Pool needed cleaned

The ice machine in the lobby has been broken for two years I think you should fix it. The room smelled and we had to open the door for awhile. We stay here twice a year and we have always liked it but I did not like the smell this time.

Property is pretty descent but the pool was nasty, cloudy green as if it were left untreated. If your looking for a place with a nice cared for pool to relax in, look elsewhere. If you just want a place to sleep, this works.

Had to have the TV fixed as soon as I arrived then I noticed the pool is actually green. And I got to be honest with you the breakfast sucks

Pillows weren't great, but that's my only complaint with the room. Sign said "Pool is now open", but someone forgot to put water in it...heh, heh. But a great little hotel overall! I don't expect a place this cheap to have a breakfast, and there's was small, but alright. Cereal, toast, waffle makers, juice, milk, maybe a couple other things. Comfortable, clean, cheap...nice!

My rating is at the price point. The bed and pillows were perfect and I’m picky. The place was clean and I always inspect before I unload into a room. The I heated pool was clean and open. HVAC worked and had excellent controllability. Friendly staff. I would stay here and go out of my way to stay here. It’s everything a motel should be. Only thing I would’ve like was a vending machine. But you’re minutes from anything you need and Pizza Hut next door.

I like the convenience of nearby shopping, The room could have been cleaner, The pool was hideous looking

We (all my family)randomly come over here for 2-3 days at a time for the purpose of the pool and the area and today our last night we got told the pool was closed at 8:40 ish pm when the signs all around us literally say 9:00am-10:00pm that really mad all of us that are having a wonderful time enjoying things we paid for have to stop what we are doing and pick up all our stuff and go back to our room bc the male desk dude decided he don’t want us out there and locked it up this is completely bs also the tv is terrible the fridge doesn’t stay cold and why are the towels so small their child size I want a refund for at least half I paid for this is stupidity!!!!!

The pool area was a nice place to get away and relax. The ice machine and vending machines all we not operational. The room I thought I reserved was supposed to have a couch in the room however there was not any at all.

Woke up to over 20 bedbug bites and there was no offer to rectify the situation from staff after telling them so.

The sheets slipped off of the bed, and it looked like there was a huge blood stain on the mattress. There were crusty stains on the shower curtain. The floors had not been cleaned and there were crumbs and dirt all over them. The pillows had old blood stains on them. The remote was sticky and had and oily residue all over it

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Have stayed here many times. Inexpensive, clean and great location.

Overall wasnt bad for the price but t.v. didnt work and there werent any blankets besides these thin brown over covers which had tons of stains on them. There was food on the walls. Bugs in the bed. Not bedbugs but like dead flys. Nothing too crazy but didnt sleep with any of the blankets and glad to have brought my own. Stayed one night.

I could barely hear the clerk through the glass due to the ice machine in the lobby being so loud. The base boards had so much dirt on them. The floors were dirty making my socks dirty in the short amount of time I was there. The beds are very uncomfortable. The towels are too thin and rough. The laundry should be more centralized within the property. The tub and sink were clean but the toilet bowl was not.

I would NEVER recommend to book a stay here! They do have bedbugs! We spent 1 night and woke up with bites that blistered! I then went back and looked at previous reviews and we are not the only ones to experience this. I tried speaking with the manager politely but she is nothing but RUDE and just completely denied the allegations but then stated they had previously bombed for them! Due to her inconsideration I will be posting on EVERY review site possible.!

Most of the staff wasnt friendly. Although, they did accommodate an early check in. The rooms were dirty. Found hair in my bed.

The property was easy to access and a good location. The lobby was clean and updated. In my room, the bathroom was clean and updated, and the furniture was all in very good shape. The linens on the bed, however, were disgusting. There was visible dirt on one, and the sheets were old and pilling significantly. Oh and there was a dead spider on the nightstand when I walked in. The room had an unpleasant musty smell, which is not uncommon for cheap hotels, but it was worse than typical. You get what you pay for, and I understand that. But even at this low price point, I expected better.

Microwave and refrigerator, but the fridge needed cleaning and there was frozen food from a previous guest. It lacks the the amenities of coffee maker, hair dryer, or face tissue box. The shampoo is in small pouches. The breakfast is very limited, basically coffee, juice, waffles, toast, and a couple of cereals. For the price, it’s an okay stay for a quick night’s lodging.

The room was clean. The refrigerator still had food in it. The bed was horrible. We only had a half of a roll of toilet paper, one bar of soap. The breakfast was not good either.

The property was conveniently located and the staff was pleasant and competent. The room was comfortable, but the lighting was too dim, and my room had not been cleaned very well. There was some debris on the floor, and a food item had been left in the mini-fridge from a previous guest. The bed was very comfortable.

At least the room I got was very clean, and it didn't look old at all. The hotel has many amenities that big name hotels have, on a small scale of course. The only thing that bothered me was the AC unit was right next to the bed and would blow cold air on me whenever it came on to maintain temperature in the room.

I stayed here Saturday August 2nd into Sunday August 3rd and was unable to sleep. There were other guests playing extremely loud music, so loud that I could feel vibrations in bed as I was trying to sleep. This went on until the early morning hours. After reading other reviews for this location, it seems as though previous guests have also experienced this. If you are trying to get a restful nights sleep, I would not recommend staying here.

