Went to the bar here it was the room was cheap, didnt have high hopes. But staff was friendly explained the deposit to me.

The ONLY good thing about this place is that their outdoor pool was still open, as several other hotels had already closed their pool for the season. To their credit, the 2 rooms we saw were not infested with bedbugs or roaches, which was surprising based on the condition of everything else.

The check in woman said there was nothing on the first floor even though I requested it at the time of booking. No elevator either - not good for husband’s heart. She told me it was 44 yrs old!! No remote, no hand towels, no conditioner, no ice no other guests! The whole place was in disrepair with no updates. No secure WIFI. The karaoke bar was below the room and was heard till early a.m. no bugs but I will never come back and neither should anyone else!!

The Elephant Run- the bar attached to the hotel- was decent and convenient. Otherwise, the hotel is run down and filthy. Pretty much straight out of "My Name is Earl." People yelling at each other from rooms down to the parking lot, banging on stuff and causing disruptions. Homeless people camping and panhandling in the parking lot. Cigarette burns in the blankets and curtains. Stains and filth on the curtains, walls and floors. Broken tile in the showers. This place is set up as an extended stay location for people down on their luck or on the wrong side of society. But, A/C works, doors lock, water is hot, and there are convenience stores, fast food, restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it\'s cheap.

expensive, i couldnt get towels because they didnt have any, i had dead roaches stuck to the inside of my freezer, there is no breakfast, no exercise facility, no spa, laundry out of order, there is numerous amounts of homless people on the property and cops because of it, i had to switch rooms 3 times, you only get 2 towels for 2 beds (if you can get any at all), lamp didnt work, no vending on premises. prices are ridicolous for what you get, maid didnt even come to my room

Had some issues the First room I was put in. The front desk was more than helpful and got me moved into a room inside the building and I was able to rest because there was no bugs and the lights worked. And al though I wish the ice machine worked and the guest laundry table to be used. Ad you were given more than a Over sized hand towel to use as a bath towel. And one for the floor or a floor mat to keep from slipping and one wash cloth is not enough no hand towels to dry hands on no towel for your hair. You don't get the breakfast it says is included. COVID is not a good legit reason for it to not be served. It supposed to be included in the stay and the price. But it's not available. Ehh oh well yaknow. I wish there was a way to get a two for one night special

For the price it works...Property is old and probably hard to keep up with, but staff are nice, very understanding and willing to do what they can to make your stay pleasant as possible. Some rooms are cleaner and better than others, but as mentioned, for the price, it works. The Elephant Run bar and grill is a cool place to hang out with live music and by the time you're done at 2 in the morning having a good time, you walk next door, hop in bed, and it all works.

This was a sty. The pool was closed. That was the sole reason i picked this place.

This property is beyond dirty, would have been CONDEMNED unfit for human had it been in another state…and if I didn’t get there after midnight, I would have left. Really really dirty, couldn’t use anything other than shower and lay on bed with my own blankets. Bedsheet and pillows smell unwashed! AC broken, microwave broken, TV remote broken, carpet unwashed, dirty, sticky with bare spots. BUGS crawling everywhere w holes in the walls. 2 homeless were sleeping on the stairs and beg for food. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE unless you are drug dealer. Oh yeah..NO Breakfast, staff said they stop serving breakfast for years.

They kept having to move me rooms plus they had plumbing problems and could not get them fixed and for the rooms upstairs there was no elevator for anyone you had to climb stairs I had a friend who had a hard time climbing the stairs they need a elevator

First floor rooms had roaches. They gave me another room on 2nd floor which was acceptable.

The place was not well maintained. The room had an odor. The sheets had stuff on them. The bedspread had multiple cigarette burns. The toilet had not been scrubbed. Jennie was very responsive when I asked for my money back. This place did not rate the two stars given on Expedia.

First room we got checked into the fridge wasnt working and the room was filthy. We got moved to a different room and to say they have roaches is an understatement. This place is crawling with them. There was hair and dirt all over the bed. Weed leftovers on the bed. No carpet in the room. 10 out of 10 absolutely DO NOT recommend staying here at all a pice of the headboard fell and hit me in the head. If i could give this place no stars i absolutely would

There was rice or some manner of food trash in the sink, a water bottle of a milk like substance in the mini fridge, the hair dryer was cut from the cord and missing, the office chair was torn up, the carpet had been ripped up completely and was bare concrete in the entire room, the bathroom door had been kicked in and there was no latch at all. The sink leaked non stop, the tv didn’t work, there was water damage throughout, everything reeked of smoke, and the blankets were stained and torn. Avoid at all costs unless price point is your only concern.

