The staff was very quick at check-in and accommodating any issues we had. Our microwave didnt work at first but they sent someone to replace it right away. The indooe and outdoor pool with hor tub was amazing and the breakfast was decent. Only issue was it was very busy and some options were limited at breakfast and the staff pulled stuff as soon as it was almost done so people who were in there couldnt get anything else after the time was done. But overall great place for kids and not too far from Cedar Point.

I really enjoyed the indoor and out door pools and the jacuzzi was fantastic. I wish the little concession stand was open for the outdoor pool, but overall i would go back and stay here for sure!!

The outside pool was nice but the inside pool Was freezing cold and there were no lights on inside. It was crowded and noisy and alot of unaccompanied minors in the hot tub throwing ice cubes and cold water in.

Property had an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a hot tub area. The website needs to be updated as the property is a bit outdated according to the online pictures. The pool side bar is no longer open. The lobby area is very small. The rooms were very clean, they could use some updates. The staff were very polite and responsive. We had fresh towels every day. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Very busy hotel. A large odor of THC was apparent in a few areas. Overall not a bad experience but I have had better.

It absolutely reeked of marijuana throughout the hotel, pool and hot tub were filthy, no towels at the pool, asked front desk for some, never arrived. Was charged $20 for two orange juices at the front desk, food at breakfast was meh, it was ok, fairly quiet and pretty clean for such a huge place. Staff seems overwhelmed.

The television was tiny and it only had 15 channels- two of which were weird conservative/religious channels. Beds were lumpy. Pool was freezing cold. Jacuzzi was too hot. Breakfast was virtually inedible apart from the waffles. I guess you get what you pay for.

The exterior doors that said needed a hotel key to open were unlocked. The room smelled like damp moldy carpet. The carpet felt wet walking on it the first time we walked into the room. We asked about the smell and they said it’s from the room being closed up. But I know the difference between stale air and a musty smell. The tv would not work. They fixed it the first time but as soon as we turned the tv off it stopped working. The workers didn’t seem to care at all. The doors to the room were beat up and discolored from wear and tear.

Having an option of indoor or outdoor swimming was great. Lots of sitting area by the outdoor pool. The breakfast area is way to small for that many guests. It definitely needs more seating! The bed was not very comfortable. Also I found a Starbucks drink in my room from 2 weeks prior (it was behind the chair) so I think it’s safe to assume the cleaning staff has been slacking or just lazy. When I told the front desk they just said “oh.”

Pretty inexpensive and in a good location if you’re visiting Cedar Point or other local attractions. Front desk is very friendly. Although our room was not super clean, it was good enough for somewhere to sleep and heading out the next morning. Our room had stained curtains, old toiletries inside the tub and our sheets were slightly stained/uncolored and ripped on one side, which is nothing major that ruined our stay. The biggest issues we had were our room keys not working when they were used after daily check out, and with our room being on the absolute end of the hotel, it was inconvenient to drive towards the back and realize your key didn’t work to even get into the hotel. Gladly, again front desk was quick to give us new keys. We made the trip over Labor Day weekend and had to leave pretty early to make our way back home, and while we were trying to get some sleep between 9-1AM, the phone was “phantom ringing” about every 15-20 minutes with no response on the other end. We had gotten to the point after about an hour we unplugged the phone line. While there’s room for improvement, it was a decent stay for a reasonable price.

There was a dirty piece of soap left in the bathroom with a hair on it when we arrived. The walls were very thin and other guests were very noisy including kids running up and down the halls, people yelling, and swearing. The tv did not work and the front desk sent 2 different guys to the room just to replace the cable so we could watch tv. They offered for us to change rooms but we were already settled for the night. I asked them to take some money off our bill for the inconvenience but that did not happen either. Overall not a great stay. I’m glad it was only 1 night.

Said the room had two queens and a full, but it was three fulls. I’m just not sure why they lie. Shower barely worked. Beds were very uncomfortable and old as well. Overpriced for what it was. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Key did not work to get in room. Tv did not work. Called the desk, said they’d send someone. Waited 15 minutes, walked to front desk, was told someone would come- waited an additional 30 minutes. Next morning TV would not work, someone came, TV worked for 5 minutes, then nothing. Not relaxing. When I talked to the front desk, they acted like this was normal events. I had to ask for the manager and compensation for the multiple inconveniences. If it was 1 thing, but the multiple things was too much!!!!