Room kind of small but suitable for our stay. Everything was extrememly clean shower, base boards etc. My son went to get a bowl of cereal a little after 9 which was cut off for breakfast and they wouldn’t allow him to which I thought was a little ridiculous but overall it was a nice stay. The beds to me were not good but I have problems with that pretty much everywhere. I would definitely stay again for the price which was an excellent price.

Beds were hard and noisy, but they did the job they were intended for. Air Conditioner would shut off after so many minutes and would take another 5-10 minutes to get it to come back on. Horribly hot in our room, had to leave the door open for a while to get air flow.

It seemed to be in a quiet area, didn't hear the other guests making any noise. But the bath towels, while clean were thin and a bit harsh feeling. The room amenities were pretty non-exsistant (no coffee maker, tissues, blow dryer, conditioner, and only a small packet of shampoo). And the breakfast was less then grab and go. Just some pre-bagged slices of bread (2 slices per baggie), cold cereal and a waffle maker (the waffles tasted funny so we tossed them) along with coffee and orange juice.

Clean, staff was awesome!

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. She gave us information about breakfast and check out and explained to us how to get to our room. Room was very clean. Would recommend this motel it’s close to shopping and restaurants.

This property is okay, when I arrived the clerk who was a bit rude in my opinion. Said I couldn't use a certain set of Doors but there signs telling me other wise. Me not trying to argue or be a Karen I just said "Okay" and left it at that. The room however was very clean and well kept, bed was nice and comfy, had mattress encasements which is IMPORTANT while you're traveling because of Bed Bugs. I think There needs to be some body wash other than "Facial Soap". However On my last day on a sunday. My spouse and I woke up 30 mins before Breakfast was supposed to end, but when we went into the lobby the front desk person said it was closed at 9, when the sign in our room said it closed at 10AM. The Breakfast needs more variety rather than just Waffles, Cereal and Bread. Fresh Fruit, Eggs and Bacon (if possible), granola bars or anything more really would make the Breakfast experience better.

The staff was unfriendly especially the midnight desk clerk. I rented a room at 1:00 in the morning because I was traveling and he called and tried to make me leave at the room at 11:00 a.m. to check out and when I booked it online it was at 24 hours day

This is was a last minute decision and it was an excellent choice! Staff was so kind and helpful. The room was clean and neat! All around A++++++

The receptionist when I called before my reservation was unnecessarily rude after i tried my absolute best to be kind. By the time we checked in, she had left and the other employee was real nice.

This hotel is exactly what you would expect for the price. We came for one night just a quick trip to get a puppy and needed something last minute, pet friendly. The pros were obviously the price and the pet friendly. It was also conveniently located to lots of restaurants and a cvs, etc. The cons were that we originally had two conjoining rooms which is what I wanted but when we went to those rooms there were about 10-15 people outside with a grill and music just crowding the sidewalk so we asked for different rooms so we could get some sleep as we were leaving early. Unfortunately the walls were thin. A woman screamed all night. There was lots of banging and it just went on all night. There was not a lot of water pressure and zero basic amenities I.e shampoo conditioner or even a blow dryer. Again. It did the job and you pretty much just get what you pay for. Front desk personal were friendly and helpful. They changed our rooms with no issues and when our key didn’t work they were quick to get it fixed. If I HAD to stay in St Clairsville again and it had to be pet friendly I would stay again.

Clean, quiet, and (limited) breakfast included. This motel is perfect for a one night stay when you’re on your way someplace else. It’s convenient to the highway, close to stores and restaurants, and it’s pet friendly. The only drawback was the firm, innerspring mattress. If they switched out the beds I would have rated it even better. But the price was the best around!

Scary part of town & scetchy tenants. Many rooms looked like long term rentals. 2 men slept in a car overnight. Creepy.

The stay was fine Good dining and shopping options nearby

Location was excellent. Room was very clean and spacious. Water was hot and pressure strong. On the downside I had to park in a snow bank. The parking spot was not at all cleared of recent snow. Same for most of the area around the property

There was a pizza hut within walking distance and we were very happy about that.

Nice location to visit Wheeling! Our staff and room were excellent. Professional, courteous at check-in. The room was clean, mostly updated, and quiet. Close to a large Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again in the future.

The room and bathroom were clean. Everything was functional. The beds were very comfy. We checked in around 1am with no issues. The staff was very nice. Parking was easy, and the location is very convenient to major roads.

I stay here for the convenience of location to stores and restaurants.

The room was clean as was the hotel. The ice machine was out of order. Breakfast was far from adequate and nothing like the on-line picture. No protein or fresh fruit was available. No tea or hot water for non-coffee drinkers.

Very friendly & accommodating check in. Very clean, very comfortable bed & pillows. *Not much for breakfast tho, & everyone had to ask at the desk for waffle batter.

The floors needed to be mopped. The tables had some residue left from cleaning spray. The check-in was very easy and the staff was nice. Breakfast left something to be desired. I don't consider waffles and/or toast a continental breakfast.