Roaches as soon as you walk in the door. Blood stains on the floor. Burn holes on the bedding.

The place was dirty and trash was everywhere. Luckily the service desk was helpful and got us a new room. It was too late for me to look elsewhere. Our first room had four stains on the bed, a roach in the bathroom, and a wet spot on the carpet by the front door. Trash cans were overflowing into hallways, homeless people were outside the buildings. The advertised breakfast was not provided. The photos were not accurate at all. I can provide my own photos if asked. No security whatsoever. I will NEVER stay here again nor recommend to anyone. Not even my enemies.

Very outdated. Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and needed vacuumed. Stains and burns in the bedding and carpet in our room. Mattresses on beds were very uncomfortable and lumpy. Pillows were flat and tiny. One washcloth for sink and one on the tub which was stained. Hair dryer in the room was broken, no clock In the room, lamp on desk was broken. Water was brown when shower was turned on for the first time

The noise outside was the only problem i had. People were up and moving around 3am

Cockroaches, slow seemingly dial-up speed internet constantly dropping out, and intermittent television service. It took four rooms to finally find one without unwanted guests (cockroaches) or so I thought. On my last day there, I found cockroaches in my fourth room. When I brought the roaches to the counter to discuss my unwillingness to share a room with the unwanted guests, they quickly took them and said they had been spraying and the cockroaches must be on the run and offered me a different room, saying that the cockroaches were just recently spotted. The price was too good to be true, if you want the normal comforts and to not have to share a room with cockroaches.

The smell of smoke hangs heavily int he lobby. The rooms desperately needed more maintenance(scratched doors, weird rattles, clean blankets and sheets but with cigarette holes, etc) and a modern remodel. And these were the inside rooms, the outside rooms look far worse.

Check in took over 30 minutes. The entire building was extremely hot because AC was broken and we were told they are not fixing it because it cost 10k. First room we went to took another 30 minutes to get into. The key card unit was broken. When the front desk clerk opened it and turned on the light and smashed a cockroach in front of my girl and me. He left and we proceeded to see cockroaches come out of the walls. The room reeked f cigarette smoke. We were moved to another room that was cockroach-free but just as bad. Trash filled room with all of the trash swept under the beds. TV did not work and did not have a working remote. Tub did not drain, toilet barely flushed and it smelled terrible. No refund or extra night free because we were told we booked on Expedia. I would highly not recommend this place. It needs to condemned or shut completely down for a full renovation. Talk about disgusting . Worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever had.

They put me in a room with lock lock me out I couldn't find the receptionist for over an hour until next shift came in they finally got my door unlocked after they put me in a different room finally got my stuff and then I find bed bugs in the room they put me in so I want a refund still haven't got my refund and they are rude when I inquire about it

Checking in was easy and getting the deposit back was as well.

Stay was ok, but still have not received the deposit back that was supposed to be 3 business days...a week later still nothing.

The front desk clerk Shanda went above and beyond to give good customer service. She was very friendly yet professional. Thanks for a great stay.

The pictures and amenities are not accurate. There is no breakfast at all. The door card needed to have an employee come to move the handle to make the card work. The staff was absolutely great.

The stay started off to a good start but didn't end well at all. First, let me start with there was no breakfast available and there was a note stating that the breakfast area would be closed for remodeling but there is snack bags available in the place of the breakfast. when I asked for one the gentleman stated we are not doing that right now. Then why have a sign posted that says so? Another thing the lobby bathroom was so bad with raw sewage backup that it is enough to close them down someone needs to report to the health board that is for sure. No towels were are available to take a shower and when you call the front desk for some they ignore you . This place is worse than a homeless that had not bathe in six months. I don't recommend my worst enemy to stay a night there.

The staff is what made this a wonderful place to stay. They are so welcoming, kind and they just make you feel right at home.