We enjoyed our stay overall but since it was two adults and four children we chose to get the 3 beds with two rooms and for some odd reason they decided to put that room directly above the reception desk and over looking the entire lobby. The lobby is nice but you could hear the kids and us since we were over the reception and lobby and everything echoed. We had a couple complaints of course. The kids were just being kids, excited to be in a hotel room. So, it made us a little uncomfortable and we probably won’t go back unless they have another 3 bedroom away from the lobby. Another thing we had to go upstairs and that was a bit much for the kids and when we had got breakfast and bringing in bags. I didn’t see an elevator but there may have been one someone further from our room. However, the ladies at the front desk were nice and great service! We have stayed at a few hotels in Sandusky and I will say this was our best one yet as far as cleanliness.

From the moment of check-in, this hotel stay was frustrating. The front desk staff was inattentive, taking phone calls during check-in and giving minimal information. The assigned room was in a section with a broken elevator, requiring a long walk to the only working one—information the front desk failed to mention, despite clearly knowing and had mentioned to other guests apparently after us. Once in the room, the TV didn’t work. After calling the front desk, we were told someone would come to fix it, but after 1.5 hours and multiple follow-up calls (which went unanswered), nothing was done. The next day, after confirming permission to enter the room for repairs, we returned around midnight to find our key cards deactivated due to a check-in error made by the same front desk person who kept ignoring me. This new front desk person reactivated them but made a snarky comment about me not knowing how keys work which I just ignored because it was 1 am at this point and I’d been locked out of my room for about an hour at this point and I was fed up. Upon entering the room I noticed a new TV had been installed, but it was not set up and didn’t function due to cable issues. At that point, we gave up. For $300, this was the worst hotel experience we’ve had—poor service, broken amenities, and no management support. Avoid this place. Pay a bit more money for some peace of mind.

This new front desk person reactivated them but made a snarky comment about me not knowing how keys work which I just ignored because it was 1 am at this point and I’d been locked out of my room for about an hour at this point and I was fed up. Upon entering the room I noticed a new TV had been installed, but it was not set up and didn’t function due to cable issues. At that point, we gave up. For $300, this was the worst hotel experience we’ve had—poor service, broken amenities, and no management support. Avoid this place. Pay a bit more money for some peace of mind.

Booked through hotels.com when I arrived they told me that they overbooked and my family and I had to go to another hotel. Went to the other hotel and it was terrible. I was upset at the time but did not want to argue with anyone about a refund. After the trip, I called and was always told that the manager was not available. Hotels.com did get me a partial refund but then choice privileges took all of my points that I had and said that it was hotels.com fault that i was overbooked. So my family ended up with a terrible hotel, 30 dollar refund and no points. Very dissapointed.

We booked our room & pd. But when we arrived there were NO rooms available. Not only for myself but the 10 others in line. The poor guy working alone was trying to find other hotels in the area for us to go to. He did find us a room in Norwalk about 15min away & I had to pay another walk in rate for 2 nights to the new hotel which was more money & dirty but it was our only option at midnight! Now I have pd Expedia hotel fees & I also used my key cash. Will I get this money all refunded??

Key did not work to get in room. Tv did not work. Called the desk, said they’d send someone. Waited 15 minutes, walked to front desk, was told someone would come- waited an additional 30 minutes. Next morning TV would not work, someone came, TV worked for 5 minutes, then nothing. Not relaxing. When I talked to the front desk, they acted like this was normal events. Always an enjoyable stay, but this time our room had a terrible smell. We were told something would be done, but it never was. We always wish the hotel restaurant, and outdoor bar would be open, but they havent been in years. Maybe next time!

One of the reasons we stayed here was because breakfast was included. Nothing was said about it at check-in nor was there any information in our room. We went down at 9:37 only to be told it closed at 9:30. Very disappointing.

We stopped here for a quick, one-night stay. So pleasantly surprised ... this hotel was BIG, had lots of parking. The room was comfortable. All in our party slept well; the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. There were numerous waffle stations set up, other hot food items, and fresh fruit, not just packaged foods. There were 2 pools though we did not have time to check out either one.

Room was warm and humid when we got there. Took almost 3hrs to cool down. Breakfast was stocked well, eggs and sausage kind of wet from steam buildup. They had 4 waffle makers which were all in operation, never seen 4!

The television was tiny and it only had 15 channels- two of which were weird conservative/religious channels. Beds were lumpy. Pool was freezing cold. Jacuzzi was too hot. Breakfast was virtually inedible apart from the waffles. I guess you get what you pay for.

I appreciate when hot breakfast is included (and not just continental) but it was really lacking. The egg-like product was really wet and gloppy. The meat-like sausage patties were flimsy and bland. We really appreciated the waffle makers, though. And inside the room there was no soap on the bathroom sink, but there was one open and in-use in the shower (the bathroom was not fully cleaned or tended to prior to check-in). I would normally give the staff an opportunity to fix it, but we weren't checked in until nearly 11pm and it was way past time to get the kids to bed.
