I enjoy staying at this hotel; my kids and I stay there every single time we\'re in town, which is saying something. But, the "fitness room" needs an upgrade, desperately. There are no dumbbells, bands, balls, or mats in the tiny room (so if you want to do abs, you\'re laying on the dirty carpet). There\'s a treadmill - old, and broken on multiple occasions when I\'ve been there - an elliptical, and a bike. Other than that, there are a few medicine balls ranging from 4 to 12 pounds, but nowhere to actually use them (there\'s literally no extra space), and a small cable machine in the corner. If it\'s a single night, you can make do, but if you\'re serious about fitness at all and/or staying multiple days, it\'s frustrating.

The property has a great view of the Bridge of the Gods. There is a nice gym on site and a great pool and hot tub that our family really enjoyed. The hotel is right next door to a great restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch. Not far down the road is multiple family friendly pubs that offer great food choices also for lunch and dinner. There is easy access to some small groceries in town. The only potential “downsides” are that it backs up to a train track between the hotel and the river. Excess noise was never honestly an issue during our stay. Overall a nice gem of a hotel at a fair price point, and I would absolutely stay again.

very nice hotel… Very comfy beds clean room love the separate vanity with dual sinks! we got a Riverview room, which was right next to the train tracks, but the hotel does give you earplugs! They do have dual pane windows, which helps reduce the sound!! only reason I gave it a four stars in terms of condition is because the pool and Jacuzzi really could use an update! complementary breakfast was nice… Order off the menu!

Plenty of parking close. Warm welcome, comfortable room. This hotel has a swimming pool and spa which guests use and enjoy, while watching the Columbia River outside the patio. Included breakfast at the restaurant next door includes multiple choices, friendly service, and that outstanding view. A very pleasant stay.

The balcony view is amazing. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel. Very clean, very accommodating for families. The breakfast included was delicious and amazing. Loved the coffee machine by the front desk.

Our 2nd time here. Everything was updated, very clean, and very friendly staff. View is spectacular. WAY nicer than Skamania Lodge across the river and not nearly as expensive. We’ll be staying here again.

I had reserved 3 separate rooms and specifically asked for daily linen change and room cleaning in each room. in fact told the front desk and they confirmed that they do this. they did the beds in all three rooms after the first night of stay. but did not do it after the second night of stay. talked to the front desk and even gave my phone and email but no one contacted me back regarding this. to pay this large amount and not to have the beds done in all the three rooms is not expected and not acceptable. we even asked for the beds to be made when we returned to the property yesterday at 8/18/24 7 pm but were told that there is no housekeeping and nothing could be done. I feel there should be some compensation/refund for not providing the service already paid for. the managers names are Karie Nash - front office and sales manager and Andrea myhill - general manager. neither has contacted me. I would appreciate if you can get back to me regarding this and let me know how to correct this. Umesh Chitaley

Friendly. Compfy bed, too high of mattress (I’m short). Shower curtain didn’t keep water in shower. First day, housekeeping came at 6:00 PM. Last day, didn’t clean room at all. Great pool and spa. Fantastic view. Complementary breakfast.

The room was large, excellent views. The hotel needs some maintenence. The ceiling had an active leak, it was raining. It was dripping on the 2nd bed. We put a towel under it, my daughter slept on the dry side. The breakfast is great. Made to order next door at the restsurant. With some updates this hotel can be nice.

We arrived at 2pm. Yes, early on the off chance we could check in early. Room not ready, so we took a 1 hour side trip. Room not ready at 3pm, so we sat in the lobby until 4pm. Front desk said they could not harass the cleaning staff. We were the only guests sitting in the lobby. Just surprised the front desk could not encourage a room cleaning request. We felt pretty unappreciated.

The front desk person who checked us in was amazing. Orbitz didnt send any information over to this location about my reservation, and i ended up canceling my reservation with orbitz and getting a cheaper rate at this location. I don't think I'll book through Orbitz again because of all the trouble. But major kudos to the front desk agent who assisted me in this whole fiasco. You're the best.

Staff was mostly nice except for on check-out when the male front desk clerk was deliberatley ignoring the line of clients wanting to check out while on his cell phone. I uad forgot an item in my room and the hotel went above and beyond to return it. The included breakfast voucher for the restraunt next door wasn't great. The food it covered was poor and you couldn't pay the difference to upgrade and get something better. Overall a very positive experience.

I booked through Expedia and they charged me for a room that the hotel wasn’t even offering. Expedia is impossible to get a hold of so I knew I’d be out of luck even in a getting a refund! This has happened before! This time, though, a woman named Holly was at the front desk. I told her of my predicament and she called her boss to see if they could get me into a room without paying AGAIN. She exhausted all resources to make sure I got a bed. She was wonderful, and I will never book through Expedia for a hotel again! You guys still owe me money from the last time this happened!

I am still waiting to speak with the manager about my absolutely awful experience with this horrible woman who was working the night we checked in. I’ve stayed at this hotel probably 15 times over the last few years and NEVER had an experience like this before. She was the most hateful, petty, condescending woman I’ve spoken to in a very long time. I’m not sure we’ll ever stay there again… it was THAT awful.

This property is located directly on the Columbia River. Riverside rooms have private balconies with excellent views. If you book a parking lot side room, you can still enjoy the view from the patio off of the pool area. We drove across the bridge to Stevenson for dinner as that area had more dining options. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

The hotel was in a prime location to explore the Columbia Gorge area as well as for the Bridge of the Gods Half Marathon that i participated in this year. Hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast each morning at The Bridgeside Reataurant next door started our day off right each day. Also enjoyed meeting PCT thru hikers!

Security is bad, not a camera in site and no police availability. At least three cars/trucks were vandalized the night of my stay including my friends truck. One truck parked directly out the lobby window/front door on the street and the decals were peeled off the door!!!! Where was the night clerk? Sleeping? I will not stay at this hotel again and I will not suggest to my friends ever! We usually stay one night in April and one night in October/November, our group will be looking for a new venue.

This best western is in a lovely location on the Columbia River. Book a river view room w/balcony - so worth it! Great spot to explore the area for hiking, day trip to Hood River, fruit loop trail, etc.

Room was spacious , view of the river from our room window was fabulous. Check in staff was very friendly and cheerful. Not much outside noise in the room at night, beds comfortable. Breakfast is at the next door restaurant and is okay but not great. Hot food was cold, no condiments for toast except jam, fruit cup is tiny, etc. but it is free. Nowhere open to eat an evening meal nearby so be prepared to eat elsewhere.