Couldn't find my reservation. Then whem i think they realized they gave my room away they tried to show me someone else's ID asking if it was me. Then they "upgraded" me from a queen to a double room (ps not an upgradefor my boyfriendand I). Took so long to check in we were late to our concert. Room was dirty and disgusting. Beds were very uncomfortable. Still advertised breakfast but offered nothing. Way overspent for a nasty room. It won't let me post photos or I would. Stained, gross chairs and dirty floors in the room.

First of all not only should this establishment be shut down but Expedia should be embarrassed and never advertise this slum palace anymore. As you walk around the grounds you will definitely notice this place doesn’t even look close to the pictures they list on their site and as your walking or driving around the hotel you will see several homeless people laying or standing around in the back drinking and smoking. The rooms have a super moldy smell. Burn holes in the curtains. Roaches crawling out from the bathroom sink. I couldn’t take a shower due to the pipe that Leads to the shower head was yanked out spraying up in the ceiling and then flooding the bathroom floor. My Dads room was the same way along with he had no hangers, the ceiling light cover was gone exposing the bulb and electrical wiring. There was one washcloth left for him and it was so nasty it turned it almost black. My dad was forced into going to another hotel stating that this hotel was totally unacceptable and was a health hazard and a risk of any electrical issues. My Father took several pictures of the issues we encountered at this hotel. I definitely believe I should be issued a full refund because this was not a hotel. It felt more like section eight and should be removed from your site. I will wait for your response and see how this can be resolved.

Husband had surgery early in the morning and we left late in the evening so I booked this motel since it was cheap and within 4 minutes of the hospital so we could get a little bit of rest. The night attendant was friendly, helpful, and just pleasant to deal with. She let me use the cart to take my items into the room and made sure we had a room accessible for a wheelchair. She told me they had fired two house keepers earlier that day for poor performance and she was going to double check our room to make sure it had been cleaned. Upon entering the room the first thing I noticed was the awful smell of cigarettes and a drug that’s not weed (it’s a non smoking room) and the thick build up on the carpet. We walked over to the bathroom to make sure there was clean towels and as soon as I flipped the light on, roaches scattered. I mentioned it and she offered to move us to a different room but I declined because realistically they’re probably in every room. She soon left and I gathered my belongings out of my vehicle and moved them to the room. I inspected the beds and the linen had burn holes, stains, no protective covers on the pillows, it seemed like the skirt to the bed had been covered in some sort of red substance that stained and they just covered it up with the blanket. Roach feces covered the tops of the walls and roaches covered the back of the mini fridge. The extra chair in the room looked like a muddy dogs favorite place to sit. It was uncomfortable to nap there.

The Front Desk people were pretty cool its just it was LOUD and Homeless people all over and around the whole place. My room was filthy with cockroaches everywhere 😒. Although the Hot water worked very well! It required a $50 deposit on top of the Overpriced payment for the inconvenience caused by the conditions of the room and area. I don't recommend staying there unless you absolutely need to.

Location was good, but the hotel was very rundown. I asked the house keeper for a new bath towel, and she folded one up that she had just gotten from another room for me to use. It was loud, and there were homeless people wandering around. The front desk people were excellent however.

Super sketchy! I should have read the reviews first. Homeless everywhere. Drug deals and prostitution happening in the open. No towels or wash cloths in the room. A couple had a screaming fight outside my room at three in the morning, he was insecure about her having sex for money, and she didn’t like the other woman coming to their room after he sold her drugs.

Sadly, this great location (and formerly very nice facility, including a large pool) is compromised by seemingly vagrant vagabonds and hangers on. I'm quite tolerant, and even though the price is cheap, I would be reluctant to choose this place again. I was sympathetic to the situation, and if price and location matter most to you, give it a night and see how it goes.

No breakfast in the morning due to coronavirus trash all around outside

The a/c unit didn’t work so we had to use the pullout couch and sleep in front of the ac unit just to be somewhat comfortable. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Just two small soap bars. No hand towels or wash rags. The outlets were coming out of the wall. A homeless man was sleeping outside of our room and the conjoining room had permanent residents that even made our room smell. The breakfast was longer offered due to covid. So you get a bagged breakfast that has a granola bar and a juice pouch. The carpets were so stained and old we wore socks all night long. The water is uncontrollable with the nob in the shower. The front desk people were rude and gave dirty looks and acted annoyed when we asked for breakfast.
