of stay. Shower drain was clogged all 3 nights. Staff was informed each night of this issue. VERY limited options for breakfast. Friday morning they were out of their limited options. No breakfast. Friday morning i asked for our dirty towels to be removed and fresh towels delivered. I asked at 8am. At 11:30 pm i returned to my room to discover that the soiled towels had been removed but no new towels had been delivered. Went to the front desk to inquire. Uncaring clerk said that all the towels were being bleached and i might be able to get some in the morning. Went to bed unable to dry my hands, wash my face, etc. Spoke to the morning clerk Saturday morning. I hadbeen lied to the night before. The towels had been in the dryer, someone just didn't want to do their job. Again, very disappointing. Do not recommend this hotel!

Clean & comfortable! The only thing I didn’t like was there was no elevator. Steps are difficult for me. I would stay there again and ask for a ground floor room. Very nice! Bob Evans restaurant in same parking lot. Bonus!

Very unprofessional owners. The bathroom floors were sticky and the “cleaning” items were left in our room in the dresser. Our key cards never worked and it was difficult to find the desk staff to let us one out friends had made these reservations almost a year in advance and the hotel cancels their reservations the day of check in at 430pm leaving them stranded for a big concert in the area. 10/10 do not recommend

There was a litany of issues. First, the property charges an "early check-in fee" if you want to check in anytime before 3pm. (Not Disclosed) After checking into the room, the comfortor had stains on it, towels were different shades of dingy brown, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, the curtain was broken to the room and wouldn't close all the way, the carpet turned the bottom of your feet black, and the TV only had 14 channels on it. General Manager Kayla Schultz did not make any concessions or corrections to the situations and was not understanding at all with the issues and concerns. When I first tried to check in at 1:30 PM, there was not one at the front desk and I walked around for 15 minutes and couldn't find anyone that worked there. There were only 2 cars in the otherwise empty parking lot. I left to get gas and food then came back around 2PM befeore anyone was there. I wanted to cancel the whole booking due to circumstances and conditions and the manager refused to allow the cancellation without charging the night. I was forced to subject my teenage daughter to these substandard conditions as I could not afford to pay for another night without getting fees waived for this one.

The staff was helpful, friendly the room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was very good. Check in and check out was easy. Only one issue we came across was trying to watch TV the numbers were not the channels so we couldn’t find what we were trying to watch. We were unfamiliar with the area, not a lot of places to dine and the street into town was closed due to a carnival. But it was as closer to our destination (Attica Raceway) than most and the price was very reasonable. All in All it was a good stay. Thank You!

Stayed for 4 nights, each morning requested housekeeping. They never cleaned the room any of the days we requested. One of the days they left the door open to the room all day. Luckily nothing was stolen. When we let the front desk know about it he stated it's a house keeping issue not his issue. We also attempted to get towels and the man at the front desk stated the don't have any and once again it is a housekeeping issue not his issue. We had to got to the store to buy towel since the hotel didn't have any. We will not be returning.

The person who checked us in ignored us. He was in the middle of checking someone in when we entered the lobby. It was clear we were looking to get assistance. After he finished helping the couple ahead of us he went into an area we couldn't view and it sounded like he was playing online video games. We waited for about a minute and said excuse me and he then responded immediately and checked us in. He did not have very good customer service skills and said maybe 5 words in total with us.

Clean & comfortable! The only thing I didn’t like was there was no elevator. Steps are difficult for me. I would stay there again and ask for a ground floor room. Very nice! Bob Evans restaurant in same parking lot. Bonus!

This is a basic property. No frills but has everything one needs for a quick stay. The eggs at breakfast were not made from fresh eggs. Would have been nice to have a toast option and hotter water for coffee. Hence, not of quality and not edible. The scent mechanism in the hallway was way too strong. One can get a headache from it. We did book one room for wheelchair access. We recommend that the owner check the magnet that holds the door open. It is hit or miss. Also, if there is a wheelchair accessible room, one should also offer beds that are lower to the ground. Chances are someone needs to get in to bed more easily if they are in a wheelchair. That said, the staff was helpful in locating a stepping stool. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Terrible stay! Will not be returning. Ice machine was broke all 3 nights of stay. Shower drain was clogged all 3 nights. Staff was informed each night of this issue. VERY limited options for breakfast. Friday morning they were out of their limited options. No breakfast. Friday morning i asked for our dirty towels to be removed and fresh towels delivered. I asked at 8am. At 11:30 pm i returned to my room to discover that the soiled towels had been removed but no new towels had been delivered. Went to the front desk to inquire. Uncaring clerk said that all the towels were being bleached and i might be able to get some in the morning. Went to bed unable to dry my hands, wash my face, etc. Spoke to the morning clerk Saturday morning. I hadbeen lied to the night before. The towels had been in the dryer, someone just didn't want to do their job. Again, very disappointing. Do not recommend this hotel!

The hotel is just ok. We only spent one night so it was fine but I wouldn’t spend longer. It’s an old hotel. There were stains in the tub and the sheets were super thin and old. The hotel could use some updating. The breakfast was very limited.

Plumbing is an issue, toilet in our room would not flush. After voicing our concern was handed a plunger. Maintenance was then called, to no avail. After speaking to several other customers it was apparently a common concern. We were told to use restroom down stairs near front desk. TV didn't work. Breakfast was poor at best. Would not recommend this location unless to sleep and leave
