Best Western Clermont

The staff were very friendly. They had a wonderful breakfast every morning and the lady doing it was great. Had a hard time getting into the pool area with our keys.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Staff was nice. Breakfast bar was decent, and laid out nicely. The small gym they had was nice, and very clean.

Loved the pool

This is a great hotel for seeing a concert at River Bend. It is not too far and inexpensive. The pool was a nice extra treat.

It was absolutely terrible. They did not honor a disabled vet rate, nor a best western card holder. The first room we had was absolute used after it was “cleaned” or the cleaning crew used it. Soap was opened and used and towels were damp. And it STUNK of almost a mildew or wet dog scent. We moved to a second room (2nd floor with a disabled vet and special needs child and no elevator) with all of our belongings. Only to not be able to get into the room due to the safety latch being used on the inside and the card not working on the other suite door. Even the managers master key wouldn’t work. Finally moved to a 3rd room across the parking lot on the second floor (more stairs). Nothing was said and/or done about it compensation wise. Will not recommend or ever stay at likely another best wester again.

We were disappointed that we couldn’t use the pool when we got in in the evening because it closed at 10:00pm.

Nice green space or the dogs

It’s an older renovated hotel. Has everything you need. Breakfast is delish. Only issue is you had to find someone to unlock the pool everyday and the key cards rarely worked. Not huge but I like my coffee outside by the pool when I’m on vacation. Id stay again though.

Good stay at best western. Did the job for our 1 nights stay. Bummed about the pool being closed after Labor Day. With a kid, that’s the one perk that we NEED. But it’s the end of summer, understandably. Sad we missed it by 2 days! Great breakfast spread though..made up for it!

The 1st night was ok, was not pleased with their business center as the printer would not work. Asked for a do not disturb sign to hang on outside of door for privacy. Left it there the following day while I was gone as I don’t like people in the room while I am not there. Got back to the room and discovered the maid had ignored the sign and went in and cleaned the room and left the bathroom light on and ironing board was left up. I went up to the lobby and requested to see the manager. Night clerk called him and he said he would speak to housekeeping. I replied that wasn’t good enough and demanded to see him. I was told later he told the night clerk he would speak to me this morning. Again I said not good enough, I demanded to speak to him last night. He again told the night clerk he would speak to me this morning. At that point I told the clerk I was requesting one night charge to be taken off my bill, I would submit a unsatisfactory review on Trip Advisor and I would bury them. After thinking about it, I found a different hotel for last night’s stay and checked out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as management won’t work to resolve issues. When I checked out I told the desk clerk that I couldn’t stay anywhere I didn’t feel safe. When that do not disturb sign is on the door it means do not disturb or enter that room. My privacy had been violated and I did not feel safe there.

Room smelled like smoke, and toilets were not clean .and there was a dirty used rag from the previous visitor hanging up in the bathroom.

Very clean room, with new carpeting and furniture in excellent condition. Always enjoy staying there. Also very convenient to by-pass.

I arrived late due and had no issues with check in, the staff on check in and out, were very nice and helpful. My room was very clean and smelled nice, the floors looked new. I did not take advantage of all the amenities due to my schedule, but I did notice the lobby area was nicely set up and looked like it had a good breakfast layout. Wifi password was provided and worked really well. I was very satisfied with this location and experience.

Blood was found on the doorway, pair of boxers were found slung over shower, hair left around sink and toilet

The toilet was filthy. The floor wasn’t vacuumed We asked for a ground floor room as I have mobility issues. I was told that none were available however the hotel was far from full. Someone also walked right into our room while we were in there. He couldn’t speak English only mandarin and had to use a translator to tell us he was checking g out the room. Unacceptable. The property has gone downhill. We used to stay here consistently. Will look elsewhere after this experience.

The entire room was a filthy mess. Tub had hair in it. Dirt, loose caulk around tub and baseboard. Pubic hair and dried urine on toilet. Felt like we had to, and we did, check for bedbugs. Thank God no bedbugs. But having to use bathroom in nite, there was a roach scurrying from bathroom to under sink over baseboard and wall. Put clothes and shoes on to sleep rest of nite

Check in delayed while staff finished conversation. First room (120) had a suspicious red/ brown bug on bottom of bed when I checked into the room, and I alerted staff. Second room (132) had a strong urine smell and half the lights wouldn’t work. Third room had a heavy smoke smell. Staff notified, pictures taken and smell of smoke documented. Still awaiting management to contact me. Advice, choose another hotel!

the location of the property was the reason for the booking - close to family and the interstate. Hotel was "tired" but room was spacious and comfortable. Price was high for the age of property/amenities but worth it for the accessibility.

King suite is a big room (basically two hotel rooms combined). Outdoor pool area is nice.

Squeaky bed, could hear everything from room above us, check in wasn’t very informative as far as breakfast, pool location or check out times

Very dated, poor quality shower…took forever to get hot water, no grab bars at all. Room was clean, but had an odd smell. Beds and pillows comfortable. The breakfast bar is only open until 9:00 so by the time we showered and got downstairs, it was over. It’s not the worst I’ve ever seen but I wouldn’t stay again. I think I’ve been spoiled by VRBO and Airbnb.

Desperately needs an update. You could see through the sheets they were soooo old . Frayed and dented. Don’t accept a room by the Freeway, loud. The pictures look good.

The staff was friendly and professional. They even called to let us know we had left a jacket behind! The 2 room, 2 bath, Family Suite, was the perfect configuration, although the sofabed, was not very comfortable. A regular bed, in that room, would have been better. All in all…a great stay! And the free breakfast, was very good! Even though, it was a bit dated,..(park at your outside door) the price was excellent, and we’d definitely stay here again! Convenient to Riverbend.

It was a place to lay my head, beds were hard and the room smelled like urine. The biscuits and gravy were excellent.

Room was very clean, a/c was on and room smelled great when we walked in. Great location, 10 minute drive to Riverbend. The breakfast was very good!

I booked a hotel through the app, and apparently the price was different than the price listed on the app, so check-in and checkout took way longer than than it should've, and the staff didn't know how to use the computer to figure it out. The hotel room itself was clean and had no bugs from my search and had good air conditioning.

Clean and convenient. We stayed here to attend a concert at Riverbend and it’s only a few minutes away. I left my sound machine behind after my stay and the staff was kind enough to call and offer to mail it to me.

Air conditioning on the fritz when we arrived, finally got it working ourselves after multiple calls to the front desk where no one answered the phone. Shower was ICE COLD, no warmth to the water at all 😟

The breakfast was just what I needed after a night at Riverbend. It does end at 9am, so plan accordingly.

Clean and conveniently located near lots of shopping and dining options, close to Downtown and Riverbend. Friendly and helpful managers, front desk staff and housekeeping. Nice continental breakfast included!

This hotel was conveniently located for the reasons of our visit. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel and onto the main road. The room was nice and the bed comfortable.

It is off the highway and quiet. Many first floor rooms which we appreciated. Clean and safe. Pleasant woman at checkin.

This is the first hotel I booked on Hotels.com and I was disappointed. 1) did not get a queen bed 2) the fridge did not work 3) breakfast was limited from 8am to 9pm on Sunday 4) the fridge did not work 5) the CO detector acted up at 3qm 6) the rate was way too high for what we got

Guy at front desk was super nice. The breakfast wasn't so great and the room definitely smelled like smoke, even the pillows. The lobby smelled smoke as well. The room was pretty clean and everything was pretty quiet but the bed is a bit hard.
