Super 8 by Wyndham Baker City

The bed was very clean and comfortable and the pillows were great.

The room was very clean and had a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast was good. My only complaint, if you could call it that, was the dining area was small. There were a few families that came in and it felt shoulder to shoulder.

Staff were good but the facility was old and run down. They obviously slapped a coat of grey paint on it and tried to call it good but the room was not in great condition. Bedding wasn’t even a comforter, just two sheets sandwiching a blanket that that was very old and worn.

I’m not sure why this has any reviews with more than 3 stars. It was grimy, outdated, there were sketchy people around, the bar lock on my room was broken (like it had been kicked in) and we felt unsafe. It took about 45 minutes to get another room — in a fairly empty hotel— and it was very inconvenient. The breakfast was almost all carbs (except some rehydrated scrambled eggs), no meat or fruit.

Nice hotel, but no elevators.
