Staff friendly, property sidewalk needs repair & bed frame had protruding metal piece that I bumped & cut my leg on. Reported it to 3 service desk employees & still not fixed so left note for the maid after 3rd day on departure.

This was an average hotel room with two queen beds. It did have plenty of seating which was nice and several different lighting options that were better than usual which I appreciated. However the hand soap and coffee and cups offered in the room were awful and the vending machines were out of order.

Was a bit of mold on the ceiling or what looked to be at least. One of the beds underneath the sheets was stained. The options, or lack there of in the lobby for things to buy (like snacks, drinks etc.) were few and far between. And to boot the vending machines didn't work. Decent stay for the amount the room is but if it was any more expensive I'd definitely be making more of a fuss.

You definitely get what you pay for. If you are doing short stay, it's a fine hotel, the rooms were adequately clean, but not fastidiously clean. The room was missing light bulbs and was in ill repair. A closet door was not cut properly and interacted with the floor making it imposibble to open all the way. Cardboard was used to fix the bathroom door strike plate. Not enough linens for the pull out bed. Dead bugs in the window and curtain area, and a odd odour in the room itself. Elevator made interesting noises, hallways were dark and hard to see in and the floors in the hallways had an interesting warped and bouncy construction. Ice machine out of order. Continental breakfast was mediocre at best. Don't set your expectations very high. The staff was friendly and smiling, which saves the review somewhat. it seems to be family owned and operated. The hotel is obviously old, and I feel if they invested in some bulk packs of light bulbs, it would do wonders for reviews. Our bathroom only had two out of five lightbulbs in the fixture. If you are just looking for a place close to the highway to sleep, this hotel is fine, but if you are expecting creature comforts, look elsewhere. It's a cheap hotel that looks like a cheap hotel. Overall I'd give this a solid 2.5 stars out of 5

They need to fix the east auxiliary entrance so the door actually closes/latches without deliberate exertion of force. Other than that, this place is great! Conveniently located and run by very nice people.

Room was very clean but bathroom door would not latch as knob was in wrong spot to latch. Area around outside of hotel was very overgrown and needed mowed. Beds around side and back of hotel were full of weeds with not landscaping. Morning desk clerk had to to take care of desk and also breakfast area. She worked very hard but couldn't keep tables and breakfast area clean and supplied.

The room smelled like mildew/mold to the point my eyes hurt, probably allergies. The tub was slippery and I hit my shin getting in. There wasnt a person at the front desk to give my card to so I had to just leave it to checkout. The location is easy enough to get to but not a whole lot around it.

The room was ample and the bed comfortable. However, the floor was dirty in my room and by the elevator. The breakfast was poor. The room phone was out of order and lightbulbs were out in the bathroom. There was a group of young girls making lots of noise in the hallway until late at night that the management was unable to quiet down. The managers on duty were polite and respectful, which despite the above complaints, was appreciated.

Shower was half working, not hot water for shower, beds creaky, hard, old and caved in. The carpet was torn up by the front door. We also got weird square pillows which I’m not sure if that’s normal for comfort inn but if you wanted to sit in the bed and lay back it didn’t really work comfortably. My biggest issue was the whole half working shower head and lack of hot water which really made it suck. The stay wasn’t comfortable but it was somewhere to sleep. The bright side is that it was relatively quiet at night and I could actually get some sleep.

Well, first off the room above me I could hear them walking around. It was as if I was at home with someone living over me or maybe a 2nd story in my house. The closet needed to be dusted and cleaned and the bathroom door was slightly bigger than the frame. In other words I could not close the door completely. We had to have the room keys reactivated twice, for a 2 day trip. A TWO DATE TRIP??????

We had a devastating family emergency. My son and I dropped everything to get here ASAP. I booked our room at 140 pm. Was on the way, I called the hotel at 630 pm while traveling, explained our situation and let them know we would be arriving between 2-3 am. Was told it was fine, I needed to check-in by 530 am. Traffic and construction delayed us on occasion. The hotel called at 1237 am and asked when I would be here because he was "waiting for me". Our ETA was 239. We were in Charleston WV. Construction delay again. We finally pull up at 327. The hotel CALLED AGAIN asking where I was. I told him, very aggravated, we were pulling up to the door right then. He seemed upset. I came in, he gave us our room card. The halls smelled similar to animal urine. We got to our room, opened the door and found the room had not been cleaned at all from the last occupants. Dirty towels, unmade beds. We went back to the desk. Told him I didn't appreciate being harassed on getting here to check in, but my room wasn't even clean! He mumbled about being sorry (after I showed him the video). We were placed in another room. Sheets and covers were stained. If we could have gone somewhere else, we would have. On day 2, our key was cutoff and was told checkout was 1100. Had to show proof of 3 days. Never again staying there!

I've been using this hotel for the past couple years. The service and presentation has always been great. The price has gone up a little bit but hasn't changed the way that I feel about the establishment. I've recommended this place to others and they have not been disappointed. Continue the good work.

I was told I had to give a deposit for a room, just so happens I'm black. My white friends who also booked a room did not have to give a deposit. That's all I have to say about it. Will not be staying at this property again.

Upon arrival through no fault of the Hotel there was a power outage which effected the entire area. Approximately an hour later power was restored and we checked in. It is close to Interstate I 675 and most restaurants are close but not walkable.

This was an average stay. We stayed here the night before the solar eclipse. Pros: 1. Close to WPAFB 2. Comfortable beds 3. Staff was very nice Cons 1. Room had a broken smoke detector--it wasn't even attached to the ceiling 2. A chunk of the bottom wall in the bathroom is broken 3. Thin breakfast and eggs were cold. Upgrades on the rooms and better breakfast options would make for a better stay in the future.

The trash was overflowing in the lobby. Coffee was cold. Looks like they attempted to renovate but there are paint splatters galore all over the floors. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small.
